While many Americans have much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving season, even if Slow Joe Biden is still in charge and the costs of Thanksgiving have risen dramatically under him, there’s one group that’s probably in pretty dismal spirits. That would be the group of prisoners locked up in DC over the January 6th incident, a group that has allegedly been treated horribly in jail.
While many have since forgotten about them, some haven’t and are still willing to draw attention to their plight, with the Columbia Bugle and Tucker Carlson doing so by highlighting the sad case of Chris Worrell. Watch Tucker do so here:

Not a problem, just another archaic article of the Constitution trashed. No facing your accusers or a speedy trial for political prisoners.

The way these people have been treated is shameful.
Hopefully the new House will see to it that they are released.
If nothing else with time served, although they have never been convicted

When men went to war they protected and fought to help each other. These CITIZENS have been thrown in a cell and forgotten. NO ONE is helping them. We are behaving in a pathetic way. We are so afraid of the bullies we are unable to act. Whatever happened to "LET'S ROLL"? I am ashamed of the cowardice of the Americans of today. We allow the dems to intimidate and bully us.

Amen, #6, how can we hope to win in any way when we can't get any traction on the J6 political prisoners?
And btw, "Tucker's useless monologues..."?! Sounds like Tucker scares the left more than a bit.

I have YET to hear from any politician, dem or pubbie, black or white say ANY thing about these prisoners of war. Against all humanity, why haven't "they" investigated, provided the means for these prisoners to get legal assistance? How does a country, such as the USA get away with political persecution; inhumane treatment of "prisoners" held against their will without legal help. As far as I'm concerned all those politicians who have remained silent since J6 are guilty. Ms Cheney...did we ever hear her say anything while she pursued Donald Trump? Nothing from her thin lips. I hope but not encouraged that this congress will act and release these patriots from jail. Keep them in your prayers.

What is really despicable is that it is being done to intimidate other citizens from exercising their basic rights of expression, assembly and petitioning for grievances. The false argument that you cannot use violence for these is even more execrable.

While i am not the biggest Tucker fan, I am glad that he keeps the spotlight on our forgotten J6 victims. I recall how then Fox News host, Greta Van Susteren, provided extensive coverage of the case of Marine Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi, who was in a Mexican prison, and it was Greta's constant drum beating on her nightly show that was IMHO, instrumental in bringing him home. I pray this is the case with our J6 victims.

The DOJ can get away with these atrocities because a large percentage of Americans are clueless about what is going on, as most of the politicians and the media are not talking about it. In addition to the clueless, there are the infuriating, mindless haters who claim this persecution is fine since the J6 prisoners are insurrectionists. Those of us who know what is going on and are not blinded by hate or stupidity are horrified. I’ve written my Senator, Josh Harley-who you’d hope might speak out but hasn’t, and spread the word whenever I can, but haven’t found a way to help these poor people other than prayer.

Re-read this American Thinker article from a few months ago authored by J.B. Shurk which was posted here on L.Com by Hazymac. It summarizes the contents of a December 22, 2021 interview between radio talk show host Dennis Prager and J6 prisoner Jonathan Mellis. It is very gut-wrenching. Very difficult to believe these abuses of human beings are happening right here in America. The democrat party is very ok with this. And just a few weeks ago, America happily elects more democrats to office. Lenin, and Stalin would also approve.
Judge Emmett Sullivan and biden the cheater are here to make sure the J6 political prisoners waste away as their personal poster childs.

Same as what happens in Russia, China and North Korea. Welcome to the new communist democratic party of our new world. It works because 90% of democratic voters are either illiterate or are parasites living off the taxpayers dime. That's a fact. Got it..

I have absolutely no faith the vacuous Kevin McCarthy and the rest of the do nothing republicans will shed a bit of light on the J6 prisoners. Our country, conservative media, so-called human rights organizations, prisoners' rights organizations, THE CATHOLIC CHURCH, other churches, all have willfully and cowardly abandoned with contempt, these political prisoners, citizens of the United States of America. Where were the churches when Ashley Babbitt was murdered? Where was Kevin McCarthy? Jim Jordan? Ted Cruz? And dare I even say, where was Mike Pence? Yeah, they may have made self serving statements, if they even did that, but now nearly two years later, no organized, concerted effort has been made to bring to justice Ashley's killer and to restore basic constitutional and human rights to those languishing in the gulag.
Thank you Tucker Carlson for devoting as much time as you have to Ashley Babbitt, interviewing her husband many times, and to keeping a spotlight on the plight of the the J6 gulag detainees . Others on Newsmax have also tried to keep this issue alive. But other than these guys, not a peep out of the established, well financed republicans. They should be covered in shame for the rest of their careers.

I wrote both my senators and my representative. I heard back from one senator who pretty much sent me a form letter who did not even address the subject. What can we do when the people we elect are spineless jellyfish?

Shame on the Democrats and the DC police. We truly have established that one can hold indefinitely without bail, political prisoners in certain locations within the USA. Shame on us for allowing it. Maybe we need another gathering to demand justice for the 1-6 political prisoners. We ought to be examining and punishing any misbehavior by the DC police during and after the so called "Insurrections", which in reality was a political protest rally that the DC Police went out of control and rioted violently killing two unarmed women.
