Brazil’s recently inaugurated leftist President Lula Ignacio Da Silva has initiated a process of taking back guns from citizens after a surge in sales toward the end of Jair Bolsonaro’s presidency.
The Wall Street Journal detailed in a report on Tuesday how Lula has already reversed looser gun restrictions from the Bolsonaro era and plans to force owners to register their firearms or face arrest.
“It’s time to put down your weapons, weapons that should never have been wielded,” Lula said after winning last year’s presidential election in contentious circumstances. “Guns kill and we choose life.” Lula has now given owners an ultimatum of March 31 to bring their guns to

President Biden recently issued an executive order entitled “Further Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities Through the Federal Government.” Make no mistake: this executive order has the effect of pushing us backward toward a racially divided nation, just like the good old days.
What a shame. Not thirty years ago, a very different spirit animated civil rights. Call it the Martin Luther King vision. Dr. King’s vision was fundamentally the Christian one, where every person has dignity, where racism is a sin, where race matters not at all compared to character.
Dr. King held the moral high ground here. His vision ushered in

Before the stumbling Biden franchise took the CEO position of America, I had witnessed two other corrupt, but extremely effective criminal regimes in my lifetime. The Bushs, whose corruption is notable because of the depth of its roots and longevity, and the Clintons, for their open disregard for human life and the outright slimy nature in which they conduct business.
Joe Biden and his family have consistently had one goal and one goal only, do whatever is best for them utilizing power of position and name recognition. Along the way they, along with every other liberal have gained an invaluable ally in the MSM. Freedom of the press

Last week another shoe dropped on the Biden crime family. James Comer, chairman of the committee investigating the most disturbing scandal in the history of the White House finally received the records from a bank – one of twelve – that the Bidens have used to stash their payoffs from China’s Communist dictatorship. Comer had previously been stone-walled for two years by the corrupt and incompetent Biden Treasury head, Janet Yellen.
This first Biden bank record to be surrendered showed that three members of the Biden family including Beau Biden’s widow Hallie

The news was jarring to those who had come to regard Volodymyr Zelensky as a warrior for freedom, standing unflinchingly against a sinister, unscrupulous and powerful foe: in December, he signed a decree banning the Church to which millions of Ukrainians belong, the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate. Last Sunday, thousands of those Ukrainians gathered outside the Church’s headquarters, the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra monastery, to pray and show their support for the monks whom Zelensky has ordered to vacate the premises. This is the new Churchill? A man who evicts monks from their monastery

Roughly two years ago, President Biden issued an executive order that went relatively unnoticed and has been mostly forgotten by now, but which endangers the integrity of our elections.
Executive Order 14019 instructs federal agencies, some of which are unrelated to election administration, to collaborate with external private groups to “promote voter registration and voter participation.”
As innocuous as this sounds on its face, the White House is emulating billionaire Mark Zuckerberg’s efforts to influence the 2020 election and turning it into a publicly-funded operation. That’s right: who needs Zuckerbucks when taxpayers like you can fund Democrat voter outreach?
And before you say that’s unconstitutional, since when has that mattered

Hot on the heels of news that Manhattan’s DA, Alvin Bragg, is planning to charge Donald Trump for using private funds to silence a woman who later admitted that she never had sex with him, the Fulton County prosecutor’s office in Atlanta, Georgia, is going ahead with plans to prosecute Trump and his associates under RICO laws for daring to challenge problematic vote counting in Georgia. Tucker Carlson has warned that, if Democrats get away with using ideological prosecutors to attack our election system, the great American experiment is over.
I won’t rehash Alvin Bragg’s proposed Trump indictment.

After President Biden claimed allegations of family payments from Hunter Biden’s business associate are "not true," one China expert and author has signaled an "admission of corruption" from the First Family.
"The spokesperson for Hunter Biden's legal team said that, oh, this is okay because this was seed money, good faith seed money," Gatestone Institute senior fellow Gordon Chang said on "Mornings with Maria" Monday. "Now, in these types of transactions, nobody pays millions of dollars without a contract."
On Thursday, GOP lawmakers on the House Oversight Committee revealed that they had obtained bank documents showing that the president's son, Hunter, the president's brother, Jim, and Hallie Biden, the widow of

Happy Tuesday, dear Kruiser Morning Briefing friends. (Snip) We’re still reeling as a nation from the fact that the man who currently occupies the Oval Office has the mental capacity of a diminished gnat. If we’re being honest with each other — and we always are here — Joe Biden was never the sharpest tool in the shed. A lot of what we’ve been witnessing since Jan. 20, 2021, gets attributed to his age but Biden has always been a no-filter loon whose grip on reality is tenuous on his best days.
And he’s always been a liar.
Over the years, many — even conservatives — have called what Biden does

Less than one hour into the City Council’s budget workshop Monday morning, Mayor Frank Hibbard said he was concerned about the direction his colleagues were taking the city, packed his briefcase and resigned from the dais.
The council was discussing about 30 capital projects and a $250 million shortfall for how to pay for them. When his four colleagues agreed that spending $90 million on building a new City Hall and municipal services complex was their top budget priority, Hibbard was the only one to push back.
The mayor called a five minute recess. When they reconvened, Hibbard explained what he described as one of the hardest decisions

Perhaps the reason there are so many “conspiracy theories” is because individuals are seeking to explain phenomena that they find difficult to understand or accept. The tide of homelessness, the perceived betrayal of the institutions etc. are like Egyptian pyramids risen suddenly on the plain. Conspiracy requires two essential ingredients to exist: mystery and mistrust. If you see a familiar kind of deer in the woods it doesn’t set your mind churning. But if you see something you never saw before — or didn’t even think possible — when no existing theory of causation seems to fit, then you get to thinking up new ones.
Mistrust has been rising

Leaks have been flying for about a week that Donald Trump is about to be indicted by a Manhattan grand jury -- for improperly accounting for a payment made to Stormy Daniels. District Attorney Alvin Bragg seems to be slowing things down a bit, claiming they still need to hear from another witness. However, I think he’s committed at this point. He let the leak happen. Now he can’t back out. The Democratic Party’s radical base will fly into a fit of rage if they are denied a Trump indictment. I have a question for DA Bragg: Have you thought this out?
The Dems should have studied history in school
