DES MOINES, Iowa — Former Vice President Mike Pence, who certified the 2020 election results under threat from supporters of then-President Donald Trump, kicked off a bid for the Oval Office on Wednesday.
On his 64th birthday, Pence, the former Indiana governor and six-term congressman, released a launch video taking whacks at President Joe Biden by name and Trump by implication. "President Joe Biden and the radical left have weakened America at home and abroad," Pence says in a self-narrated 2½-minute montage of Americana. "We can turn this country around. But different times call for different leadership."
Turning more squarely toward the oft-spiteful Trump, Pence adds, "Today, our party and our

Mike Pence reminds me of the story of a Democrat radio program for FDR in 1940. The comedian, Georgie Jessel was the MC and was supposed to have 5 minutes at the end of the show for his remarks.
As it went, all the speakers went over their time and Jessel had less than 30 seconds to wrap up. Here's what he said:
Tonight, you heard from my friends why Wendall Wilkie (FDR's Republican opponent) is not fit to be President. I will not do that. I know Wendell Wilkie. Wendell Wilkie is a fine man. So is my Uncle Chester. Uncle Chester should not be President of the United States. Neither should Wendell Wilkie. Thank you and good night.

My dog was born here, she's 35+ dog years and loves this country in her own special dog way.
She's about as likely to get the nomination as Mike Pence and a stronger leader, too.

As Harold Stassen looks down from heaven, even he must be shaking his head and wondering how Pence can be so delusional.

"When Esther’s words were reported to Mordecai, he sent back this answer: 'Do not think that because you are in the king’s house you alone of all the Jews will escape. For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?'”
I believe that Pence was placed in office "for such a time as this" to save the American people from the coup. But now if God wills our deliverance "will arise from another place" and Pence will go down as one of the great cowards of history.

Only two people could turn this country around, and it will be tough, Trump and DeSantis. End of story.

The same people pushing Pence are the very same pushing the DeSantis meme. It's all about splitting President Trumps supporters. Ain't happening. MAGA

Mike, you run with the demons. The only thing you can turn around is the person in front of you, in order to stick a knife in their back.

He’ll pull about 5% of the primary vote. Hopefully, that will be the last time anyone hears about Mike Pence.

Pence will perform as well as Jeb Bush in 2016. No one wanted Jeb and no one wants Pence. He had his chance and he blew it, to be politically correct.

He can't win, but he might be able to siphon support from Trump or DeSantis. In either event, he can always use the money he grifts.

Campaign Cash always draws a crowd. wonder how many of his relatives will be working on all aspects of his short campaign, and banking that cash legally, unlike the biden crime family.

I happened to hear a little of Christie’s speech and a little of Pence’s speech. Christie actually sounded better than dull Pence. Neither one will get my vote though.
