Now that President Biden has rolled out his first campaign advertisement of the 2024 cycle, we’ve learned that his theme is going to be “Let’s finish the job.” As with so much else that we’ve watched unfold over the past two years, that video left me feeling like I was watching some sort of poorly scripted dystopian movie. He’s hardly the first president to adopt such a theme, but surely he’s aware that most of his target audience (likely voters who are interested in the election) have access to the internet or at least a television, right? We’ve all witnessed “the job” that he’s done thus far and the results

Just a week after then-CIA Director John Brennan warned President Barack Obama that Hillary Clinton's campaign was conjuring up a Russia scandal to harm Donald Trump, the agency's former acting chief became one of the first high-profile intelligence community figures to claim that the 2016 Republican nominee was a possible agent of Vladimir Putin.
In an Aug. 5, 2016 op-ed in the New York Times, Michael Morell cited his CIA experience to make the Trump allegation and he also endorsed Clinton for president.

President Joe Biden on Tuesday announced his intention to run for a second term in the White House, and nobody cares, including his base. Biden’s announcement, which was highly anticipated by absolutely no one, came in a video titled “Freedom.”
In the video, the president reiterated his tired old diatribes about fighting for the “soul of our nation,” fighting for “democracy” and “blah blah blah.”
While some in the activist media are unsuccessfully trying to garner excitement for this development, recent polling suggests that even Democrats aren’t all that enthused about Biden seeking another nap term as president.
According to a recent CBS News/YouGov poll, only 22 percent of Democrats expressed excitement

PORTLAND, Ore. – Portland is about to be one of the first cities in the U.S. with blocks dedicated as a zero-emission delivery zone, thanks to a $2 million grant the city received. These vehicles can include electric vans and trucks, cargo bikes or hydrogen-fueled vehicles. The goal is to reduce traffic from heavy trucks in the downtown area. The unemployment rate is very low, but we have millions fewer people working in America than pre-pandemic. So what gives?
Here’s what gives. It’s because the unemployment rate does not measure the total number of people who are unemployed. It instead measures the number of people who are unemployed but looking for work. Many people who are unemployed today are simply not looking.
Work is not to their liking.

President Joe Biden, now 80 years old and running for reelection, suggested during his 1972 U.S. Senate race that his 63-year-old opponent was too old to serve.
When he ran against incumbent Sen. Cale Boggs (R-DE), a former two-term governor, in 1972, Biden, a local councilman in Delaware at 29 years old, used his opponent’s age to criticize him on multiple occasions, CNN first reported.“Cale doesn’t want to run, he’s lost that old twinkle in his eye he used to have,” Biden said of his opponent in 1972. The then-councilman used the senator’s age enough times that a reporter eventually labeled the tactic “Dear old dad.”

Early on Tuesday morning, President Joe Biden launched his 2024 re-election bid via a three-minute video posted across social media. "Personal freedom is fundamental to who we are as Americans. There's nothing more important. Nothing more sacred," Biden's booming voice-over narrated.

The new measures will go into effect immediately. In addition to the semiautomatic rifle ban, a ten-day waiting period for all gun purchases will be instituted. There is also a measure to enable the state attorney general or private citizens to sue gun manufacturers and dealers under public-nuisance laws if they negligently allow their guns to be sold to minors or straw purchasers, the Seattle Times reported.
“These weapons of war, assault weapons, have no reason other than mass murder,” Inslee said at the signing ceremony.

As you have probably already heard, this morning Tucker abruptly left his position as the most powerful anchor at Fox News, or anywhere on television.
I’ve never had a beer or a coffee off-set with Tucker. We have very similar views on some issues, like the dangers of cannabis and mRNA jabs, but very different on others like Ukraine.
And I only got to know him when he was already hugely successful. Adults have a hard time becoming close under those circumstances. I’ve never wanted to be the guy asking Tucker (or Elon) for favors - aside from the favor

It is hard to believe Joe Biden can possibly go through with this. He is no longer capable of doing a live press conference, and couldn’t even manage a live re-election announcement. National Review reminds us that in 2019 Biden apparently told confidantes that he’d be a one-term president, that it was “inconceivable” that he’d run again in 2024.
So what’s behind this? And why so early? Reagan didn’t announce his re-election candidacy until early in 1984, though Bill Clinton announced his 1996 candidacy in April 1995. Therein likes the the beginning of an answer. In April 1995 Clinton’s poll numbers were still in the tank after the GOP landslide

A pre-recorded announcement? When someone announces they’re running for president, it’s a massive public event featuring the biggest and most enthusiastic crowd the candidate can muster. The famed Hollywood studio Warner Bros. is celebrating its hundredth anniversary this year, and it certainly has a rich history to showcase. The studio could have coasted through its anniversary year by rolling out some of its classic films, which range from the very beginnings of cinema to today, to new audiences. But some daring young innovative thinker at Warner Bros. decided to do something at once more audacious, more risky, and much more certain to produce ghastly results: Warner is going to mark its hundredth birthday with “a short film series that reimagines the Studio’s iconic films through a diverse and inclusive lens.” Hey, it could be worse.

During busy news cycles, it’s hard to write posts. Each story screams for attention, creating analysis paralysis. What struck me today, though, was that many of the stories we’re seeing are part of something much larger, which is what I call the “Great Sorting.” All the old patterns are broken, and people are rethinking their allegiances.
Before the 21st century, the world’s patterns were predictable. You could divide history into the era before the Soviet Union collapsed and after the collapse.

The victims’ stories have been muffled by the mainstream media, but they’re starting to break through. For one thing, lawsuits against three hospitals have been filed in California by 14 bereaved families who claim their loved ones were killed by a deadly protocol. Meanwhile, activist organizations like Protocol Kills, the FormerFedsGroup Freedom Foundation, and American Frontline Nurses are collecting and documenting stories

Illinois taxpayers are set to be hit with a billion-dollar bill providing healthcare benefits to newly arrived illegal aliens in the state thanks to Gov. J.B. Pritzker (D), according to estimates.
While tens of thousands of illegal aliens continue to be bused to the sanctuary city of Chicago, Illinois, from Texas, Republican lawmakers in the state are sounding the alarm over the economic and social burden that the new arrivals are set to impose on taxpayers.Citing recent analysis from state officials, the lawmakers said taxpayers will be left holding the bill when nearly 110,000 additional illegal aliens sign up for taxpayer-subsidized healthcare benefits next year.

A billionaire Democrat donor, sheltering Hunter Biden amid the brewing storm of his criminal probe, received multi-million-dollar federal contracts and offered a $93,000 job to the President’s niece, records reveal.
Hunter Biden has been spotted hiding away at a $50 million Santa Ynez, California vineyard estate owned by Joe Kiani, a top donor to his father’s campaigns – contrary to recent reports he was camping out at the White House ahead of a pivotal meeting between his lawyers and federal prosecutors probing his business dealings.
It is not the first time Kiani, described by Joe Biden in 2018 as ‘one of my closest friends’,

Former President Donald Trump criticized President Joe Biden for being worse than “the five worst presidents in American history” combined as Biden prepares to officially launch his 2024 reelection campaign.
During a Monday White House event, Biden told reporters he would inform the American public “real soon” about his reelection plans.“I told you I’m planning on running. I’ll let you know real soon,” Biden said. His remarks came amid speculation that Biden could announce his reelection effort as soon as this week.
In a scathing statement, Trump attacked Biden for his track record on the economy and foreign policy, among other things.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. continues to give the Democrat establishment fits, and it’s wonderful to see. (snip) On Sunday, in what must be a first for a Democrat presidential candidate, RFK even appeared on SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Sunday and took the occasion to denounce the Democrat establishment’s efforts to sabotage his candidacy and make sure that Old Joe Biden coasts to renomination.
Kennedy slammed the Democratic National Committee for having “rigged” the primary system in several ways, chiefly by ruling out the possibility of debates.
