Rep. Liz Cheney, who will likely be booted from office in November, has put on quite a swan song amounting to her signature achievement, which is her "Get Trump" Jan. 6 hearings. Just one problem: The public isn't buying it. According to Terry Jones at Issues & Insights, citing a reliable I&I/TIPP poll: Fewer than half of all Americans are convinced that the Democrats’ Jan. 6 Commission is making an honest attempt at discovering the truth about the mostly peaceful political demonstrations that took place on Capitol Hill that day, the latest data from the I&I/TIPP Poll show.

"Ignoring" is the typical press understatement. It would be more like taking an active dislike and tuning out. These tone deaf politicians have only their own self-interest at heart. None of the major issues plaguing the country have more impact on them than pushing the January 6th lies, especially that despicable woman RINO that I am ashamed calls herself part of the Republican Party.

The J6 hearings are nothing more than a 2022 version of the Stalin show trials of the 1930's. A total freakin joke.

The only thing I know about January 6, 2020, is that Trump was still President and gasoline was two dollars or less per gallon. Today is a different story with a fraud president sporting run away gas prices and inflation moving down the road to ruin. Don't tell me about an insurrection or a riot because that didn't take place.

The actual fact is no one cares except the zealots. This is ancient history to the great American public. Trump? Riot in DC? Insurrection? The concern today is about inflation and $5 gasoline ruining family vacations.

Joe Biden is either stupid, or thinks you're stupid. Because how else does anyone explain a speech like this, to the supposed working stiffs to the AFL-CIO Tuesday? (Snip for tweet). No more lies about reckless spending? Here's the whole thing. (Snip for tweet). There's plenty to dislike about this, from the 1940s proletarian vernacular to the heaping helping of old hokey Irish Catholic gesturing, as if the abortion president were actually Catholic and not a guy who plays one on T.V. for political benefit. The worst thing about it though was his incessant mockery of his runaway federal spending

Joe Biden's Homeland Security secretary, Alejandro Mayorkas, whose open-borders policies have created Swiss-cheese loopholes for virtually everyone in the world who wants to come here outside the immigration process, apparently didn't even follow his own lax policy directives. Which is why he lost yet another lawsuit brought on by the states of Texas and Louisiana about the law requiring him to deport illegal aliens convicted of felonies serious enough to land them in prison. A federal judge jumped down his thoat with a 96-page ruling. According to Fox News:

Joe Biden couldn't care less about Latin America, hasn't visited the place, hasn't visited even the border to the place, and now has a monster 15,000-strong migrant caravan heading to the U.S. which he will undoubtedly bow to, and let in. But here he was, host at the Summit of the Americas in Los Angeles, and his lack of preparation pretty well made him, and America, beggars to the hemisphere's locals. And sure enough, it was accompanied by the stench of urine from the nearby bums populating blue Los Angeles, which made the picture complete. Start with the earliest controversy -- the invitation list.

The inflation report came in, and once again, it was worse than the last one. According to the front-pager at the New York Post: White-hot inflation has forced the average American household to cough up an extra $460 per month, as surging prices for food and fuel put family budgets across the nation under strain. Moody’s Analytics senior economist Ryan Sweet calculated the figure based on data released Friday by the Bureau of Labor Statistics that showed the Consumer Price Index had jumped 8.6% in the 12-month period ending May 31 – the largest increase since December 1981. The Washington Post has turned itself into a national laughingstock as employees reveal themselves to be little more than immature high schoolers out backbiting at one another, some of whom do indeed seem bi-polar. The Post said 'enough' in the case of national politics reporter Felicia Sonmez, who, got colleague Dave Weigel suspended after he retweeted a stupid sexist tweet about women being either bipolar or bisexual, which was followed by spats with various colleagues who told her to take it easy, and then a companywide corporate memo written by executive editor Sally Buzbee ordering employees to play nice with other employees. In drought-plagued Southern California, the comrades have ways of making you obey. Fresh after nixing a new plan for a desalinization plant to provide water to residents during these water-lean times, they'd rather target individual water wasters at residences. They're putting "flow restrictors" on residential taps to stomp out "water wasters," same way Stalin's men worked to stomp out wreckers and hoarders. Apparently, paying higher bills for excess water use is simply not enough. Coercion is better. Water your lawn, get your water clamped to a trickle.

Our friends the Mexicans, as one might call them, have shown their "friendship" with the U.S., and more specifically the Biden administration, by waving through a huge migrant caravan for illegal entry into the U.S. According to Fox News: The organizer of a massive migrant caravan attempting to make its way to the United States says that the Mexican government has offered work visas to migrants, which would allow them to travel freely through the country. Caravan leader Luis Villigran told Fox News that Mexican officials have told him it will begin issuing 1,000 temporary work visas a day to the migrants in the caravan

The story begins with this tease, and then med sob stories of individual migrants. According to the White House statement he read out from his vacation lair at Delaware's tony Rehoboth Beach: The job market is the strongest it’s been since just after World War Two. We’ve got more evidence of that today. We learned that in May the economy added another 390,000 new jobs, bringing the total since I took office to 8.7 million new jobs — an all-time record.

John Kerry, who is the U.S. special presidential envoy for climate, stated at a recent event at the University of Southern California that the country does not need to put more effort into drilling for oil and gas as energy costs continue to rise. The most obvious sign of the increase in energy costs has been at gas stations, where the national average now stands at $5.01 per gallon, but utility bills are also expected to increase this summer. Republicans in Congress have called for more domestic production to increase the supply of oil in order to reduce the cost.

President Biden's Energy Department has proposed a new rule that would require homeowners looking to buy a new furnace to install a 95 percent energy-efficient one within the next seven years. The new rule would require that gas-burning residential furnaces be condensing gas furnaces, which reuse gas and water vapor that normal noncondensing furnaces vent into the atmosphere. It would require that all gas-burning furnaces on the market to be switched over by 2029.(Snip)The Department of Energy (DOE) estimates that the new furnaces will save households about $60 per year, a number that totals $30.3 billion over the next 30 years.
