In a historic election, the liberal judge Janet Protasiewicz is projected to win her race for a seat on Wisconsin’s supreme court. Her win will flip the ideological balance of the state’s highest court, which has been controlled by a conservative majority for 15 years.
Elections and democracy observers have called this election the most consequential one of the year, with abortion rights, redistricting and election rules at stake. The race pitted Protasiewicz, a Milwaukee circuit court judge and former prosecutor, against Dan Kelly, a former Wisconsin supreme court justice with ties to election deniers and the far right.
Protasiewicz will replace the conservative justice Patience Roggensack on 1 August;

Of course, she did. We all knew the election was stolen before election day. The most consequential because now the left can keep permanent control over the entire state and ramrod every issue they want through no problem.

Sounds like the Republicans shot themselves in the foot by going with someone who could easily be framed as an extremist, although the Democrat was the true extremist.

Probably massive election fraud.....and she will be certain to make sure that no cases are ever taken to investigate vote fraud in the state.

We may have to face the reality that it is NOT stolen elections - but that we have indeed, reached that tipping point of no return. We ain't goin' back, and I shudder thinking of 10 years from here.

Voters in Wisconsin and Chicago are just plain stupid.

Add Wisconsin as another state that is gone. Republicans will never be able to win another statewide race there again.

Stop blaming election theft.
Put the blame where it belongs.
A: the voters
And
B: a political party who won't play by the new rules.

What an outstanding article by an obviously unbiased reporter. "The race pitted Protasiewicz, a Milwaukee circuit court judge and former prosecutor, against Dan Kelly, a former Wisconsin supreme court justice with ties to election deniers and the far right." Got any opinions there, Betsy? This is where I stopped reading and gave up on Wisconsin completely. It's time to start ceding some of these states, or parts of them, to Canada.

Wisconsin is now lost. I suggest trading with Canada. They get Minnesota and Wisconsin and we get Alberta.

And yet I am listening to local talk radio here in the DC/MD/VA metro area and of course the topic is Trump;s indictment. The conservative morning show, Larry O'Connor on www.wmal.com. HIs co-host Patrice and earlier regular Cal (Dinosaur) Thomas, were saying that we shouldn't do to the Left what was done to Trump and we have to fight back by winning elections. Bwahahahahaha

An urgent wake up call. If the Republican Party refuses to play by the new rules, we must get a new party.

"with ties to election deniers" - The guy who affirmed that there was gross election fraud was defeated by a leftist who denies there was fraud. I wonder if there was some cheating in that election.

There goes the neighborhood.
I was in Wisconsin (Green Bay area) and there were as many signs for the elected justice as for the Republican opponent. All sorts of out of state money is sent in for even local races. Even abortion was the major issue in the Green Bay mayor race, a topic that has nothing that the city can do about except perhaps a zoning case. Mayors are supposed to be sure that the potholes are fixed and the snow is plowed.

Hmmm, sounds like Illinois, particularly Chicago, has nothing on Wisconsin. What a whimsical notion that elections are in any way or form "fair" anymore.
Yeah, I believe all these voters in more and more elections want to see criminals released from jail, blm/antifa riots whenever convenient for leftist turds around the country, soaring inflation, the wonderful prospect of eating bugs instead of meat, using EVs instead of reliable combustion engines, our children being molested by teachers, and, well, you get the idea. sarc/

This is not a great outcome...but...sometimes when moving forward...you have to take one step back...and then go forward...soros won another one with his money...but at least WE know who bought this election...it's out in the open thanks to Bragg of New York...bragging...bragging...time to check donations of all state officials...and expose soros for who he is...a left over nazi...trained by hitler's forces...and a man who betrayed his jewish neighbors by rating them out....

Keep voting harder, guys. That's it. It's the voter's faults. Everybody agrees with the Democrats, who are perfect, on message and right on the issues. Vote, vote vote. That's the ticket.

One more comment. I have no idea if it is true but it is said that Janet Protasiewicz had a nasty life/marriage issue but because she is a Democrat, it was overlooked. All is good for being liberal. . .
