Here we go again. Yet another anonymously sourced report claims the long-running federal probe into Hunter Biden has reached a “critical stage” as prosecutors decide whether to charge the president’s son. This time the breathless story came from CNN. In March, it was The New York Times and The Washington Post insisting the probe over taxes, lobbying and other potential crimes was approaching the finish line. Sooner or later, somebody’s scoop will be true and the case actually will conclude. But count me skeptical that the ending will be worth the wait.

Republican Senator Chuck Grassley is hold the FBI and Justice Department's feet to the fire on Hunter Biden, demanding the agencies answer claims from a whistleblower they downplayed negative information on Hunter Biden in the lead up to the 2020 election.
Grassley revealed on Monday that 'highly credible' whistleblowers have come forward alleging a widespread effort within the FBI to discredit negative information about President Joe Biden's son.

So badly that now even avowed leftist Noam Chomsky is describing the current, anti-Russian censorship regime as being worse than the censorship regime in the Soviet Union.
That comment came when Chomsky appeared in a recent interview with Russell Brand on his podcast, “Under the Skin,” a podcast in which Brand routinely demolishes, or at least attacks, the totems and shibboleths of the modern liberal world order.

Hunter Biden reportedly did not register as a foreign agent while making business deals overseas, according to the New York Post.
Experts said recently it was a possible crime that could result in him being sent to prison.
The report noted Biden was registered as a lobbyist for domestic interests but not under the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA).
In addition, Biden could reportedly face charges regarding tax violations and lying about illegally buying a firearm.

Washington Post columnist Jennifer Rubin suggested that abortion bans in some states could actually violate religious beliefs in a column on Sunday.
Rubin introduced the subject by referencing a lawsuit brought up by the Jewish Congregation L’Dor Va-Dor against the 15-week abortion ban in Florida. The congregation argued that Jewish law "does not consider life to begin at conception or at 15 weeks" and refusing an abortion could violate their beliefs.
Though Rubin questioned whether this would sufficiently infringe on "First Amendment rights and the state constitution’s free-exercise clause," she still considered the issue "important."
"In any event, this is an issue the forced-birth crowd should care about."
