Russiagate special counsel John Durham is in the homestretch. His grand jury wrapped up work last week, apparently with no new indictments on the horizon. Attorney General Merrick Garland is said to anticipate receiving his final report by the end of the year. And Durham is gearing up for his last trial: the prosecution of Igor Danchenko, the principal source for the discredited Steele dossier.
That last one should be grabbing our attention. We now know that the so-called dossier compiled by former British spy Christopher Steele was a Clinton campaign production. It is one of the great dirty tricks in modern political history: The 2016 Democratic presidential campaign colluded

And, as always in our kleptocracy, nobody important will be held to account. It will all be swept under the rug and ignored.

Lol, so predictable. Years wasted, millions in taxes wasted, nothing happened.
But he was actually very successful because he fully accomplished his mission. He buried the entire thing and now the deep state and their media pals can say there was a huge investigation and everything is fine and Trump is guilty (of something tbd after we arrest him).
As predicted by many here at L.

Not surprisingly, plausible deniability wins. The dims win this with perfection.

Nothing will change. The FBI, unless completely dismantled, will continue to be a political enforcement agency not a law enforcement agency.

Figured this whole exercise would amount to a pound if dog squeeze. We don't need a report telling us what we already know.

Durham is and was the very best tool in the Communist tool box, a wholly corrupt attorney who by all means necessary went about covering for the Deep State and putting on a show for the public., accomplishing NOTHING! GODDAMN his evil soul to the hell he so richly deserves!

I hope no one here scoffs at the notion of eliminating the FBI. The FBI became armed and tasked with their modern mission back when states didn’t communicate effectively when hoods like Dillinger and Pretty Boy Floyd could escape across state lines and be free. Those weaknesses no longer exist and neither should the FBI.

Durham has been about as effective as your hand wave in the air. Durham came, did nothing for 2 years, and is going with nothing accomplished. The mean, great prosecutor from Connecticut has done his job well, which was to do nothing, and accomplish nothing. The public wants their money back.

Is the Grand Jury in D.C.? Did Durham's last trial take place in D.C.? It isn't Durham is so bad, it's the D.C. Court system is so corrupt. We do fault Durham for taking so long and not trying to remove this trials out of D.C. He was appointed by AG Bill Barr, who went over to the dark side almost from the beginning, a friend of Comey and Mueller. Could Durham have the same ties to Comey and Mueller as Barr did?
We propose to remove all of the federal offices out of D.C. to somewhere in the middle of the nation. The place is so corrupt that today Al Capone couldn't even get tried and convicted for tax evasion if he was a demonrat.

Andrew McCarthy is a columnist for National Review. He and his magazine were fully onboard the Muller investigation from beginning to end with nary a critical word about the corruption visible to all who followed that sad affair.
Here McCarthy pretends that the Durham investigation has paved the way for justice to be delivered to President Trump and the American people. Note that in this article only Sussman, the weasel who altered documents to lie about Trump, and Danchenko, a Russian asset on the FBI’s payroll are highlighted. Sussman got off with a slap. Danchenko will probably be the scapegoat so the real villains, McCarthy’s FBI and DOJ buddies will escape justice.

There obviously is nothing special about "special counsels." They are just run of the mill Deep State members.

#2, I don't think the Democrats think these last 6 years have been wasted, and they certainly don't care about how much money it costs for anything (there's always more from where they get it).
Unfortunately, President Trump is unable, or unwilling, to figure out how to spin this into his advantage. He simply keeps harping on a "stolen" election.
He should be focusing on how they were out for him, have had nothing on him, and still continue to attack him because he is in the way of what they want to do, which is only to benefit a select privileged elite group.
There' a good TV show called "Devils" and it stars Patrick Dempsey, which is all about global finance many might find interesting. Season 2 even mentions how Trump is in the way.
