Former President Donald Trump on Wednesday afternoon revealed more details on the circumstances surrounding the FBI’s Aug. 8 raid of his Mar-a-Lago home.
“In early June, the DOJ and FBI asked my legal representatives to put an extra lock on the door leading to the place where boxes were stored in Mar-a-Lago – We agreed,” Trump said in a post on Truth Social on Aug. 10, in an apparent reference to boxes that may have been used to store presidential records in Mar-a-Lago. “They were shown the secured area, and the boxes themselves.”

Snoop. If I were Trump, I have the whole place inspected and cleaned from ceiling to floor. No telling how many bugs they put in the place.

Based on the angst coming out of the DOJ with the FBI, this is clear sign Merrick Garland was not up to a position on SCOTUS.
Are his actions being influenced by retribution, or to satisfy some major Democrat campaign donors?

I'd be more worried about searching MAL for chunks of capped-up C-4 than listening devices or miniature cameras in Melania's under garments.

Make no mistake this order came from the executive Branch! DOJ and FBI had their marching orders but will try to make Wray the fall guy since they did not discover anything. They were looking for personal notes President Trump took regarding what we are doing to foreign leaders. It isn’t very good if it gets out

Meanwhile 0bama has 30 million pages of documents stored somewhere in Chicago. He had them trucked out there when he left office and promised to have them all digitalized and made public. Seven years later and not a single page is available, even to the National Archives.
When PDT is back in the WH, I hope that he has all four of 0bama’s palaces raided, as well as the warehouse where all of those documents are stored. If they haven’t been destroyed already, that is.

"President Joe Biden arrived in South Carolina on Wednesday to begin what is expected to be at least a seven-day vacation with members of his family."
Jill, if you pick up a newspaper, it may have mention of a RAID.

In September of 2016, the FBI leaked the Steele Dossier to Michael Isikoff, who then wrote one of the first bogus articles about the dossier claims at Yahoo News. Right after that, the FBI deceptively used his news article in their Carter Page FISA warrant application, as supposed "independent" verification and corroboration of their false Russian collusion allegations. Fast forward to today, and note that NYT reporter Maggie Haberman (in a forthcoming book) and some phony news reports (with photos), have accused President Trump of flushing classified documents down toilets. So, we should now be asking the question: Did the FBI just repeat their Steele Dossier fraud here? In other words, did the FBI/DOJ plant these phony toilet-flushing news reports, and then use them to falsely claim exigent circumstances in their Mar-a-Lago warrant application? The Republicans should be looking into this possible repeat FBI warrant application fraud.

Capt Merrick was trying to slay the Orange Whale Donald. His harpoon missed horrible and in doing so demonstrated to the world that he is and was not Black Robe material. We are lucky that 45 didn't allow his nomination to go through. Long live Donald.

One must wonder....
The raid was to regain custody of documents considered so classified that the FBI and DOJ demanded a higher level of security than a very wealthy former (and Future) POTUS had already provided in his secret service protected , camera controlled, locked down Private residence.
So, if the documents are so secret, exactly who is going to get to look at them to determine their usefullness in the next election? Won't diclosing the papers in discovery become a national security risk? How do we assure that EVERYONE in the chain of custody has the proper and required very high security clearances required to allow them in the same room as the docs? I am sure not all of those 30 FBI agents had executive level security clearances.
They are already sure to have breached the rules by allowing run of the mill FBI officers to handle and transport the docs. Will we be putting anyone who even slightly breaks the chain of custody in jail for their illegal activity? If the current coruptocrats control who gets security clearances then what stops them from denying any legal representative of Trump from legally viewing their evidence? What about all the lower court judges that normal legal proceedings must go through, are they going to just have to accept some deep state storm troopers word that the evidence is "Real Bad"? How does any one in Trumps position ever get justice that we the people will trust if we can never be allowed to see any of the evidence. Selective declassification anyone?

And so they come back, raid the residence, break the lock they’d requested, and take the boxes. What did they do the rest of the 9-10 hours?
