Everyone should be deeply troubled by the recent report that the Army is on pace to miss its recruiting goal by dozens of thousands of troops and by the report that followed a few days later, alleging that the Border Patrol is running short of agents in Arizona and Texas. The border is so porous these days that even mayors of sanctuary cities are starting to complain about illegal immigration.
So, what is Congress doing about these crises? They are going to spend tens of billions of dollars to increase the number of ... IRS employees. The plan calls for spending some $80 billion to hire some 80,000 new agents

I’ve always said that most institutions with the words “international” or “world” in their titles are globalist, pinko organizations. Examples include the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the World Health Organization (WHO), and the World Economic Forum (WEF). This does not include Ihop and their delicious boysenberry syrup.
An op-ed article appeared on the WEF website, claiming there is a need for a form of global censorship. It doesn’t say, “We need global censorship,” because the commies are too clever to be that blunt. They offer to shred our rights the way the bolshies always have, by saying it’s for the betterment of the people. In this case, they call for cracking

If by rule of law we mean a principle of governance in which legal standards are clear, are duly enforced by public officials, and are validated and maintained by an impartial and timely judicial system, leading to public trust in fair legal consistency and public order, then we can say that today the rule of law no longer applies, or applies only selectively, in a constitutional republic like the U.S. or a parliamentary democracy like Canada.
In Canada, the current prime minister has flouted the rule of law and the Charter of Rights and Freedoms so often that the country is now verging on the status of a third-world autocracy.

A third of the way into his article, “Afghanistan Did Not Have to Turn Out This Way”, David Petraeus, former head of Central Command, who led forces in both Afghanistan and Iraq, and then headed the CIA, admits the war was never going to end.
“Some senior officials, including me, had cautioned that we would not be able to do in Afghanistan what we had done in Iraq—that though we might be able to drive violence down, we would not be able to ‘flip’ the country, as we had during the surge in Iraq, and provide it a whole new beginning,” he writes.
"When we recognized that we couldn’t 'win' the war,

FORT WORTH, Texas - A man accused of flying a drone filled with drugs, phones, and mp3 players into a Fort Worth prison was arrested on Thursday.
Bryant LeRay Henderson, 42, was arrested at his home in Smithville and charged with one count of attempting to provide contraband in prison, one count of serving as an airman without an airman’s certificate, and one count of possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, according to U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Texas Chad E. It strains credulity, but given Old Joe Biden’s deteriorating mental state, it doesn’t really strain credulity all that much: the Biden White House insists that it only found out about the twilight-of-the-republic raid on Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home when the establishment media did, and not a moment before. So if the alleged president didn’t order this banana-republic raid, who did? On Thursday, Biden’s hyper-partisan Attorney General Merrick Garland, who has done so much to turn the Justice Department and the FBI into weapons of partisan politics, admitted that it was he who “personally approved” the raid, and as he surveys what he hath wrought,

The trail of corruption and abuse stretches the length of the Great Wall of China by this point. The Federal Bureau of Investigation is out of control. Has the Russian collusion hoax not exposed how far agents and employees at the Department of Justice will go to undermine a duly elected president? There was election interference in 2016 and 2020, but the source was domestic, not foreign. It wasn’t the Russians but those working in the J. Edgar Hoover Building. Trump being smeared as a Kremlin agent was the first salvo, but in 2020, the Hunter Biden laptop came out in October of that year—threatening Joe Biden’s election chances.

“I honestly feel we should not play the national anthem during our season,” WNBA superstar Brittney Griner said in a 2020 interview with the Arizona Republic. “I think we should take that much of a stand.”
Griner is now serving nine years in a Russian penal colony for drug possession.
One might now ask what kind of a “stand” was Griner wanting to take? More importantly, what kind of “stand” should we take regarding a pro athlete who enjoyed her oppression in America so much that she became fabulously wealthy and had the freedom to marry a female spouse — something that she might be arrested for in Russia?

Russia’s Saki Air Base, safely tucked away 120 miles or more behind the front lines, lost as many as 10 warplanes and various buildings in a series of explosions on Tuesday — but how it happened remains a mystery.
Very few people seem to know what actually happened, and even those witnesses are telling conflicting stories.
Massive explosions rocked the airfield, home to aircraft from the Russian Navy’s 43rd Independent Naval Attack Aviation Regiment. The smoke could be seen from miles away. Satellite photos show that Russia lost at least half a dozen aircraft, including top-line Su-30 Flanker fighters and older Su-24 Fencer fighter/bombers.
Several buildings appear to have been destroyed or damaged,

The Inflation “Reduction” Act includes hiring 87,000 new IRS agents, doubling the agency’s size.
Did you know the IRS has a Criminal Investigation unit? It’s the law enforcement branch of the Internal “Revenue” Service. (“Revenue” is in quotes because taxation is theft. They’re taking our money.)
The branch is not new. IRS Commissioner Daniel C. Roper created the unit in 1919.

Papa John's founder and ex-chairman John Schnatter had strong words for his former company, claiming that they have abandoned the "principles" he followed when he ran it, and that they have suffered as a result.
In an interview with the Right Side Broadcasting Network at CPAC in Dallas, Texas, last week, Schnatter said he "built the whole company on conservative values" that have since been ignored.
"I think they've really lost their way," Schnatter said. "It used to be an operational-driven company. Now it’s a lawyer, PR-driven company. They don’t run their company on principles and values."
Schnatter went on to claim that the pizza company's performance
