As we reported earlier, Jill Biden was at the NFC Championship game between the Philadelphia Eagles and the San Francisco 49ers. But she wasn’t with Joe Biden. She was sitting with Roger Goodell, the commissioner of the NFL.
Joe Biden went to their home in Wilmington on Sunday afternoon after spending most of the weekend in Camp David as I reported, raising questions as to why was he only going there for the evening when presumably he’s just heading back to the White House on Monday.
I’m surprised that she’s back given that she was booed the last time that she was there. That may explain why Joe Biden wouldn’t show up

A handful of Republicans could save Rep. Ilhan Omar’s, D-Minn., seat on the House Foreign Affairs Committee as Speaker Kevin McCarthy tries to fulfill his promise to eject her over what he described as antisemitic remarks. McCarthy is meeting with holdouts Monday in an effort to persuade them to vote for his resolution to give Omar the boot over her repeated comments against Israel that she has since apologized for.
Last week, McCarthy unilaterally removed Reps. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., and Eric Swalwell, D-Calif., from the House Intelligence Committee, a select committee, citing national security concerns.

"The View" co-host Whoopi Goldberg wondered on Monday if "we need to see White people get beat up" to see meaningful police reform before clarifying that she was "not suggesting that" following the death of Tyre Nichols.
"Do we need to see White people also get beat before anybody will do anything? I’m not suggesting that. So don’t write us and tell me what a racist I am. I’m just asking is that what people have to see in order to wake up and realize this affects us all?" Goldberg asked.

Donald Trump's role in hush money payments to porn star Stormy Daniels will be under the microscope of a grand jury today, it was reported on Monday afternoon.
Prosecutors in Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg's office are laying out their case, which could potentially lead to criminal charges, according to the New York Times. She claims to have slept with Trump in 2006, which the former president denies. He was married to former First Lady Melania Trump, who had given birth to their son Barron less than six months before their brief fling. Trump's former personal lawyer Michael Cohen previously admitted to paying $130,000

President Joe Biden on Monday promoted electric vehicles again as part of his administration’s push for green energy, smiling gleefully in an EV with a mask hanging underneath his chin.
“On my watch, the great American road trip is going to be fully electrified. And now, through a tax credit, you can get up to $7,500 on a new electric vehicle,” Biden said alongside an accompanying image, showing the president smiling in a Hummer EV. The image shows Biden with a mask under his chin and an individual in the passenger seat who remained masked up: (Tweet)

Firefighters used 6,000 gallons of water to extinguish a Tesla Model S that spontaneously burst into flames on a busy highway outside of Sacramento on Saturday.
The driver, who was not injured, was on Highway 50 in Rancho Cordova at around 3pm when smoke started to come out from the front of the car.
Photos of the luxury car showed the vehicle completely totaled with the front end of completely burnt.
Officials responded to the scene with two fire engines and a water tender. The Metro Fire of Sacramento crew said that nothing was previously wrong with car.

On Wednesday, America will kick off another black history month. This year’s theme is black resistance. Among the 9 people featured in the official poster are Angela Davis and Malcolm X — not Martin Luther King or Clarence Thomas, men who made America better, but a pair of thugs.
Davis is the communist who in August 1970 surreptitiously armed three murder defendants which led to a shootout with the police that left the judge and the three gunmen dead.
Malcolm X was an ex-convict who once was the face of the Nation of Islam, a black supremacist church. When he left it, the church sent assassins who killed him.

Border crossers, who arrived in New York City on buses from Texas, are refusing to leave a luxury Manhattan hotel that city officials had placed them in.
Over the weekend, city officials sought to move migrants out of the Watson Hotel in the Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood of Manhattan and to the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal where Mayor Eric Adams has constructed a massive shelter for new arrivals.
Many of the border crossers staying at the Watson Hotel, paid for by taxpayers, are refusing to leave and have instead set up a homeless encampment outside the hotel. There, they are demanding the city “cancel rent” and provide them with “permanent homes.” (Tweet)

The newly selected regime heading up Arizona’s top statewide offices is now targeting Kari Lake with potential felony charges for speaking out against the rigged election in Arizona.
Questionably elected Arizona Secretary of State Adrian Fontes, a former lawyer for Mexican drug cartels, sent out a new letter on Monday, asking questionably elected Attorney General Kris Mayes to “investigate and take appropriate enforcement action against Kari Lake” for sounding the alarm about the stolen 2022 Election.
This comes just TWO DAYS before Kari Lake’s Arizona Court of Appeals is set to hold a February 1 conference in Kari Lake’s lawsuit contesting the stolen Midterm Election.

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot was blasted over a video of her dancing on the streets, amid continued violent crime and the loss of more flagship stores on the city's 'Magnificent Mile' shopping district that now sits one third empty.
Lightfoot, who is just four weeks shy of what polls have shown are an uphill Democratic primary battle with several opponents, was seen dancing at the city's Lunar New Year parade Sunday along to a drumline.
It caused one Twitter user to say: 'Since [Lightfoot]'s term began, Chicago has suffered 2,278 homicides and over 9,000 shot. Since January 1, the city has endured 41 homicides and 194 shot.

It's not news, necessarily, that CNN is not keeping up with the post-Trump administration times we live in — despite a change in course directed by new boss Chris Licht following a merger between CNN's parent company and Discovery. But when tanking ratings continue to sink to levels not seen in nearly a decade, there's bound to be some talk of whether the network is salvageable at all.
Enter a new dispatch from TheWrap noting CNN "notched its lowest ratings in nine years across all its day parts for the week of Jan. 16 through Jan. 22, 2023," per ratings data from Nielsen: "just 444,000 viewers in primetime,

The parents of Tyre Nichols, 29, who died following a brutal beating at the hands of Memphis police, will be attending President Joe Biden’s State of the Union address next month.
Nichols’ mother, RowVaughn Wells, and stepfather Rodney Wells were invited to the exclusive event by the chair of the Congressional Black Caucus, Rep Steven Horsford (D-Nev.). (Video) Nichols’ shocking death is, of course, being used by the left as justification for their progressive anti-police agenda.
On Monday’s broadcast of MSNBC “Morning Joe,” co-host Mika Brzezinski told Horsford that the death of Nichols “was a murder” and asked, “What do you think can be done in Congress
