Joe Biden is letting one of the largest illegal migrant caravans in history move into the U.S., with no effort to stop it.
Texas's governor, Greg Abbott, isn't.
According to a very interesting report by Todd Bensman of the Center for Immigration Studies, the record-sized 15,000-strong caravan has run into interference from the Texas governor, and his counterpart in the adjacent Mexican state of Coahuila, who had the foresight to sign an agreement in April about border security. Bensman writes:
(Snip) But now those thousands of federal permit holders have collided with an unusual and wide-ranging Coahuila State police roadblock operation that is systematically halting buses carrying the migrants

The migrants are infuriated. Great. They need to go home and start trying to improve their own country.

Packs of illegal alien invaders (clutching Wic cards and food stamps) are coming to grocery store check stands lines near you. And your public schools, ERs and legal systems are going to be overwhelmed with illiterate, non-English speakers. Biden did this.

I'm not impressed. This should have been started 17 months ago because it's an illegal invasion from foreign countries, many of them designated terrorist havens. States have the right to protect themselves and their citizens but now we have millions of illegals scattered throughout the country causing unknown havoc and danger.

Oh ,don't worry. Soon, Biden and Obama will have them educated to the point where they know how to vote democrat- but not quite enough to find a job...

With all respect to #5, voting democrat IS THEIR JOB. Their only job. They get access to basic life services via the government portal, paid for by those of us who work and pay taxes, in return for voting democrat.
Never have I experienced a government willing to throw money at everyone around the world, and ignore and hold in contempt the middle class Americans who keep this country running. Our retired people living mostly on Social Security, our Veterans, people who pay off their own debt, and others have bought into "the American way" now find that concept has been scrapped by the democrats.

Yesterday 79 busloads of illegals arrived in DC from Texas. The Coahuila state authorities may break up these organized caravans, but the coyotes are still hard at work and the flood crossing has hardly become a trickle. This is actually good business for the coyotes, who aren't fond of competition from do-gooders organizing these caravans of thousands. Meanwhile, it's business as usual along the border for the cartels.

if the 15,000 came through via Del Rio? They all would have to pass through Uvalde...pop 14,000.
Abbot should pick a Delaware town about the size of Uvalde and send ALL of the migrants there, to demonstrate "actual" impacts of Joe's Policy/Plan.

I know #4, but with Abbott’s record of of hesitancy to do bold follow through, I am going to encourage him and really praise his effort here!! Thanks to Mexican officials as they are stuck with the heavy lifting. I am thankful for all efforts to thwart Baden’s evil invasion!!
Thank you Governor Abbott!!!! We are praying for you! I appreciate Monica too and will share this good news all around!

A little history.
Texas and Coahuila have had a relationship as long as there has been a Texas and a Coahuila, maybe longer. When the Spanish were setting up their outpost (mission-town-post) at what would become San Antonio, the supplies were coming from Saltillo.
For a period of time under Spanish/Mexican rule, Texas and Coahuila were combined as one province/state. (In other words, Texas and Coahuila are sister states.
From the time Santa Anna (aka Santana) became the dictator of Mexico, instead of its president, the northern tier of Mexican states rebelled against this, some trying to set up their own independent countries. Only Texas, the furtherest away from Mexico City and the least integrated into the new country of Mexico, pulled it off.
The Mexican War did not stop commerce from flowing between Texas and Coahuila. (Don't know what California was doing and there was no Arizona/New Mexico to speak of.)
However, from those times to the Mexican Revolution of the early 20th century, the northern tier of Mexican states maintained a semi-independent status from the central (federal) Mexican government, and hosted many of the insurrecto leaders against the Federales, semi-sort-of supported, aided, cheered on by the southern tier of US states with which they shared a border.
(You know, every movie/TV show "Western" you ever saw about the border, from "Treasure of Sierra Madre" to "The Three Amigos" and from Pancho Villa to the Frito Bandito.)
Looks like Coahuila still has some of that independent spark.

Because of the lawbreaking federal government, some governors have taken the reins to restore law and order under their own authority. It is a great trend.
