Now the Disgraced COVID 'Experts' Want 'Amnesty'?

Original Article

In her recent article in The Atlantic, a Brown University professor, Emily Oster, is calling for "pandemic amnesty." She is telling me to "forgive and forget" everyone who was yelling obscenities at me for not wearing a mask in a public park or calling me a mass murderer for posting a picture with a friend visiting. I must forget all this, the author insists, because all those people had nothing but my well-being in mind! The author admits that many (if not most!) measures imposed on us by "the experts" were harmful and destructive.

Sure, we destroyed your small business, forced your Mother to die alone in a locked down retirement home, fired your sister from her job at the hospital for not getting the clot shot and your kids cannot read and have weird heart problems. But, hey. Bygones.

NO CHANCE! I worked my whole life, and sacrificed to properly launch two sons into Society as contributing members; and worked to provide a comfortable retirement future, and the whole world implodes just as I'm planning on relaxing for my sunset years! Corrupt Politicians, Amoral business Executives and power hungry perverts should not be given a pass for the results their actions have caused. I forgive ... but there needs to be consequences. And severe ones!

Being fired and losing a pension is a useless penalty for crimes against humanity. Fauci and Gates have both made millions on the misery they have inflicted. And the fact that Fauci continues to fund deadly virus work, reveals a complete lack of remorse for what he has inflicted on the world by funding the Wuhan's lab.

I stood my ground on my science-based and history-based position on masks and viruses, and a stand on “social distancing” when the basis for it was released. Over time, the wave of fear swamped truth…we lost friends, family relations were strained. These were times that historians will marvel at, just as we marvel at the native american cultures who wore amulets to ward off bullets. I cannot and will not forgive nor forget leaders who should have known better, nor professional fear-mongers. It is not healthy to carry a grudge against those who were frightened and did not have the wherewithal to separate themselves from the beliefs of the mob. It is proper to remember that some friends, some advisors, some family, are prone to mob rule.

Never. I saw friends and family die because of covid policies and to add insult to injury, I could not go to their funerals. I could not go to church, see the dentist or even get my hair cut but if I wanted to buy whiskey or get an abortion then it was fine. I was forced to wear that damned mask and lived in fear that I would lose my job. And if I complained, I was met with "do you want people to die?" In the meantime, Out Betters went to restaurants, hairdressers, funerals of their friends and got their mothers taken care of in private facilities. And when the right kind of people rioted all summer, well that was just fine. No way am I forgiving them. No way

As for Fauci I think it's possible that one reason Liz Cheney has gone off the deep end is that her father and Shrub Bush were the ones who gave Fauci that huge raise and put him in charge of bio weapons program in conjunction with the Pentagon and she doesn't want that getting much exposure or investigation.

No, no, no, 'tis much more appropriate to put targets on the backs of the COVID-Criminals then tell them to run fast as hell to a "safe city" to live out the rest of their days. Venturing away from a safe city will be at risk of ones own life. This is exactly how criminals were treated in Old Testament Israel, as they had no prisons, they allowed the aggrieved to track down the criminal during his trek where they could exact due penalty after sentencing. Killing a convicted murderer on the run was even sanctioned under the Mosaic law. It's too bad this couldn't be used for the Parkland School and Waukesha Parade murderers.

One of my graduate history professors made a statement in class once I have never forgotten: “Before you study the history, study the historian." This is indeed insightful. His meaning was simply that historians are people, too, and we are influenced by our beliefs, culture, traditions, etc. like anyone else. A good historian will try, as best as possible, to tell the historical “story” as accurately as he/she can, and such is not impossible. I firmly believe historical truth can be discovered. But there does exist a near-infinite amount of historical data available, and a historian does have to choose which of that data he uses.

Former (and sort of current) president Barack Obama used a rally in Phoenix Wednesday night to deliver a crazy remark about America's system of self-government. The Anointed One asserted that if the Arizona Republican candidates are successful, "democracy as we know it may not survive" there. He added, "That's not an exaggeration. That is a fact." Opinions are now facts, as facts are "disinformation" to the wannabe tyrants called Democrats. Democrats have routinely asserted recently that "our democracy is in danger" if Republicans do well on a national scale in the upcoming midterm elections.

The recent exchange between Chuck Todd, presenter on NBC’s Meet the Press, and Chris Sununu, Governor of New Hampshire, was illuminating for a number of reasons. Chuck Todd has not been this upset since Texas Gov. Abbott sent 50 poor Venezuelans to Martha’s Vineyard, the Democrats’ safe, quaint, quiet, mostly white elitist paradise that “liberals” desperately want to keep rigorously illegal-alien-free. Sununu’s sin is that he supports his state’s Republican candidate for the Senate, Don Bolduc, and this, Todd informs him, is not acceptable to the left that now believes it has the right to decide whom Republicans are permitted to support for higher office.

A large portion of our citizenry, unfortunately, has forgotten these things, and the latest generations never learned them in the first place.
