Page #2 and Page #3 of Judge Aileen Cannon’s ruling cites a quote from the DOJ own legal filing, dated May 10th, that Joe Biden ordered the National Archives and Records Administration to provide access to the FBI to review the Trump records. Note the quotation marks: On May 10, 2022, NARA informed Plaintiff that it would proceed with “provid[ing] the FBI access to the records in question, as requested by the incumbent President, beginning as early as Thursday, May 12, 2022.” August 24, 2022, Joe Biden was questioned about how much notice he had regarding the FBI raid on President Trump’s home at Mar-a-Lago in Florida.

On Monday, the judge handling the case of the FBI’s Mar-a-Lago raid made an official decision to appoint a special master to review the documents seized. That came after she dropped a preliminary notice that she intended to do so at the end of August.
The DOJ’s subsequent arguments apparently weren’t very convincing, and now they will be forced to cease their investigation as the process plays out. The judge found numerous instances of privileged material making it through the government’s filter team, and revelations that medical records and tax returns were taken only provided more reason to move ahead with a special master.

There is no end of history. Instead, civilization is a constant fight to embrace what has worked for the common good through the ages—and to reject what in the past has failed abysmally.
Bad and bankrupt ideas, protocols, and ideologies—like McCarthyism, communism, various cults, or fascism—resurface not because of their intrinsic or lasting value or record of success, but because civilizations become less vigilant and allow human vanities, ignorance, arrogance, and evil to reassert themselves.

The number of American jobs outsourced to foreign visa workers each year has exploded in recent decades to more than half a million, federal data suggests.
The Immigration Act of 1990, signed by then-President George H.W. Bush, greatly expanded the number of visa programs and created today’s business model where employers import foreign visa workers in droves to take American jobs in blue-collar and white-collar industries.
Federal data from the State Department shows that in 2021, almost 550,000 foreign visa workers were allowed to enter the United States labor market to take American jobs. Most of those half a million foreign visa workers, almost 470,000,

Of course, when you have the alleged leader of the Democratic Party inciting the left against millions of Americans, that might just smell a little bit like Joe Biden is the true fascist he trying to label others as.
Now, we also have a little help on the question of who is the real fascist from Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD). Raskin told CBS during an interview with “Face the Nation” on Sunday, “Two of the hallmarks of a fascist political party are

Federal District Judge Aileen M. Cannon issued an order today requiring that a “special master” be appointed to review what the Justice Department seized from former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home when it was raided last month by the FBI.
In the order, the judge said that the FBI had seized “medical documents” from Mar-a-Lago.
“The court hereby authorizes the appointment of a special master to review the seized property for personal items and documents and potentially privileged material subject to claims of attorney-client and/or executive privilege,” said Judge Cannon’s order.

President Joe Biden rolled out a new nickname for MAGA Republicans on Labor Day during a lively speech where he also walked back comments suggesting Donald Trump's supporters believe in 'semi-fascism.' During his speech in Wisconsin on Monday, the president denounced the former president's followers as 'Trumpies' and claimed politicians on the 'extreme right' of the GOP are 'coming for your social security' and destroying worker pensions. At one point Biden was interrupted by a heckler—though he told Secret Service to 'let him go.' 'Everybody's entitled to be an idiot,' the president said to scattered laughter. And despite clarifying early on that 'not every Republican is a MAGA Republican,

Former President Donald J. Trump expressed dissatisfaction with the direction at Fox News, which he suggested is going soft on Democrats while offering up a potential solution to its competitor CNN, which is in the midst of a shakeup amid dismal ratings.
On Sunday, Trump took to his Truth Social platform to release a bolt out of the blue, accusing Fox News of promoting the Democrat agenda and coddling Democrat guests, specifically naming former White House official Karl Rove whom he slammed as “unwatchable” and seemingly putting out a feeler to CNN which he suggested could benefit greatly by going conservative, which he offered to help it do.

Sheesh. This is a tough one, but someone has to write about former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton recently letting the cat out of the bag regarding why she switched to almost exclusively wearing her signature pantsuits throughout her political career. A long-held secret.
In a recent interview with CBS News’s Norah O’Donnell, Clinton and her daughter Chelsea sat down at a diner and discussed their new eight-part Apple TV+ docuseries Gutsy, which is based on The New York Times bestselling book The Book of Gutsy Women.
After discussing various topics in the upcoming series, O’Donnell changed direction, saying to Hillary, “You also reveal why you wear a pantsuit?”

We've been hearing an awful lot, even from Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) himself, that Republicans taking back control of the Senate isn't as likely to happen, due to "candidate quality." It's worth noting that forecasters still have it as a "Toss-Up," or for Democrats only slightly favored to keep control of the chamber, as many races are tight in key seats.
One of them, surprisingly enough, is in Washington state, where Sen. Patty Murray, the Democratic incumbent, is just a few percentage points ahead of her Republican challenger, Tiffany Smiley. This is according to a recent poll from the Trafalgar Group.

It’s hard to pick the most grating member of the January 6th committee. I think for pure hysterical unseriousness, you’d have to go with Adam Kinzinger. He’s so bad that even the other members rarely acknowledge his existence publicly. Of course, Liz Cheney is in the discussion, though she manages to be a bit more cunning in her dissolution of all the principles she claims to hold dear.
But as far as the Democrats on the committee go, the choice is easy: Jamie Raskin takes the cake.
Raskin obviously learned from Adam Schiff’s behavior during the facial and wasted effort of the Robert Mueller investigation.

The Department of Education seemed to be well aware of the educational failings of government-run schools based on the town hall hosted by the White House last week, but analysis once again indicated trifles such as math and reading were taking a backseat to woke indoctrination.
Moderated by Education Secretary Miguel Cardona with guests including National Education Association (NEA) President Becky Pringle and American Federation of Teachers (AFT) President Randi Weingarten, the Ed. Labor Day was once the most blatantly political US holiday — created by the trade-union movement to celebrate the right of working people to bargain collectively and to stage strikes to press their demands.
The Post was an early and vigorous supporter of the movement. As early as 1836, editor William Cullen Bryant wrote: “Strike the right of associating for the sale of labor from the privileges of a freeman, and you may as well at once bind him to a master.”
New York hosted the nation’s first Labor Day parade when 10,000 workers marched from City Hall to Union Square.

Questions continue to mount over the White House's federal student loan forgiveness plan as multiple analyses suggest the government has underestimated the policy's hefty price tag. But even without the cost estimates of the other policy points, several private analyses already suggest the White House's projection is modest at best. At a national level there is a unique policy priority that almost every politician, on both sides, will avoid discussing. At a national level a single policy priority determines all other national policy issues. That policy is the national economic policy.
The national economic policy of a presidential candidate determines all other national policies that flow from the presidential candidate. The national economic policy impacts the obvious policies like energy and trade, and also determines the lesser obvious policies like regulation and even foreign policy.
It is specifically because a candidate’s national economic outlook impacts all other issues, that most national politicians never talk about it.

In today's happy news, Chile's voters have decisively, overwhelmingly rejected a full-blown socialist rewrite of their 40-year constitution that otherwise has served them so well.
According to the lefty U.K. Guardian (whose account was less biased than that of the New York Times):
Chileans have voted comprehensively against a new, progressive constitution that had been drafted to replace the 1980 document written under Gen Augusto Pinochet’s dictatorship.
With 96% of the votes counted in Sunday’s plebiscite, the rejection camp had 61.9% support compared with 38.1% for approval amid what appeared to be a heavy turnout with long lines at polling states. Voting was mandatory.

I’m not convinced that wealth disparity is a problem. I do firmly believe, mind you, that the world is rich enough now that no one should starve or freeze to death, at least not involuntarily, and that the injured or diseased should be given medical treatment.
In America, we’ve achieved that, and more. Poor people in America not only have plenty to eat (as is evident from their physiques) but also have automobiles, air conditioning, color cable television, smart phones, and free tuition.
The wealth disparity complaint is not about starvation or freezing. It’s the complaint that some people have far more luxuries than others.

Joe Biden’s labeling of Trump supporters as “semi-fascist” is yet another example of the strategy of “projection” – accusing the opponents of the progressive left of the very things the left is guilty of. In point of fact, today’s American left has become explicitly fascist.

Did you see Joe Biden crash the 2022 campaign?
Like a jetliner that slammed into a mountain, his little “Benito Mussolini LIVE from the third circle of hell” routine on Thursday has already made history as the worst speech in the history of American presidents.
No one should have been surprised by it either. For the previous ten days Karine Jean-Pierre had been using much of the same language just minus all the dripping blood red lighting effects, and no Marines at her flank.
In fact the Biden team have more or less been using this vitriol since coming to power but they had been disinclined to say the “secret part” out loud.

London - Liz Truss has been elected as the Conservative Party’s new leader, the party announced Monday, and she thus will become Britain’s new prime minister as the country faces an acute cost-of-living crisis.
The 47-year-old Truss, who is currently foreign secretary, beat former Treasury chief Rishi Sunak after a leadership contest in which only about 170,000 dues-paying members of the Conservative Party were allowed to vote. Truss received 81,326 votes, compared with Sunak’s 60,399.
She faces immediate pressure to deliver on her promises to tackle a cost-of-living crisis walloping the U.K. and an economy heading into a potentially lengthy recession.

In President Joe Biden’s 2007 memoir, Promises to Keep: On Life and Politics, he wrote that the late Sen. Mike Mansfield (D-Mont.) gave him the best advice he ever received: “Joe, never attack another man’s motive, because you don’t know his motive.” Judging from Biden’s increasingly belligerent speeches, he has forgotten Mansfield’s eminently wise counsel. This was rendered abundantly clear during his Thursday speech at Independence Hall in Philadelphia. Standing before a backdrop that looked as if it had been designed by Leni Riefenstahl, he attacked the motives of half the electorate.

During this primary election cycle, a deceptive ploy by Democrats to get their candidates an easier ride into office has emerged–funneling campaign ad dollars into efforts to get the opponent of their choosing on the other side. The topic was brought up Sunday, surprisingly, during ABC News’ “This Week With George Stephanopoulos,” by co-host Martha Raddatz. Earlier in the program, as my colleague Bonchie shared, former mayor of Atlanta and current Biden senior adviser Keisha Lance Bottoms doubled down on the dangerous, hateful rhetoric President Joe Biden spewed
