January 6 Committee Recommends Trump Face
Criminal Charges

The January 6 committee on Monday referred former president Donald Trump to the Department of Justice for prosecution on four charges related to his conduct leading up to and during the riot that occurred in the Capitol in the wake of his defeat in the 2020 presidential election. The referrals include obstruction of an official proceeding, conspiracy to defraud the U.S., making a false statement, and inciting an insurrection, the last of which could disqualify Trump from holding public office in the future. Trump attempted to “disrupt the peaceful transition of power” in a grave betrayal of duty as outlined in the “take care” clause of the Constitution and in a “crime

I could not listen to this Hollywood-produced spectacle very long. I watched as Nixon was smeared forever worldwide and any good he did as President buried under accusations for things he never did. We said history would recalibrate things and the truth would prevail. We watched the Clintons get away with everything. We said history would not be kind to them. Unfortunately, the history books, PBS documentaries and movies are made by Democrats and worse. Now this and I can barely take all the good Trump did being ignored by the Church and self-serving Republican Party establishment barely defending him.

They hate Trump more than they love/respect the rule of law. The very structure of this committee was of that of an inquisition considering, eg, their denial of the accused’s right to be heard in a fair and impartial manner. It’s been a very destructive episode.

My understanding is the "committee" wasn't legally formed since the Republicans weren't allowed to select their own representatives. So whatever they recommend isn't valid. But you can be sure the DOJ won't care about that and will go ahead and prosecute anyway. Welcome to the USSA.

Although I knew this was coming it still infuriates me because these no good degenerates know these are bogus charges. This is nothing but the worst kind of political persecution. Their motivation is pretty clear, dirty up Trump so he cannot run. They know they cannot beat his list of accomplishments so the only strategy is to get rid of him. I guess we should be thankful they did not JFK him, but nothing they do would surprise me. I do hope President Trump’s base makes it clear to these dishonest fools that they are treading on very thin ice. It’s time someone put the fear of the Lord into them. On January 6th 2021, masked agitators appeared on the Capitol grounds with weaponry, gas masks, and other expensive gear at about the same time a pipe bomb was discovered in a nearby RNC building. The ensuing chaos of that day was blamed on Donald Trump and his supporters. The violence was called an "insurrection," and was taken so seriously by federal law enforcement, some may still be on the run. But something far more irresponsible, and far more dangerous to Americans took place a couple of weeks later. We can hope the new House will get some answers. While Dems try to blame Trump, they're oddly disinterested in the far more dangerous events set in motion by our current president. On January 20, 2021, Joe Biden's first day in office, the American people heard him invite illegal aliens from around the world to come to the US "to be heard." His invitation to enter the United States illegally has led to 5 million new illegal alien arrivals so far, already released into our country, with no end in sight. We do not know who these people are, nor do we know the criminal backgrounds of everyone allowed into our country. The same administration and MSM incensed over Americans wandering inside the Capitol building on January 6, (some after being waived in by police) doesn't consider the chaos, crime, drugs and human trafficking Biden's "invitation" has brought into our country to be worth discussing. Which tells us what happens to Americans isn't a cause for concern.

The question in the title needs, I believe, critical examination. Why DOES the Left hate Trump so much? The answer, as usual, can largely be found by analyzing history. But first. Do they hate him because the average price of a gallon of gas in his administration was far lower than under Biden? Is it because inflation was low (around 2%) and trending downward? Is it that the USA was energy independent and didn’t need to beg our enemies for oil, deplete our strategic oil reserve or sell it to China? Is it because black and Hispanic unemployment was lower than at any time in history?

Harvard Law School Professor Alan Dershowitz denounced the Jan. 6 committee as a “kangaroo court” that produced a worthless report that should be “thrown in the wastebasket.” In an interview Monday evening on Newsmax TV, the eminent lawyer said that “not only is [the Justice Department] not obligated to do anything, it is obligated not to do anything” in response to the panel’s recommendations Monday that former President Donald Trump be prosecuted. According to Mr. Dershowitz, the panel operated against the spirit of one of only two civil-liberties provisions in the original Constitution,

The University revealed the plan in May, and wants to remove the words from its IT systems and websites, with grandfather, brave and master are also on the list. The Elimination of Harmful Language Initiative will also aim to educate people about the impact that 'racist, violent and biased' words have. It has listed 10 sections where 'harmful' language can occur under the headings:

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) said Monday he supports bringing Republican House business to a halt until as late as March next year if it means electing someone besides House GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) to be speaker. Gaetz, one of five outspoken opponents of McCarthy, told Charlie Kirk in an interview he would rather wait weeks and have “sort of a turbulent takeoff” than have McCarthy be speaker. “I’m saying we could see the cherry blossoms bloom and not have a speaker. I hope it doesn’t come to that,” Gaetz said, in reference to the popular flower in D.C. that blooms annually around the end of March.
