The Daily Wire, the conservative media outlet founded by Ben Shapiro, has hired a Disney veteran to help grow its subscription streaming business.
The company has tapped Eric Caballero as its new CMO, overseeing all marketing for the company, particularly as it continues to invest in the entertainment business, arguing that legacy companies like Disney have abandoned their family-friendly roots. Caballero most recently worked as a vice president in Disney’s media and entertainment distribution group. Among other projects, Caballero will lead marketing for The Daily Wire+, the company’s streaming platform. While it includes politically focused content from The Daily Wire as well as some other conservative programming, the company is

As we reported, Attorney General Merrick Garland moved to block the unsealing of the affidavit which would reveal the reasons for the FBI raid on President Donald Trump’s home. The claim was that they didn’t want the release to prejudice the investigation. But even if they wanted to preserve the investigation, they could still redact parts and/or Garland could just give the rationale for the raid without revealing the rest of the investigation. That is, if he cared about transparency and wanted to reassure the public that this wasn’t all political. But he hasn’t done that. While Garland is trying to keep the affidavit under wraps, we’re seeing “leaks”

The era of Donald Trump has brought a great many changes to the political world since 2016, and the year 2023 will be no different – the dynasties of Bush, Cheney, McCain, and Clinton will hold no quarter in either statewide or national office.
With the defeat of Liz Cheney in the Wyoming Republican congressional primary on Tuesday, the franchise dynasties that have dominated the U.S. political landscape going all the way back to the 1970s came to a crashing halt. Whether or not the Republican Party takes control of Congress in November’s mid-term election, come January 23, there will be no politician by name of Bush, Cheney, McCain, or Clinton

Donald Trump may be dealing with a federal criminal investigation following the FBI’s unprecedented raid of his home, but he’s still out there having fun. Say what you will about the guy, but what’s undeniable is that he’s hilarious. That was on display on Wednesday when Trump started endorsing…Democrats? Trump also endorsed @CarolynBMaloney this evening… If you don’t know who Daniel Goldman is, he’s the ridiculous hack lawyer that Adam Schiff tapped for Trump’s first impeachment. He’s since become an online personality and has done his share of cable news hits. Trump endorsed him, though, stating “while it was my honor to beat him, and beat him badly, Dan Goldman has

The same Florida magistrate who approved the raid on former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home will decide on Thursday if we can see why he approved it. We’d like to check his work, you understand. Because it looks like the FBI is up to its old tricks again. Indeed, the FBI’s supposed “leaker” who complained about Trump’s document cache seems to have obliterated the excuses we’ve heard for the raid and laid bare the sole reason behind it: get Trump. News organizations and Judicial Watch want to see the affidavit which supports the raid — the raid that was so, so emergent that the DOJ waited weeks to ask for the search warrant,

Former World Wrestling Entertainment boss Vince McMahon paid $5 million of around $20 million previously unrecorded expenses to Donald Trump's foundation in 2007 and 2009, according to a new report from The Wall Street Journal.
The report comes weeks after McMahon retired as CEO of the company amid investigations into hush payments he made related to alleged sexual misconduct. WWE has since said its board's independent probe into the matter is "substantially complete." While the majority of the $20 million in payments went to women who accused McMahon and another WWE executive of sexual misconduct, another $5 million was used for unrelated purposes, according to a recent securities

Elon Musk, the world’s richest person, said early on Wednesday that he was joking when he tweeted hours previously that he was going to buy currently struggling English soccer giants Manchester United.
“No, this is a long-running joke on Twitter. I’m not buying any sports teams,” Musk posted when asked by a user if he was serious about buying the club. “Although, if it were any team, it would be Man U,” he added, “they were my fav (sic) team as a kid.” Musk originally tweeted: “I’m buying Manchester United ur (sic) welcome,” without offering any details. Former vice president Mike Pence said Wednesday he would “consider” testifying before the January 6 Committee if he was invited.
Pence was answering a question after the New Hampshire Institute of Politics’ “Politics & Eggs” breakfast when he made the remark.
“If there was an invitation to participate, I would consider it,” Pence said. “But, you heard me mention the Constitution a few times this morning. Under the Constitution, we have three co-equal branches of government, and any invitation to be directed to me, I would have to reflect on the unique role I was serving in as vice president. It would be unprecedented in history

Representative Liz Cheney admitted Wednesday that she is “thinking about” running for president in 2024, hours after losing the Republican primary for Wyoming’s only House seat to Trump-backed Harriet Hageman in a landslide.
Hageman, a political newcomer, bested the 56-year-old daughter of former vice president Dick Cheney by more than 30 percentage points with 90 percent of the vote counted, handing former president Donald Trump what is perhaps his biggest victory yet this primary cycle by knocking off his chief antagonist in Congress.

Republican candidate for Congress Jennifer-Ruth Green’s campaign has shifted the Democrat stronghold of Indiana’s first congressional district to a “toss-up” election, according to the latest rating by the Cook Political Report.
The Northwest Indiana district, represented by first-term Democrat Rep. Frank Mrvan, has not sent a Republican candidate to Congress since 1932. Cook Political Report switched the district from “lean Democrat” to a “toss-up” after Green raised more than $275,000 in cash during the campaign’s second quarter. Green raised $561,329.50 from April 1 to June 30, compared to Marvin’s $355,906.37, Federal Election Commission (FEC) filings show.

This is becoming a popular line of reasoning for Republican voters looking to the 2024 presidential election. Republicans are getting comfortable with saying the hard part out loud – it’s time for a younger, nondramatic version of Trump to run for president. It’s one thing for regular voters to deliver such an opinion (and completely understandable), it’s more noticeable when it comes from a loyal Trump supporter or a former member of Trump’s administration.
Granted, the FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago reminded everyone of the never-ending drama that surrounds Trump and the continuous overreach his opponents provide in their quest to prevent him from running for president again. Mick Mulvaney,
