New York - A decade after its last election autopsy, the Republican National Committee is moving forward with a new post-election audit designed to examine the GOP’s underwhelming performance in the recent midterms and the party’s broader struggles in the years since former President Donald Trump took power. The report, which will likely take several months to complete, is expected to explore internal concerns about candidate quality, the lack of a clear governing agenda and the party’s unwillingness to embrace early voting, among other issues. There is some disagreement about the exact focus and scope of the upcoming review, but committee members involved in the planning suggest

I'll save them the trouble. The answer to Republican failure is 2 fold: 1) RINOs/GOPe 2) election fraud There, just saved a whole bunch of time and money. As if they didn't already know anyway. The best way to kill something is send it to a committee to research it.

Getting out the vote is not the issue. Exposing the democrats from finding any number of ballots that they need to get their desired outcome during the days and weeks following election day is the issue. Don't know of the Republicans are dumb or naive. Perhaps both.

It's obvious. GOP has become party of Trump. Tens of millions of voters hate Trump and voted against Republican candidates despite record inflation, soaring crime, ruined schools, and a demented president. You can whine about RINOs and the media all you want, but the majority of voters are not going to vote for Trump. If he is the nominee, Dems hold the White House. Look at Georgia, even Walker doesn't want him holding a rally down there because he knows it will bring out more Dem voters. He saved us from Hillary but his time is past.

#2, add to the list the fact that the "young skulls full of mush" that Rush Limbaugh often referred to found in Generation Y ("the Millenials") and Generation Z many of whom are now voting age, are easily duped for lack of true information about how they vote affecting their future society THEY will live in. That demographic and the fact that the party put forth RINOcrats on the 2008 and 2012 ballot is what put NoBama in and his handlers into the driver's seat. The entrenched career government employees provided as much intereference as possible to slow walk, defy, or disobey directives by Mr. Trump. They see themselves as OUR "betters" and work to save U.S. from ourselves, since they KNOW BETTER how to live than the rest of us. They have been indoctrinated, manipulated, and brainwashed by the lack of personal discernment, and are generally opposed to the cultural norms that has provided stability for society and want to create Nirvana, even if it tramples on traditional values, the unique American culture, and ways we have lived in favor of what is counter to that. Until we engage that demographic of persons born in those groups those who fund the chaos in school indoctrination centers, and the music culture of the young to foment revolution, things will not improve. Turning Point USA and other similar groups need our support, but the older demographic that will reliably vote Conservative is aging out and quickly dying away and quickly being replaced. Very few of the Greatest Generation that lived with the hardships of growing up during the Great Depression are left, and the young go along with those who want to print money until the money has no value, and then take money away from hard workers to give to lazy friends.

You can't have a party leader whose implied motto is "My way or the highway" endorsing candidates in States he knows nothing about; e.g., PA. If there's to be victory in 2024, in addition to Trump supporters, we'll need votes from Democrats who voted for Biden, independents who would never vote for Trump, and, yes, RINOS in States like Colorado that otherwise would never elect a Republican. Purity is the virtue of a loser.

A federal appeals court on Thursday overturned a judge's decision to appoint a special watchdog to review documents seized by the FBI from the Florida residence of former President Donald Trump in August as part of a criminal investigation. The Department of Justice had objected to the appointment of that watchdog, known as a special master, by a federal judge in Florida who was nominated to the bench by Trump. The DOJ said the special master appointment delayed DOJ from using the seized documents as part of that probe until they were cleared.

Midterm election turnout among black voters appears to be 25 percent lower than white turnout, marking the lowest share of the black electorate since 2006, a New York Times analysis revealed Wednesday. The low turnout of black voters is a strong indicator Democrats could be losing a key portion of their intersection coalition long heralded by members of the left, such as election denier House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), who has claimed the strategy a “gorgeous mosaic” and “not a cult.” Conclusive numbers have not yet been completely compiled from all 50 states, but an early snapshot of voter data suggests black voter turnout was well below the national average
