In 1996 comedian Chris Rock performed an HBO special called, “Bring the Pain” (full video here). His most memorable routine began with: “Who’s more racist? Black people or white people? Black people. Because everything white people hate about black people, black people REALLY don’t like about black people.” Rock used the hard, “R”, calling it a Civil War between black people and n****** , declaring that, “n****** got to go!”
The audience in Washington DC was mostly if not entirely black, and the laughter was loud. It was real. And it signaled agreement.

Like Rock, Cosby received praise for speaking the truth and criticism for airing their dirty laundry in public. But just three weeks later he appeared at Jesse Jackson’s Rainbow/PUSH and said,
“Let me tell you something. Your dirty laundry gets out of school at two-thirty everyday. It’s cursing and calling each other n words as they walk up and down the street. They think they’re hip. They can’t read. They can’t write. They’re laughing and giggling and they’re going nowhere.”

It's a familiar truth. My black friends look at those who give the rest a bad name and are embarrassed to be lumped into the same group. It's like white people being compared to Klan members and Nazis. Black and white people walking down the street together upsets all of them.

My best friend in the Army married a German girl (lady — I think she’s 50 something now) 30 years ago. He’s black. She’s German.
They moved from the USA to Germany to raise their kids. Live in the rural Bavaria somewhere. So German an area that this Jew gets the willies a bit.
Why? To escape white racism? No, to make sure their children had zero to do with American black “culture”.
Eldest kid was just the valedictorian and going to college.
Not because

I have said this many times. Blacks are their own worst enemy. But it's easier to whine KKK, or white supremacy, or racism, or throw out any excuse to take the blame off your shoulders. You cannot go through life not participating in your own education, believe that any personal responsibility means you are trying to be white, have kids when you are 14 and keep having them, do drugs, sell drugs, don't work, shoplift freely and then complain when the stores close up shop, shot each other with abandon, end every situation with violence, having sex with whomever knocks on your door, believing that speaking and writing in correct English is also white, personal responsibility is not necessary and on and on. I had a black male student who loved to read. When Christmas break was approaching I invited him to the library to look over some of the new books not yet on the shelf. Wanted to give him first choice to pick something out to read over break. He told me that he never took his books home. Only read at school. His family made fun of him for getting good grades and enjoying a good book. Told him he was being too white and to knock it off. And they wonder why they aren't living a good and decent life? For some reason being the stupidest person in the room and a lowlife is high on their list. And blaming a white person for their problems is their way to blame someone else and not themselves. And shows like The View and the msm still want to cry "oh, woe is me" and point fingers.

Is that why Barack Obama selected Joe Biden as his running mate? In reading this article, I may be closer to my answer because I have never understood that administration. I never understood why anyone didn't see what I saw in the picture of Joe Biden and Robert Byrd. I still don't understand how a man like Barack Obama can run around crying "racism" and not see it in his own VP. Still boggles the mind. . .

And yet wealthy blacks like Whoopi Goldberg and that cretin Sonny Hostin make millions whining about how oppressed the American black man and woman is - still - in this country while they wouldn't be caught dead hanging out with the same thugs they say they care about - same for the Obamas, Gayle King, Oprah, etc ad nauseum.

“Most of the trouble I have had in advancing the cause of the race has come from negroes. Booker Washington aptly described the race in on of his lectures by stating that we were like crabs in a barrel, that none would allow the other to climb over, but on any such attempt all would continue to pull back into the barrel the one crab that would make the effort to climb out.” — Marcus Garvey, “The Negro’s Greatest Enemy”. 1923

At age 18, my now son in law went off to a historically black college on a football scholarship. From day one he was ridiculed and called “preppy” because he was not decked out in ghetto thug clothing and spoke English properly. He lasted one semester and then switched schools. He now owns two businesses and works six days a week to support my daughter and their kids. His family has been in their small town for eight generations and there are four generations there right now. They are all educated, employed and some others are business owners. Not one generation has ever taken any entitlements. At their wedding, the crowd was about half black and half white. Everyone was friendly, we all ate and danced with each other and had a lovely time.
I believe that the majority of blacks fall into the same category as my extended family, but sadly, as with the whole alphabet crowd, it’s the thugs and deviants who get all of the attention.

Watch the video, but I'll save you some time - start at 29 minutes and 30 seconds, and the "good stuff" runs for about 6 minutes.
And a lot of "inconvenient truths" in that section - although Rock generally has pretty good social commentary about a lot of stuff.
Yes, until the "black people" do something about the (I'll call them 'problem people' instead of the "n-word" that Rock uses) problem people, the whole country has a lot of difficulties. And this can't be solved from the outside, by white people.
Good luck, but it almost seems like the (good) black people have decided that electing problem people with black skin is preferrable to electing good people with white skin. Early in the video Chris Rock does a long riff on "crack head Marion Barry"...."how'd he get his job back? A crack head gets fired from McDonalds, he can't get is job back. They won't trust a crackhead with a Happy Meal!"
Look at who they elected mayor of Chicago the last two times. Lots of other black problem people elected to lead cities, too. The black people need to stop voting for the problem people....or as Chris Rock (sorta) says "Problem people gotta go!".

They should have listened to Jesse Jackson long ago when he said “nobody is gonna save us from us but us!”

What Rock calls n******s, others call ghetto culture, and i call street culture is all summed up by Thomas Sowell's research identifying the redneck culture imported from England in the 18th century.

Well #5, it is well known both Obamas have their own race problems. It was crystal clear over eight years of his Presidency and detailed out for us in his book how much he despised our Founding Fathers and America’s Judeo-Christian roots. The virulently racists and Pastor based in Chicago were close friends. The Obamas attended the church of that particular openly racist pastor for years.
Therefore, I do not doubt Obama knew exactly who Biden was when he chose him as VP. The racial stuff was not as important to BO as other more important things. I think BO knew that the depravity and greed of the man would ensure he would be the controlled puppet he needed. He was right on that one.
