Thanksgiving Is Being Canceled by Many

As we’ve previously noted, nearly 70% of likely 2022 voters say that the high price of groceries is influencing their motivation to vote. This spells doom for Joe Biden and the Democrats in November. However, Bidenflation will not only influence voters’ decisions in November. It will also, regrettably, have an effect on the Thanksgiving dinner. More than a third of Americans, according to a survey by Personal Capital, will be eating less at Thanksgiving this year, with 88% of Americans planning to eliminate at least one dish from their traditional Thanksgiving spread in an effort to save money. But, as Personal Capital notes, “with financial strain and tightened budgets, the easiest way to save

I have not seen whole frozen Turkeys yet. So to prepare for thanksgiving and Christmas i went in Walmart website and found Butterball frozen Turkey breasts at about $16 each and bought two of them and put them in the freezer. I’m ready.

I prep and I basically have what I need. Got a very nice (yes, it was a bit pricey) high quality 5 pound turkey breast roast in my freezer. ( Those that know are calling out a turkey shortage and what will be available will be expensive). All the other fixings are in my stash. Except for some fresh products I'm good. However, it is only me and my husband and my son and his wife. I have no doubt that those that get together with a house load of friends and family will find it difficult. In this inflation climate I would not want to be trying to feed two adults and a couple of kids. But FJB is telling us all is good, only 2% inflation, don't worry be happy. Math was never my strong suit but I think he's off by a good 15% when it comes to groceries. Throw in the price of gas or plane tickets and a lot more people might have smaller gatherings. Vote America like your life depends on it. Because for once that is a true statement. It is going to be a long, cold winter courtesy FJB and this clown car administration.

Most Americans can stand to lose a few pounds anyway, particularly those who get their food for free, courtesy of us taxpayers. The White House chef will not be holding back on any food items.

C'mon, man. Hot dogs have to be down another 5 cents. Let's get creative here! I'm not joking. And what are Californians complaining about? Gas has always been $7 a gallon out there. If all else fails, go to the local food bank and put some BOXES of food in your trunk. I'm Zhoa Biden, and I approved this message.

When I was growing up, we always had a Goose or a couple Ducks for Thanksgiving. I loved them stuffed with Apples and Raisins. Then my Grandma would save all the Goose Grease and she would drizzle it over Popcorn. It was SO good! I can live without Turkey! We usually have a Pork Roast on Thanksgiving!

My favorite Thanksgiving feast ever was an oyster roast over a fire pit in my brother in law’s back yard. It doesn’t matter what you eat as long as you’re thankful for it.

Next we'll be hearing that with high gas prices families will be unable to attend their community's FREE turkey dinner served with all the trimmings. Certainly, a plea from the food pantries for more donations for their giveaways. Here's an alternative - buy a bunch of Banquet frozen Turkey dinners. Cheaper than a carton of smokes, and payable with your government-issued EBT card. Give me your over/under for the pre-Thanksgiving price of turkeys...I'm guessing 39 cents a pound with a store coupon and some minimal purchase.

US billionaire Elon Musk tweeted on Saturday that SpaceX will continue funding Starlink internet service in war-torn Ukraine, apparently reversing course after SpaceX asked the United States military to pick up the tab. SpaceX's Starlink satellite internet services have been a vital source of communication for the country's military during the war with Russia, but as CNN exclusively reported earlier this week, SpaceX warned the Pentagon that it may stop funding the service in Ukraine unless the US military kicks in tens of millions of dollars per month, according to documents obtained by CNN. The letter also requested that the Pentagon take over funding for Ukraine's government and military use

I am pretty sure that I have never praised the Biden Administration. I mean, why would I? Well, I may have found a reason, believe it or not. It seems that the Biden Administration has struck a huge blow against the Chinese tech industry, and it wasn’t even by accident. They did something right, and never let it be said that I am more unfair to liberals than my job naturally requires. I learned about this from a Twitter thread that I ran across on Friday and wanted to take some time to digest the information, both in the thread and by doing some actual, bonafide research to

Former Gov. Chris Christie created a firestorm on ABC News’ “This Week With George Stephanopoulos” on Sunday, with what he had to say about the Jan. 6 Committee. Christie pointed out that, to many Republicans, the Committee doesn’t have any credibility. That’s because they don’t have any real Republicans on the Committee to make any points against the Democratic narrative. The January 6 committee was “resigned to having a credibility problem because of the membership of the committee and the way that was done,” Christie opened by saying. “There are lots of Republicans across this country who just say, there’s nobody there to argue the other side. Dr. Anthony Fauci, who recently announced he would be leaving his government post as White House chief medical adviser, claimed innocence on the fallout from school shutdowns, namely dramatic learning loss among K-12 students, in an interview that aired Sunday. Speaking to ABC News, the nation’s chief immunologist denied that he had any responsibility in driving the public health consensus that schools should have discontinued in-person instruction for many months on end as a Covid-19 mitigation measure. “Was it a mistake in so many states, in so many localities, to see schools closed as long as they were?” host Jonathan Karl asked.

The polls seem to be showing a lot of good things for Republicans right now. One example of this trend is the new Harvard-Harris poll, which has some fascinating things in it that show why Democrats are going to be in big trouble in the November elections. But even more than the midterms, I think it bodes well for the country; because there are signs that the radical nature of the Democrats is driving more people to the center or the right in this poll, as well. Most respondents — 57 percent — say their financial situation is worsening. Also, 84 percent disagree with Joe Biden and think

With the midterms less than a month away, left-leaning news outlets and political commentators are resorting to dark predictions about the future of the country with warnings of imminent civil war if Republicans retake control of Congress in November. Talk of a second civil war among liberal journalists, television personalities and lawmakers has become increasingly commonplace following the raid on former President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home on Aug. 8, after which liberal pundits repeatedly claimed on-air that evolving distrust for the U.S. government among Trump supporters would lead to escalated political violence. Yes, to some extent, Walker’s communication issues have been overstated, but no one was ever going to confuse him for a charismatic speaker, and certainly, no one thought he would be a good debater. The running assumption for the month leading up to the event has been simple: Walker would be lucky to get out alive, and absolutely no one was entertaining the possibility that he could excel. Politics is fun, isn’t it? You can play with the truth all you want, and, as long as you’re a member of the right party, you can throw all the crap you want against a wall just to see what sticks. The poll also shows that while 71% of Democrats would vote to reelect the president, 19% would not, along with 91% of Republicans and 54% of independents.
