Has the GOP Learned Anything After the Midterms?

The congressional midterm elections are thankfully over.
Predictions of a red wave, including by yours truly, didn’t materialize. Instead, it was more of a pink trickle with the GOP flipping the House. The Senate is still up for grabs, with the best outcome for the GOP being a 50-50 split, depending on the Georgia run-off results.
Red wave predictions made sense at the time, given President Biden’s unpopularity and incompetence, leading to a declining America. This includes 40-year high inflation, a recession, open borders, energy shortages, supply chain disruptions, World War III simmering in Ukraine, and a woke culture ruining the lives of children and families.

Here’s my 2 cents worth. I think Covid changed America for good. People got used to staying at home, being told what to do and they will now vote for whoever keeps the free stuff and government checks coming. Keeping Mcconnell and McCarthy in leadership will insure our demise.

This is a good synapsis. First things first. Investigate the voter fraud and then pursue actions to prevent it. Unless we address the priority issue, all debates about candidates are a waste of time and energy.

The Dems are always scouring for voters, instead of developing righteous policies to the benefit of all the people. Johnson glammed onto a welfare program targeting the black community that he said would have them voting democrat for years and years, which worked. Obama/Biden have expanded that program to entice anyone in the world to come here, to the detriment of all of us, and our country as a whole. Democrats are bad people.

Unless and until ballot fraud is fixed, nothing else matters. Sure, the GOP can improve its messaging, etc. -- but if not for ballot fraud, the red wave would have occurred as predicted. If the other team cheats, you don't ask "Why were we outplayed?" while ignoring how cheating affected the game's outcome.

The GOP hasn't but I sure have. There is now no doubt in my mind that the GOP is as corrupt as the Dems. I have my God, my family, my friends and my small community. I do not need, or want, the corrupt American Government. At 75 years of age, I do not need this crapola. There are bigger and better things in store for me. Have a blessed day folks.

I’ve always liked the way this guy writes. It’s a battle of good vs evil. This has been going on since the beginning of time. As Believers we have the promise of life after the grave. What a promise! We must fight for righteousness like never before. The most disturbing thing is the lack of leadership in the churches and it’s pastors. There are a few exceptions; Jack Hibbs & James Dobson come to mind. Revival must come to this great land of ours. It has to begin at home. We can’t simply blame today’s culture & college professors. We must work hard and pray harder. As above poster notes, a spirit of slothfulness has overcome us due to Covid & govt handouts. The debt will be our ruin. CBDC is scary as well. Have a blessed Thanksgiving this year to all my L’dot brothers & sisters.

It’s the STATES, stupid. That where election reforms are needed. Where are those Republican legislatures , particularly in those six “upset” states from ‘20? Why is AZ as inept counting on elections? Grab your legislators and shake them hard. The GOPe in Washington is NOT your savior.

I have peace of mind when I vote. I live in a solidly conservative county. In fact the most reliably conservative and Republican county of all 120 counties in Kentucky. But I take an extra step every time I vote - just for personal self-assurance that as far as I'm concerned I did the right thing. We have paper ballots that are fed through electronic voting machines. After voting just before I get up or walk toward the voting machine I take a picture of both sides of my ballot. So far none of the poll workers have called me out for doing that - and I don't know if doing that is illegal or not. Frankly I don't care and I'll continue photographing my ballot before submission. I'd like to believe that there wouldn't be any 'voting irregularities' in my precinct - but in this day and age you never know.. Who knows - if 'irregularities' or questions about voting in my precinct do come into question at least I have proof how I voted.

Republicans never learn anything. They would rather maintain the illusion of a fair election even though they know very well they haven't been honest for some time. That includes blocking any attempts to make it harder to cheat or even bring attention to the cheating. It keeps the masses pacified and the bribes coming.
The democrats would rather win, no matter what crimes they have to commit to do it.

MAGA must take over the RNC immediately or the next 2 years will all be for naught. The Turtle and the other leaders like Rona actively fight (using some of our money)to destroy MAGA candidates. Start with the RNC……vote her out!

Probably not...they'll screw it up just like they did last time they had the majority...and as far as the 'red wave', it was blunted by the usual democrat 'steal the vote' tactics...which are still playing out...Fetterman??? Jeez, give me a break!
Warnock??? Give me another break...at least bucktooth Abrams didn't win, again....
