Don’t expect boasts of “We’re No. 1” from the White House or Wilmington, but that doesn’t diminish the singular, ah, achievement. Both Bidens have earned their brushes with infamy.
Courtesy of Fox News, here’s a headline for the ages: “Biden, Hunter make presidential history as first father-son duo under separate investigations.” The president paid his dues with his serially reckless handling of classified information, with the added bonus that the gentle probe of him inadvertently draws a comparison to how roughly Donald Trump is being treated by the same Department of Justice. When it came to the supposedly secret documents Biden had scattered around like so much birdseed, the feds

The embarrassing revelation earlier in the week that the DOJ allowed private citizens (lawyers) to conduct the additional search for classified documents is the reason the DOJ conducted the Friday search. It's not the job of private citizen contractors to conduct such sensitive searches. That by itself is a major scandal.

The "scandal" is that they let the private(and white-house) Lawyers do the search...claim NOTHING was found, and only THEN sent a search team.
Which found to their Surprise BIDEN and his Teams of both public and private Lawyers had LIED!. They either didn't search at all, or didn't practice due diligence, they and Biden, as well as his spokespeople Lied and obstructed Justice by doing so, from the megaphones of the Govt itself, giving their "Word as a Biden". Joe seems to think that he could Hillary his way out of this...deny any documents until the statute of limitations runs out, cases are closed due to lack of evidence, then "Suddenly Find" a stack of long sought documents just sitting on a table in the Westwing.
In an empire where plausible deniability is de rigueur, this denial is not just implausible, or improbable...it is empirically impossible.

Goodwin thinks Joe must have been the mastermind, but since Joe says Hunter is the smartest man he knows, then Hunter must be the mastermind and Joe the facilitator in chief. The whole damn family, including Jill and Joe's sister need to be in jail!

If it comes to a trial and his lawyers are subpoenaed can they refuse to testify because of lawyer client privilege?

The MSM is attempting to slow walk or cover up the Biden documents scandal. For the Bidens, so far, so good. Their toady Merrick Garland has been forced to name a special council to investigate. Hmm, the council sets up an office, hires 100 attorneys, clerks, and public relation types and the sets to work. That will take six months. Then with the interviews and press conferences, federal holidays, bad weather, misplaced evidence, well, it should be wrapped up by January 2025. Democrats and RINOs thank the council for all the hard work. Tickets to the inauguration of the Democrat president are on their desks.

Michael Goodwin gets it. (Why he remains a Dim is a mystery.)
FTA: “ Joe and Hunter clearly were in cahoots on the influence-peddling scam that netted the family tens of millions of dollars. In fact, the more we learn, the more convinced I am that Joe’s role has been underestimated.
I believe the full truth, if we ever get it, will show that Joe was the mastermind and Hunter was the frontman and conduit for the payoffs. That’s the only arrangement that explains both the extraordinary amounts of money involved and why Joe still maintains the ridiculous lie he never even talked to Hunter about his son’s business.”
Joe’s role “underestimated.” Is he REALLY as dumb as he portrays himself? While he’s no Rhodes Scholar, what he lacks in brains is trumped by his level of corruption.

The real scandal is Biden and his family acting as foreign agents just to get their hands on some of the bazillions of dollars coming out of the Ukraine piggy-bank.

Can any Republican malfeasance even in aggregate since Nixon even come close to the Himalayan massif of Democrat skullduggery since Kennedy?
They are truly without exaggeration a criminal racket made up to look like a political party.
To disassemble President Biden’s criminality, take it to court, put him away, and then move backward through time to President Obama’s administration, engulfing Secretary Clinton, and reappraising the Clinton administration as an act of stable-cleaning, and in the process deconstructing the US security apparatus institution by institution— the DOJ, the DOD, the FBI, the NSA, the CIA, and all the other unelected federal fiefdoms until arriving at the fundamental structures of government, leaving only domestic maintenance, foreign affairs, and national defense as its essential purview, is the only solution.
A streamlined and highly functional management apparatus, allowing the practical values of the original constitutional republic to reestablish themselves.
The status quo is so obviously irrational and unsustainable it’s no wonder that only losers and crooks go into Democrat politics.
The reason Republican corruption is so fractional by comparison is because Republicans and conservatives anecdotally don’t seem to carry their party affiliation as a kind of moral identity; whereas Democrats— liberals, neo-Marxists— require that self-righteous moral preening aligned with “climate change,” wokeness, issues of racial and gender identity— to define the arc of their lives, and provide the ethical perimeters of their policies, being empty of the anchors of faith and good citizenship, both.
Civics, factual history, faith in the infinity of your choice define a healthy polity.
About time we send the Democrats the way of the Whigs and get on with it.
The collectivist paradigm has never and will never do anything but kill people.

I have yet to read every article on this latest batch of documents, some of which go back to Joe’s days in the senate, so I don’t know how far back those documents go or if anyone has released that information. But Joe started in the senate in 1973 so it’s possible that his theft and abuse of classified material goes back to when Hunter was just a kid.
I agree with Goodwin that Joe is the mastermind - which would explain why Hunter stated in an email to his sister that he was forced to give half of his income to Joe.
With this latest batch, it’s time for some democrat leaders to have the Nixon talk with Joe and force him to resign. If they don’t, they will soon be dealing with the documents found in Hunter’s, Jim’s, Frank’s and Valerie’s houses.

FTA: "Then it fell to Hunter and Joe’s brother Jim to make the pitches to them, with a promise that dear old dad was onboard and would deliver help, protection, favoritism, a good word — whatever was needed." How would a Senator and/or VP have the ability to provide these services? Obviously he had to have help to do this from within the government, possibly a president or members in the CIA or other alphabet agencies.

There has been very little said so far about what the content of these documents are other than a comment that they were related to ‘China and Ukraine’. As VP he was not authorized to declassify them or be in possession of them. There was a reason. I believe he had them long before he left office and that Hunter had full access to them.

FTA - "Ironically, Garland might be stumbling into that very scenario because of Joe’s mishandling of classified documents. If special counsel Robert Hur sees any connection between the documents and the influence-peddling schemes, he would be compelled to merge the two cases — which could doom the Biden presidency."
The Garlic Man understands the position he just put himself in. We'll soon see if he has the nuts to prosecute the biden crime family. Or will the Garlic Man recuse himself from the case.
Now we know why Klain and Anita Dunn covered this matter up to conceal this matter from the msm and the voters until after the November mid-terms in order to defuse the red wave. Biden-gate is in full view now.

The joke is on Joe. Instead of retiring with millions and millions of dollars to his home on the beach and basking in the glow of having been "elected" POTUS, he is now a disgraced fool who hasn't a clue and the Bidens won't be anybody's party guests. When the family fortune is officially declared stolen, Hunter won't get it either. The best laid plans of mice and men...
