Republicans are seeking records revealing Joe Biden's use of pseudonyms to discuss his activities related to Ukraine with his son Hunter during his time as vice president.
They specifically want an un-redacted document that indicates that then-Vice President Biden took a call with the president of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, on May 27, 2016. Republicans say the document was emailed to 'Robert L. Peters' which is 'a pseudonym' the House Oversight Committee has 'identified as then Vice-President Biden,' a letter obtained by DailyMail.com states. 'Additionally, the Committee questions why the then-Vice President's son, Hunter Biden—and only Hunter Biden—was copied on this email to then-Vice President Biden.'

The period of 15 months between now and the next presidential election is a vast chasm of what is now commonly called denial. For eight years, since the Trump phenomenon became a political force, a sequence of options has been implemented for removing it. It was initially a subject of hilarity and challenges from late-night television wits to see who could be more acidulous in dismissing the absurdity of a Trump presidential candidacy. (Most of those so-called wits have now been sacked by their networks or reduced by the labor problems in Hollywood to reruns of what was stale programming when first aired;

Whether former President Donald Trump has bitten off more than he can chew legally remains to be seen, but there is one way the growing number of indictments plays to his advantage.
In the Republican primary, at least, "us" would be those who have doubts about the 2020 election, see the justice system as having been “weaponized” against conservatives in a way it would never be against President Joe Biden or his family, and therefore think the indictments are bogus. The people on the other side of those issues are “them.”
Presidential politics in the 21st century is a Hatfields vs. McCoys feud. Few understand this better than Trump.

"The Blind Side" author Michael Lewis, whose book based on the life of former NFL player Michael Oher was adapted for the film and was nominated for Best Picture at the Oscars, broke his silence on the drama between the subject and the Tuohy family. Lewis told The Washington Post on Wednesday that no one who was involved in the book saw millions of dollars from the movie. The movie earned nearly $310 million from the box office. In the book, Lewis followed Oher from his upbringing in a poor community, his years at a private school in Tennessee to his alleged adoption by Sean and Leigh Anne Tuohy.

Attorneys for Dianne Feinstein are alleging financial elder abuse in a new lawsuit seeking to remove managers of a trust established by the senator’s late-husband Richard Blum.
Senator Dianne Feinstein hospitalized after falling in her home
The lawsuit, which was filed on 8 August by Feinstein’s attorneys and her daughter Katherine Feinstein, claims co-trustees Michael Klein and Marc Scholvinck failed to fund a sub-trust – of which Feinstein, 90, is the sole beneficiary – from Blum’s estate. Withholding the funds was meant to benefit Blum’s three daughters who “stand to inherit millions of dollars”, Feinstein’s attorneys wrote in court filings. The lawsuit is also seeking Klein and Scholvinck be removed as co-trustees.

The latest indictment of former President Donald Trump is even more outlandish than Jack Smith’s blatant attempt to criminalize free speech. The indictment Monday out of Fulton County, Georgia, criminalizes mundane activities like asking for a phone number, texting, encouraging people to watch a televised hearing, and reserving a room at the Georgia capitol.
These activities, according to Georgia prosecutor Fani Willis, run afoul of the state’s Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) statute. As far as Willis is concerned, Trump’s legal efforts to challenge the election results in Georgia amounted to a criminal conspiracy, with Trump as the criminal mastermind.

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu bragged on Tuesday that the Kremlin has shown the West's military technology is not all it's chalked up to be.
"The Russian army debunked many myths about the superiority of Western military standards," Shoigu said at a security conference attended by Chinese Defense Minister Li Shangfu.
He said it was now "obvious" that NATO weaponry, modern war doctrine, and training "cannot ensure superiority on the battlefield," per a transcript posted by Russia's Defense Ministry.
"In many cases, even Soviet-made equipment surpasses Western models in its combat qualities," Shoigu boasted further, though he cited no detailed information or evidence to support his claim.

When the Supreme Court denied the State of Texas’s lawsuit in December of 2020 to challenge the integrity of that year’s general election for lack of Article III standing, there already existed an overwhelming trove of evidence of procedural abnormalities and statistical anomalies that pointed to fundamental questions about the legitimacy of the election. Well over 155 million votes were allegedly cast in that year’s cycle—the most of any vote total in presidential history, surpassing 2016’s previous record-setting high by a whopping 28 million votes.

Ohio Rep. Max Miller clashed with Rep. Ilhan Omar Tuesday night after the Republican congressman called a post "bigoted" for promoting Christianity as the only true religion. Miller sparked the confrontation after taking issue with a former Ohio GOP employee Lizzie Marbach, who posted to social media, "There's no hope for any of us outside of having faith in Jesus Christ alone."
Miller accused Marbach of bigotry and undermining religious freedom in the United States, writing, "This is one of the most bigoted tweets I have ever seen. Delete it, Lizzie."

Fani Willis, the district attorney in Fulton County, Ga, charged former President Donald Trump and 18 colleagues with racketeering under Georgia's RICO law. The charge is that he conspired with them to overturn the 2020 Georgia presidential election results.
Experienced lawyers, such as those at Bochetto & Lentz, a law firm that says it specializes in "messy, complicated, high-pressure, and high-stakes cases," highlight the benefits of using RICO statutes, which enable prosecutors to tie numerous crimes into one case, even if they have covered an extensive period. The person who didn't "pull the trigger, set a fire, or commit a burglary" can be charged under RICO laws.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott on Monday told an Australian woman complaining about "too many American flags" to go back to her country in response to a video of her posted to social media.
TikTok user Mia Chloe, who goes by the username @meanderwithmia, often posts about "Traveling the world on a budget & no brain cells," according to her account page. In a video posted several days ago, she called out the abundance of American flags she observed in her travels to the United States.
"I'm just going to say it. There are too many American flags. They're on houses. They're on cars. Some are on couch cushions," she said.

President Biden and former President Donald Trump are now in a legal death match, where, for either one to stay out of prison, his opponent will probably go to prison.
The Biden Democrats have made no secret that they are willing to do almost anything to put Mr. Trump behind bars. The necessity of locking up Mr. Trump for Mr. Biden and his family to remain free has become even more acute given the added evidence of wrongdoing by the Biden family.
Mr. Biden has to be reelected to be certain that no member of his family, including himself, is convicted of any felony with prison time or, if convicted, pardoned.
