If you want a good indication that conservatives are, at long last, scoring a few actual victories these days, look at the apoplexy it’s causing those on the left.
A prime example is a piece written by Jill Lawrence, a former editor at USA Today, which posted on July 4 on MSNBC and carried the scary title: “Seeing the erosion of our freedoms makes it hard to celebrate this Fourth of July.” It is a remarkable display of fearmongering, incoherence, and illogic.
“The Supreme Court, conservative governors and gerrymandered state legislatures are racing to shrink fundamental rights and freedoms,” Lawrence writes. “The result is that tens of millions of Americans

A fugitive who claimed to have provided the FBI with information on the Biden family’s business dealings in China is facing decades behind bars for alleged arms trafficking and other charges involving Iran. Gal Luft, a 57-year-old dual U.S.-Israeli citizen, is charged with acting as an unregistered agent of China and seeking to broker the sale of Iranian oil in violation of sanctions, federal prosecutors in Manhattan said on Monday.
The indictment also accuses Luft of recruiting and paying a former high-ranking U.S. government official on behalf of principals based in China in 2016, without registering as a foreign agent as required by law.

Democrats lost significant ground among minority populations over the last decade. Between the 2012 and 2020 presidential elections, black voters moved six points towards Republicans and Latinos shifted eight. The exception to this trend was Asian American voters, who inched one point towards Democrats over those eight years.
In 2022, this silver lining dulled appreciably. New data from the analytic firm Catalist shows that Democrats struggled with Asian American voters in the midterms. The demographic lurched seven percent towards Republicans in just two years—more than any other major ethnic category. And while Asian Americans, who make up around four percent of the voting electorate

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, R-Fla., is taking aim at the Pentagon over its opposition to her bill that would combat sexual assault in the military by requiring service members to take monthly self-defense classes. The bill, H.R. 1434, or the Stop Our Sexual Assault in the Military Act, comes as the annual number of sexual assaults in the military has increased. According to a 2021 Pentagon report, more than 4,000 assaults occurred in that year alone, an increase of 26% from the previous year.
"The DOD’s response to my office says all you need to know about the state of our military right now. It seems that the DOD prioritizes wokeness

In news that is shocking Hollywood and the mainstream media elite world, Angel Studios’ movie “Sound of Freedom” beat out the latest long-promoted Indiana Jones sequel on July 4th, despite having a tiny fraction of the budget and media attention.
The Sound of Freedom, starring Jim Caviezel and Eduardo Verástegui, is based on a true story of a former special agent, Tim Ballard, and his mission to rescue hundreds of children from sex traffickers.
CPAC hosted a special screening for “Sound of Freedom” at the Museum of the Bible in Washington, DC, a couple of weeks ago to bring awareness to the crisis and announce the unveiling of CPAC’s

As a long-standing free speech advocate, the last few years have been alarming and, frankly, depressing.
The censorship efforts of the government are, unfortunately, not new. However, what is new is the support of the media and the Democratic Party in such censorship. That was on display on various channels after the recent opinion finding that the Biden administration had violated the First Amendment in "the most massive attack against free speech in United States history."
However, the New York Times immediately warned that the outbreak of free speech could "curtail efforts to combat disinformation." Yet, no one expressed it more simply and chillingly than CNN Chief White House Correspondent

Stein’s Law holds that “If something cannot go on forever, it will stop.”
The late Herbert Stein made the observation about economic trends, but his axiom perfectly describes Joe Biden’s shaky dance with political death. The president is trying to navigate a narrow path between two potential disasters.
Each one could prove fatal to his tenure, but if the twain shall meet, he doesn’t have a prayer.
And it’s a near certainty they will meet because the facts we already know are overwhelmingly stacked against him and more damaging information is coming soon.
One track of his predicament stems from general public unhappiness with his performance.

Americans weighed in on whether President Biden was living up to his demand for "honor and decency" in the White House following the discovery of cocaine in the West Wing and after activists went topless on the South Lawn. "Nah, cocaine, cocaine in the White House, that never happens," one man told Fox News.
Biden tweeted during the 2020 presidential election that "we need to restore honor and decency to the White House." Meanwhile, over the weekend, cocaine was found in a part of the White House that visitors can't access unless they're receiving a tour from staff.

Imagine if we learned Biden Administration officials had secretly jawboned the New York Times on trans issues. Or told baseball teams they should fly pride flags - or face antitrust hearings. Or complained to the History Channel over a documentary depicting the discovery of crude oil positively.
The First Amendment concerns would be obvious. We’d all wonder why government officials thought they could tell private companies what opinions and news to carry.
The American government is hugely powerful. Not even the biggest company can ignore a call from the White House. If the executive branch has something to say, it should do so with press conferences and open advertising

At least as far back as the inauguration of President Donald Trump in January 2017 and the “Women’s March” that followed the next day, Democrats and left-wing activists have invariably complained about the imminent perils threatening “our democracy.” Time and again, Democrats have depicted virtually any action they do not approve of — from uncouth Trump tweets to state-level GOP-led election-integrity initiatives to standard originalist Supreme Court picks — as ushering in proto-authoritarianism or “democratic backsliding,” to use the corporate media’s favorite term of art.

Multiple liberal outlets have trashed the new film "Sound of Freedom" as "QAnon-adjacent" and "fit for QAnon" in recent days, descriptions that relegate the film about human trafficking to fodder for conspiracy theorists. Both U.K. publication The Guardian and website Jezebel claimed that the film starring Jim Caviezel, which was based on the true story of a U.S. Homeland Security agent rescuing two young children from human traffickers in South America, was attached to QAnon, a right-wing community that has been accused of buying into fringe conspiracy theories. Although the film, produced by Angel Studios and released over the July 4 holiday, never engages in such conspiracy theories while exposing

The drip-drip-drip of evidence detailing the Biden family criminal enterprise has turned into a torrent.

And the sudden quiet from our most strident “democracy defenders” has grown deafening. Case in point: the silence around revelations contained in a video exclusively obtained by The Post from Gal Luft, a key would-be witness on Biden family corruption.
Luft alleges that he provided evidence of Biden family misdeeds to the FBI in 2019.
He claims too that his own 2023 arrest was meant to stop him from testifying
