A group of drag queens and activists dressed in black and white showed up on Friday at the Fayetteville Public Library in Fayetteville, Arkansas, to protest actor-writer Kirk Cameron’s story time event for families and children, according to book publisher Brave Books, whose staff were present at the reading. The drag queens blocked the views of some families and children and distracted others from the book reading and remarks from the stage, said Brave Books. According to Fox News, a spokesperson for Bragg spoke with Fox News Digital, saying that his office will not be intimidated by the GOP. Hilariously, the response from Bragg’s office is about as hypocritical as it gets:

As a non-coffee drinker in a coffee-obsessed world, I’m pleased to know that at least in this case, I’m not a genetically-coded “inherently racist” white supremacist, by virtue of my whiteness. Anyway, a recent idiotic article posted on Afru.com makes the argument that drinking coffee perpetuates white supremacy. Yeah. The ridiculous piece suggests that because coffee was “created by black people,” if you enjoy drinking the stuff, you’re “helping an industry built on racism.”
