Attorney General Merrick Garland on Thursday held a belated press conference to explain that he had personally approved the FBI’s raid of Donald Trump’s Florida residence to seize documents deemed U.S. government property.
A clearly agitated and nervous Garland sought to exude confidence in the raid. He went on to heatedly defend the professionalism and integrity of the Justice Department and FBI.
But almost immediately after his sermon, the Justice Department and its affiliates were back to their usual selective leaking (“sources say” . . . “according to people familiar with the investigation”) to liberal newspapers.

"[The FBI] directors might not have stonewalled Congress while under oath or lied to federal investigators or leaked confidential government memos to the press. The FBI did not have to mislead about the contents of a controversial laptop."
For years courts have said it's OK for cops to lie to the people.
Do you know America is an outlier in advanced countries to allow that?

This is a mistake.
When LEO are allowed to lie to anyone, inevitably,
they lie to everyone.

The funny thing about the people comparing Trump to the Rosenbergs is that just a short time ago they were agitating that the Rosenbergs were unjustly convicted.

Garland never had any people following to lose. Now he is widely known as a lying, corrupt scoundrel, and that is a permanent label that cannot be removed.

#3 The most famous "people" comparing Trump to the Rosenbergs was General Michael Hayden (best friends with my favorite cousin who informed me decades ago that there were NO more conservatives in the Intelligence Services. We can all say "DUH" in unison now). Hayen was the much criticized (not loudly or often enough) buffoon who compared the Trump Administration's stewardship of the Southern Border (remember the MSM was using photos from the Obama Administration which were quickly dubbed "Children in Cages,"with nary a mention of Obama) ... well, you may remember, General Hayden compared Trump's Southern Border to AUSCHWITZ!!!! He then went on to famously lend whatever credibility he had left to the "50 former Intelligence Officials" who declared the Hunter Biden laptop was Russian Disinformation, without investigation, to push Biden over the top in the (still unsettled) 2020 Presidential Election! https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/521823-50-former-intelligence-officials-warn-ny-post-story-sounds-like-russian/

This article demonstrates that the public hasn’t forgotten the many devious actions of the FBI and JD! It takes a refresher course, like this article did, to remind us of the most notorious of the events, but suffice it to say we’ve lost confidence in these institutions for a number of years now!

Show me the "anger" of the people. Sidewalk vigils of murder victims draw larger crowds, mainly because they actually take place. Where were the people demanding the release of the J6 political prisoners, for example? The people are angry...most of them are either afraid of consequences, ignorant, or bathing their cats.
Maybe it's those "real conservative" pundits advising to "Keep your powder dry." Sounds like "Don't do nothing" to me. People pledge broken glass crawling and won't cross the street to mildly express their displeasure. They're depending on those upcoming "rigged elections" to fix things.

If it is a felony for us to lie to the FBI, it should be a felony for FBI to lie to us.

Ronald Reagan, while still an actor, summed up how to best clean up the corruption threatening to destroy what is left of our Republic. In a western flick titled, "Law and Order" (1953), while casually ironing a shirt stated, "You can clean it up in one day. All you have to do is kill five or six people."
