In his “V for Vendetta” raging September speech in Philadelphia, President Joe Biden denounced “an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic.” His Department of Homeland Security and FBI are ramping up crackdowns on “domestic violent extremists.” But federal brutality and wrongful killings spawned the extremism that politicians seek to exterminate. According to a DHS official, “The modern-day militia movement owes its existence to Waco.” Thirty years ago Tuesday — Feb. 28, 1993 — 76 federal agents assaulted the peaceful residents of a ramshackle, sprawling wooden home in Waco, Texas. The result was “the deadliest U.S. government action on American soil since the 1890 massacre at Wounded Knee,”

Didn’t “authorities” also say that children were being molested? There’s no mention of that in this article but I seem to remember that being part of the reason they wanted to arrest Koresh. I’m not saying that was true, just part of the bs we were told during those 83 days.

There was no child molestation. They were the parents of those kids. Also, the gun charges were a fraud. One of the guys was a gun dealer that stocked, bought, and sold guns. The local sheriff should have handled the entire affair, but the FBI and ATF wanted to use shock and awe, military force. They filmed it so they could see themselves later. It was not a raid. It was the Massacre at Waco!

This action by ATF and FBI is truly one of the most sordid acts of the American government in history! Yes, right next to the Wounded Knee massacre!!
Don’t think for a second that it cannot happen again! And again… Add Ruby Ridge into the mix and you should be afraid! Be very afraid!

I remember Janet Reno had to take the blame for this fiasco. ATF's hands were tied during the siege on the compound, so she sent in the feebs. One thing article fails to mention is the subsequent bombing of the Murrah Bldg in OkC by McVey and Nichols a year later (IIRC). They were targeting the FBI branch office here.

It may fuel extremism. But what it surely proves is that you cannot EVER trust the government or any agency of the Government.

Waco is where Janet Sterno got her name. They figured they had to do something, so they did something. At least Al Gore learned something important from David Koresh. Fanaticism.

Yeah, killing a bunch of innocent women and children has a tendency to do that.

Reno was one of those prosecutors of that era that saw mass child molestation everywhere. Innocent pre-school teacher's and others were targeted. Incredible accusations were made like animal sacrifices, kids being forced to have sex with all the teachers, and animals, at one school they said that giraffe's were involved. Nobody involved in the prosecution stopped to think about that one? It was kind of like the mass insanity going on now that teaches that exposing babies to sexual activity is now a good thing.
I remember that Reno preached about needing to "rescue" the children, and, while Koresch could have been picked up and questioned during his trips to town, Reno and the FBI took another route and burned all those kids to death?
Reading the history of botched FBI raids in the article, the resulting deaths and the lack of any justice for the victims or punishment for the perpetrators, how can it be "crazy" to suggest that the FBI set up the Whitmer "kidnapping?" Corrupt Democrats and the FBI choreographing the Jan6Th "Insurrection?" Preposterous! They have done what they always do...Talk loud, talk fast, repeat, repeat, repeat, and history is rewritten with no justice for the innocent once again.

Botched, and costly in terms of innocent human lives. Pretty much like every leftist program or activity.

The extremists are the ones who continue to support the gestapo who did this. I have shed no tears over the feds who assumed room temperature.

And the ATF had the gall to raise their flag after burning the place to the ground. A real "Iwo Jima " moment the scene is still out there on the internet.

I remember. After the Davidians were burned to death, the ground was scrapped to eliminate any inconvenient evidence. I also remember Kennedy, Ruby Ridge, Oklahoma (cop executed for seeing too much), 9-11?, Trump Russia collusion, Biden China treason, Ukraine back-channelling, stolen 2020 election, Covid-19 vaccines, and J6. You might call me an extremist because I don't believe a damn thing the government tells me anymore.
