The leftist media really doesn’t want you to vote out Democrats over inflation and gas prices in the upcoming midterm elections. This has been a recent theme in their coverage in recent months. They finally acknowledge inflation is bad but they take issue with you holding their party accountable for spurring it.
The most recent example of this is a column from The Washington Post’s Catherine Rampell where she bemoans the fact that voters appear poised to oust the Democrats over sky high inflation and record gas prices.

Washington, Baltimore, Atlanta, Los Angeles and Milwaukee are on track to surpass their already-soaring homicide rates from last year.
Last year, the FBI warned that homicides in the US rose nearly 30 percent from 2020 and overall violent crime rose for the first time in four years.
The stunning trend in homicides has continued this year. In Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the homicide rate leaped 24.7 percent from the year-to-date compared to the same period last year.
Washington, D.C., and Atlanta, Georgia, have seen a 13.4 percent and 13.3 percent increase in homicides, respectively, Fox first reported.

During Monday’s broadcast of FNC’s “Fox & Friends,” former House Speaker Newt Gingrich weighed in on Democrats reportedly questioning if President Joe Biden should run again in 2024.
With former President Donald Trump’s decision about running in 2024 still looming, Gingrich said that “every week that goes by, Donald Trump’s presidency looks better.” He pointed to the record-high inflation, the border crisis and gas prices, saying people preferred Trump’s policies.
“[E]very week that goes by, Donald Trump’s presidency looks better,” Gingrich advised. “Look at his inflation rate, look at the price of gasoline when Trump was president.

Mike Pence criticized Joe Biden's stewardship of the economy but avoided any criticism of Donald Trump, who had called him a 'human conveyor belt' for failing to reject what he said were fraudulent votes in the 2020 election.
'Tough economic times are upon us,' Pence said Monday during a speech to the University Club of Chicag, which he used as an indictment of Biden's presidency.
'The economic woes now upon us have been caused almost single handedly by one person,' he said.
And, he warned, Americans 'know there will be more economic pain to come.'

A few days ago, employees of spaceflight company Space X released an open letter criticizing their CEO Elon Musk. Less than 48 hours later, at least five employees who orchestrated the letter were fired.
Good.
The dam is breaking. The “listen to meeeeee” millennials, who have had an overblown influence on corporations, and on our culture, are finally being told to sit down and be quiet. It is very much overdue.
But isn’t Elon Musk supposed to be a “free speech absolutist?” screech his critics. As I explain to my small children, freedom of speech under the First Amendment means the government can’t arrest you for calling the president a doofus.

Bill Maher closed his show on HBO Friday night with a harsh takedown of the viral upheaval at the Washington Post earlier this month.
“If you missed it, the Washington Post recently got embroiled in a self-inflicted s—storm when one of their best reporters David Weigel retweeted, not tweeted, retweeted this joke: ‘Every girl is bi. You just have to figure out if it’s polar or sexual,'” Maher began. (Video) Maher blasted the “unlicensed daycare center that is today’s newsroom” for going “apes—,” pointing to reporter Felicia Sonmez’s tweet publicly shaming Weigel, who had removed the retweeted and apologized.

Following a slew of violent attacks on pro-life pregnancy centers, New York Governor Kathy Hochul (D) is inexplicably amping up the rhetoric against pro-lifers, calling them “neanderthals.”
Hochul on Monday signed legislation to boost abortion “rights” and “empower” abortion providers in the Empire State.
“This is the United States of America, where freedom and liberty are supposed to mean something,” the Democrat said. “It’s the rock upon which we were founded. It is supposed to mean something. Except in the eyes of some neanderthals who say, women are not entitled to those rights.”

Roundly rebuking his neo-liberal globalist political philosophy, the French public has refused to grant President Emmanuel Macron a parliamentary majority as Marine Le Pen’s populists on the right and an ecological alliance on the left surged at the ballot box to strip the once self-described ‘Jupitarean’ leader of his ability to govern France firmly.
Just under two months after securing a second term as President of France, Emmanuel Macron and his Ensemble! coalition have suffered a disastrous result in the final round of voting in the parliamentary elections on Sunday, securing just 245 seats, far short of the 289 necessary to maintain a governing majority and

President Joe Biden has repeatedly touted the country’s “job recovery” since he took office, even declaring earlier this week that his administration’s efforts “created the greatest job recovery in American history.”
Economists and fact checkers, however, are unconvinced that Biden played much of a role in the numbers.
The U.S. plummeted into a recession in March 2020 as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, with a swiftness not seen since the Great Depression, the Congressional Research Service later found. Since then, restrictions imposed as a result of the pandemic have continued to loosen — allowing Americans to head back to jobs they essentially already have.

We have all seen these protests where leftist agitators fill roadways with demonstrators, blocking cars, and shutting down the streets. But this time, motorists in Rome were not just going to sit idly by and let their lives be disrupted by leftist demonstrators.
How many times have you watched these protests that shut down the roads and wondered why drivers don’t just get out of their cars en masse and start physically draging the screeching demonstrators out of the way?

Fauci, the head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), made the remarks while appearing virtually at the Health, Education, Labor & Pensions Committee hearing on June 16, during an exchange with Sen. Roger Marshall (R-Kansas).
“The NIH is still funding research in China, at least $8 million since 2020. In the Intelligence Community’s 2022 Annual Threat Assessment, the Chinese Communist Party is presented as one of the top threats to the United States, along with Russia, Iran, Syria, and North Korea. To my knowledge, only China is receiving U.S. research dollars,” said the senator during the hearing. “When will you as director
