Biden: Worse than Jimmy Carter

There are striking parallels -- and contrasts -- between Jimmy Carter’s leadership during the 1970s Oil Crisis and Joe Biden’s initiatives during the current “Climate” Crisis. The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) instigated the 1973 crisis in U.S. gasoline prices that sparked inflation, and Jimmy Carter responded by supporting conservation and alternative energy plans (as well as a shift to “plentiful coal”). In contrast, Joe Biden seeded current fuel price inflation with wasteful overspending and attacks on oil production, and embraces yet more inefficient spending on renewable manufacturing projects that accelerate pollution and increase American vulnerability to China and Russia.

Biden the worst President to ever be inaugurated. That is a given.

Consider the Democ'RAT presidents elected since 1960:
J.F. Kennedy, 'Lyin' Lyndon' Johnson, 'Jimmah' Carter, 'The HornDog' Clinton, 'Zero' Obama, 'The HairSniffer' Biden.
Each one a worse president than the one before.

Nixon was the President at the beginning of the oil crisis. Then Gerald Ford was President from late
Aug., 1974 until Jan. 20, 1977.

We have a President who turns and walks away if anyone dares asks him a hard question.
He also spends way too much time vacationing in Delaware.
Plus, he leveraged his vice presidency to become wealthy.
On top of all that, he lies at the drop of a hat.

Those side by side pictures! Veggie looks the vacant husk he is. But Carter! King Tut looked more alive after millenia.

President Carter loved this country with a capitol LOVE. That was never in question. I always hated that it was on his watch that the Department of Education was un-clustered from the Health, Education and Welfare cabinet secretariat. Big Mistake. That gave the crooked teacher unions their heft. Also it made every student a bus rider. (I loved it that his mama was a lot more outspoken than he.)

I agree with poster #6 that Jimmy Carter loved the USA.
It is unfortunate for himself and all of us that he didn't make a career of building homes for Habitat for Humanity when he left the US Navy. His decision making as President seemed to always be very wrong.
However, I am certain that Joe Biden hates America and is intentionally out to harm our culture and way of life.

Both are bad but the Biden agenda, which is really being controlled by others is downright evil. I don't think our country can survive much longer with an economy out of control, billions being spent to fight a proxy war with Russia risking nuclear war, the transgender agenda, the war on free speech, the anti-white agenda, reckless spending (held in check for the next 2 years, thanks to the midterms the Republicans "lost"), political prisoners, the weaponization of the DOJ and FBI against political enemies, and a doddering, senile President.

Carter is directly responsible for the modern concept of Islamic terroris, including 9/11.
He is also responsible for running the economy into the ground and leaving many old people eating cat food to survive.
We wouldn't have survived a second term. We were supper lucky to have Reagan right after him to clean up and MAGA.

Islamic terror against Israel was a going concern long before Carter became president.
Many conservatives seem to believe that Carter enabled the radical takeover in Iran, but IMO he was caught between a rock and a hard place. The Shah was widely despised by his own people and suffered from terminal cancer. We gave him refuge and medical treatment here in the U.S., and there was really nothing more we could do. The Islamic takeover in Iran would have taken place under the tenure of any president, including RR..
And Carter had the good sense to appoint Paul Volcker to the Fed, whose efforts were instrumental in helping Reagan to tame the inflation of that era.
Carter was in over his head and made what Yogi Berra would call too many "wrong mistakes", but he did not hate his country and weaponize the Deep State as Obama and his stooge Biden have done. It' not fair to put Biden's and Carter's names in the same headline or sentence.

I would have thought that Carter would have requested somebody like Bubba Clinton to do the honors. If we know one thing about Carter, it is that he was all about appearances. I do not believe he would want the word stumbler/stammerer to give any kind of eulogy.

I will grant that Carter loved his country in the sense that he did not deliberately try to damage it, unlike the cabal pulling the strings on the Biden husk. In 1976, any Democrat would have been elected Pres, so close to the resignation of Nixon. Carter's incompetence and unwillingness to take advice caused problems to snowball, and he wouldn't and/or couldn't even try to solve them
I agree with #11; the Shah was a dictator, but he was OUR style of dictator. You can't always pick and choose your international 'friends'/allies. He was not liked at home, but I would take 100 Shahs over one Ayatollah.

# 13 - I appreciate your remarks. The point I was trying to make is that (IMO) the Shah's regime was unsustainable, and that little.to nothing could have been done to prevent the advent of Khomeini.

1) we should not have taken in the shah.
2) Carter taught Arafat how to manipulate the western press and diplomats to turn the PLO from a hated terrorist organization into some sort of bizarre freedom fighters and made Israel the bad guys every time they murdered an Israeli.
3) Carter then sat on his thumb for 400+ days and showed they can hold an entire nation powerless.
