Who or what was responsible for the Republican nationwide collapse in the midterms? After all, pundits, politicos, and pollsters all predicted a "red tsunami." Moreover, the average loss of any president in his first midterm is 25 House seats. And when his approval sinks to or below 43% — in the fashion of President Joe Biden — the loss, on average, expands to over 40 seats. Former President Barack Obama in 2010 lost 63 seats. Is Biden, therefore, more charismatic or more energetic CORRECTION*

If, as Hanson states, the Dems are now the party of the rich and boast the most billionaires, then the Republicans can't match them in spending.

I blame the toothless idiots who stormed the Capitol. The midterms would have been historic in proportion without this event and the narrative constructed by the left about the "loss of our democracy".

How could VDH overlook the influence of the dim's favorable media?
As usual they provided the bi-annual dim lies about social security, medicare, abortion, gay rights...Like sports it is hard to win when you are also playing the "referees".

Until good folks like the esteemed Professor Hansen come to terms with voter fraud, voter theft and media corruption on a massive scale that steals elections nothing else matters.

Would Obozo have lost 63 seats with the way voting takes place today? I think not. In fact, it was probably that 63 seat loss that created the manner in which voting takes place now. The demosluts decided that type of loss will never happen to them again. So they fixed voting methods that work for them.

FTA: “… either different leaders or different strategies — or both — are necessary to ensure different results.”
Conservatism is like a closed club resisting change. It lives in 1776, some promoting some watering of the tree of liberty with the tyrant’s blood. Disagree and the MAGA cultists start up. Conservatism is out of any ideas except some reversion to those halcyon days past. Ideologues don’t understand that electoral politics is different than preaching to the public. Meanwhile, conservatives sit while Progs act. Anyone know any conservative “activists”?

Maybe it's that the left has just realized that Joe Biden is the greatest president ever, that the poll saying that 70% of the people think the country is on the wrong path is wrong, and they needed to elect as many lefty politicians to help with his wonderful agenda! You think?

Sure #2. The storming of the Capitol resulted in what exactly? Trump left the WH later that month. Nancy had her goons fence off the Capitol from the hordes of the people. And hundreds of Americans who did nothing more than trespass into a government, i.e., tax payer owned, federal building have had their lives ruined.
The toothless goons? Really?

What is this navel gazing going to get us? Absolutely nothing. We have serious issues to confront in this country and if they are not addressed, nothing changes.
First of all, voter fraud is real and without that being discussed in a meaningful manner it will not stop. Why would it? It is working for democrats just they way it is supposed to. If we do not put a stop to this everything else that needs attention is a moot issue.
Second, we have MASSIVE corruption all throughout Washington DC and both parties are up to their necks in this criminality. There has to be accountability.
Third, we have a completely biased media in this country and it is the propaganda arm of the democrat party. Not only that, they are unhinged liars who spew the most vicious yet sanctimonious rhetoric. This must be confronted.
Until these three issues are addressed, we are just wasting time and energy. After all the misery and chaos we have suffered these last two years, it is clear that there are very few men or women who will speak truth to power. Clearly, we are not a nation of courageous individuals who will confront the real issues of the day. We have become weak and fearful. Anyone who does attempt to address the issues is immediately and viciously attacked. Far too many people are content to go along to get along.
While I respect and admire VDH, there comes a time when hard truths must be told bluntly and beating around the bush gets us no where. We need warriors willing to go to battle against the evil that is consuming us. We need plain speakers who will not be silenced. This post game wrap up is just not going to cut it.

As we always comment on L.com, and I've added to a VDH interview on YouTube, the results of what Obama and Biden have done to America — including clearly stolen elections — are not normal "party politics." They hate this country! That is treason. They are traitors, and we should treat them accordingly.

Only two possibilities. 1. The polls were wrong, who's lying out there. 2. The Polls were right and another steal was carried out in plain sight

Again more mega dittoes, Rinktum.
I love VDH. He is a very important historian and commentator for our country. But, it is unseemly to watch him, and others as well, contort themselves like pretzels into coming up with "reasons" for why the election went the way it did. This election was stolen just as the 2020 election was stolen. And no rationalizations or comparisons with historical context will change that. VDH offers no explanation as to why the sainted and adored Obama lost 63 seats at the same time in his presidency and the mentally challenged and very unliked Biden will end up losing only a handful of seats. Similarly in 2020 no one, VDH included could explain how Joe Biden, who remained in his basement throughout the campaign and drew flies during his infrequent campaign rallies, could mange to get 81 million votes, nearly 12 million more than St. Obama got in his election. TWO WORDS
STOLEN ELECTION.
Whistling past the graveyard, instead of confronting this criminal election fraud seems to be the tact that republicans, real historians and right leaning commentators are taking. We will never have another legal election until serious, serious investigations of what when on in 2020 and now 2022 are done and yes adjudicated. Our country is in terrible, terrible shape.

Efforts to keep Donald Trump out of the What House go back to at least 2016, with our own FBI and MSM misleading voters with the Russia Hoax. We saw it for ourselves. Heck, our sitting president already announced he'll "make sure" Donald Trump doesn't become president again...as if he is empowered to do any such thing.
Then again, maybe he knows how to make that happen, without the consent of the voters.
Maybe Biden DOES get to decide who can be president.
There is no shortage of Americans who didn't trust the 2020 election "outcome," and felt like they were watching a repeat with the 2022 returns. Lots of Americans doubted Biden, with his deteriorating physical and mental abilities could be elected president in 2020. And yet he won. Now, another Democrat candidate with serious deficits in information processing and speaking has been elected in 2022. This candidate was chosen by Pennsylvania voters despite his opponent being a well respected medical doctor with the education and expertise to question entrenched medical bureaucrats who thought locking children out of their schools was a good idea.
