As a possible rail way strike looms, the U.S. industry braces for impact.
One of the biggest rail unions rejected a deal earlier this week failing to approve contracts over concerns about demanding schedules and the lack of paid sick time.
Sen. Bill Hagerty (R-TN) is warning American consumers that it is “highly likely” a strike will happen in the midst of the busy holiday season.
“I think it’s highly likely,” Hagerty said, adding “I mean, you hit the nail on the head. The union bosses basically forced their union members to buck up and accept this deal just to get them through the…midterm elections.

Are the Biden/Democrat's policies insane or diabolical??? 11/25/2022
Biden's first act in office was to stop the Keystone pipeline. He has declared war on fossil fuels, and has said, "no more drilling," in order to transition to so-called "Green Energy. "
Today the reported inflation rate is 7.7% down from over 8%, both numbers are far too low as food and energy are no longer used in the calculation. True inflation is closer to 12 or 13%. Most people believe inflation is a measure of increasing prices, however, it is actually a measure of the falling value of the dollar and it's purchasing power.
Since Biden took office, the National Debt has risen from 24T to over 31T in less than two years. With the current inflation rate it is imposable to service the debt.
The current runaway inflation rate is a direct result of the Biden Administration's war of fossil fuels, which they claim is necessary to protect the environment and curb "Global Warming/ Climate Change. This claim is easily proven false by the fact that Biden approved a massive petroleum export facility in the Gulf of Mexico, off the coast of Texas, over the Thanksgiving weekend while no one was looking.
The world runs on fossil fuels and a forced conversion to so-called "Green Energy," in the U.S. is the cause of the current energy shortage and global inflation. In 2020 the US was energy independent, and a net exporter of energy. Today, because of his policies our Commander and Thief goes about the world begging the Saudis, and third world despots, to sell us oil, while we have the largest proven reserves in the world that government policies prevent us from using.
Today, there is a reported global diesel shortage, the US reporting a 30-day supply, the lowest in decades. If supplies run out, the country will come to a complete standstill as everything moves by diesel trucks or diesel electric trains. The electric power supply will fail, though we have spent trillions on "Green Energy," and the people will starve in the dark.

The way Amazon is acting; late shipments, nondeliverable packages and shipping used electronics for new, I'd say the strike will happen and Amazon is practicing for it.

If you're worried about a shortage of toilet paper, I recommend you look at luxebidet.com. It's an add-on bidet feature for existing toilets. I installed one shortly after the last TP freakout began and it cut my need for TP to near zero. Have a look.

Think guns and ammo before toilet paper. That's the only thing that's going to save your butt.

Overwhelming majority of the world’s (now) 8.0 billion people are toilet paperless. I have been on both sides. No big deal.

Why is this not a bigger story?
Getting goods to market requres LOTS of diesel fuel-- shipping it from China to port, moving if off ships, loading it on to trains, taking it to distribution points, breaking it down to load on trucks to take it to all sorts of places in our country, and then smaller delivers to retail outlets.
At EVERY step, diesel fuel is needed in virtually all of the steps! Diesel engines produced after 2010 are required to have DEF to reduce emissions, but it TOO is in short supply.
This has the potential to STOP commerce. The engineers of one union accepted terms with a 24% increase in salary, but what about the other 17 union labor agreements????
Nice work if you can get it... stock up now before panic buying of empty shelves starts anew!
The Boy Scout motto: Be prepared.

So what are the union members going to do when they can not get food or fuel for their families as a result of their own actions?

This is what unions do, this is why they are democrats. Oh, what happened to the deal Biden made with the unions before the elections to avert a strike. You see, that was just another democrat lying to the public. They do it every time. It's all about screwing the people. And where has little Pettie Bootie been, you know, the guy who is the transportation secretary. Guess he's home changing diapers while the country burns. The shear incompetence of the Biden administration is appalling. Not one person, not freakin one, from Biden on down is qualified for their job. Got it.
