There are few RINOs who have been hit harder with Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) than Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL), save perhaps Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY). Cheney, as we've been covering for some time now, given her standing in the polls, is likely to lose her seat to Trump-backed primary challenger, Harriet Hageman. Kinzinger is retiring, after Illinois state Democrats pretty much redistricted his seat out of existence.
While speaking to CNN's Jim Sciutto on Friday, following yet another public hearing from the January 6 Select Committee from the night before, Rep. Kinzinger claimed that nobody would admit to voting for or supporting former President Donald Trump in 10 years,

Attorney General Merrick Garland is set to appear for a rare TV interview Tuesday at a time of intense scrutiny for the Justice Department.
At least two major investigations are underway that could be areas of focus when Garland is questioned by NBC News anchor Lester Holt.
One is the far-reaching Jan. 6 investigation, which appears to be reaching beyond people facing charges for participating in the Capitol riot, extending to former President Donald Trump and his inner circle. (Snip) The other is the investigation into President Joe Biden's son, Hunter Biden, as prosecutors weigh charges for alleged tax violations and for making a false statement

On Monday, Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot proposed a $900 million to $2.2 billion Hail Mary offer to convince the Bears to stay in their home stadium of over 50 years.
However, the Chicago Bears stated in a press release earlier this month that they wouldn’t consider any other offers, even for their home stadium, Soldier Field. The NFL team reaffirmed that sentiment to ESPN this week, noting that they were set on moving to another location over 30 miles away.
“As part of our mutual agreement with the seller of that property, we are not pursuing alternative stadium deals or sites, including renovations to Soldier Field,

Appearing at Turning Point USA’s “Student Action Summit” in Tampa, Florida, former President Donald Trump absolutely ripped into Pelosi and other far-left loons like Adam Schiff, hilariously describing Nasty Nancy as a nut job” and a “psycho”.
That came as part of a long riff on Schiff, Pelosi, and her husband, saying:
“We don’t talk about what we should be and you say, ‘Where does it stop? Where does it all end?’ It probably doesn’t stop because despite the great outside dangers. Our biggest threat remains the sick and sinister and very evil people from within our country.
“Guys like [Rep. Adam] Schiff and people like crazy Nancy Pelosi — she’s nuts.

Republican Senator Chuck Grassley is hold the FBI and Justice Department's feet to the fire on Hunter Biden, demanding the agencies answer claims from a whistleblower they downplayed negative information on Hunter Biden in the lead up to the 2020 election.
Grassley revealed on Monday that 'highly credible' whistleblowers have come forward alleging a widespread effort within the FBI to discredit negative information about President Joe Biden's son.
'The information provided to my office involves concerns about the FBI's receipt and use of derogatory information relating to Hunter Biden, and the FBI's false portrayal of acquired evidence as disinformation,' Grassley wrote FBI Director Christopher Wray and Attorney General Merrick Garland,

Jared Kushner was diagnosed and treated for thyroid cancer while working in the White House.
Kushner wrote about his cancer scare - which never leaked to the press - in his forthcoming memoir, Breaking History: A White House Memoir.
The New York Times reported on an excerpt of the book on Monday.
In it, Kushner recalled a conversation he had with White House physician Sean Conley on an October 2019 trip to Texas.
'On the morning that I traveled to Texas to attend the opening of a Louis Vuitton factory, White House physician Sean Conley pulled me into the medical cabin on Air Force One,' Kushner wrote. '

The leak rocked the federal judiciary, the American political scene, and led to an ugly campaign to intimidate Supreme Court justices, inspiring one assassination plot that thankfully went nowhere. Chief Justice John Roberts promised an investigation to identify the leaker, and the pool of suspects seemed relatively small — the justices themselves and their clerks. Almost three months later, though, the leaker has seemingly escaped detection and punishment.
Are they even still investigating the leak? The Associated Press can’t even get an answer to that question from the court:

It is still unclear what exactly Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) Jan. 6 committee is trying to accomplish, but a bipartisan group of 16 senators proved this week the body’s work is not necessary to reach real, productive, commonsense electoral reform.
Negotiated by Sens. Susan Collins (R-ME) and Joe Manchin (D-WV), the Electoral Count Reform and Presidential Transition Improvement Act is perhaps most praiseworthy for what is not in it. Specifically, all of the highly partisan and harmful provisions of the Democrats' preferred electoral legislation — The For the People Act, which would have banned voter identification requirements, among other things — have been removed from this bill.

Ghislaine Maxwell has been transferred to a cushy low-security federal prison in north Florida to serve out her 20-year sex trafficking sentence for procuring teen girls to be abused by her and late financier Jeffrey Epstein.
The British socialite, 60, is now residing at the Tallahassee Federal Correctional Institution, which houses about 755 female inmates, according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons database.
Other notable prisoners who've called the sprawling brick complex home include Russian spy Maria Butina, terrorist Colleen LaRose a.k.a. "Jihad Jane" and nursing home serial killer Catherine May Wood.

Brandon just got back from his trip to beg the sheiks of Saudi Arabia to pump more oil to keep prices lower for American consumers, a trip made more ridiculous even than it sounds at first glance thanks to Biden’s heated, anti-Saudi rhetoric, his administration’s hostility to American energy producers, and the lack of any reason for the Saudi’s to go along with what Biden wants given his attempts to strike a deal with Iran and the fact that they make more money when prices are higher.
And, unsurprisingly, it doesn’t really appear to have worked. The Saudis will do as they please, particularly when Biden is

How badly have things in the US gotten, particularly in the realm of media and censorship?
So badly that now even avowed leftist Noam Chomsky is describing the current, anti-Russian censorship regime as being worse than the censorship regime in the Soviet Union.
That comment came when Chomsky appeared in a recent interview with Russell Brand on his podcast, “Under the Skin,” a podcast in which Brand routinely demolishes, or at least attacks, the totems and shibboleths of the modern liberal world order.
Watch Chomsky’s comment about the totalitarian state of modern America, a comment that went viral after being shared by the Post Millennial, here: (Tweet/Video)

Is there a dumber show on television than “The View?” I mean, Joy Reid’s MSNBC show exists, so probably, but it’s got to be up there, right?
On Monday, the round table of liberal women decided to discuss the recent TPUSA summit that took place in Florida, which some RedState writers attended. Naturally, that meant lots of breathless accusations that in no way reflect reality. One of those surrounded “nazi” protesters who appeared outside the conference. Our own Brandon Morse videoed himself making fun of them if that gives you an idea of how much support they had among conservatives at the event.
Regardless, Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar,
