Representative Liz Cheney (R-WY) said on “CBS Sunday Morning” that the House Select Committee investigating the January 6, 2021 riot at the U.S. Capitol has found evidence of an “extremely broad” and “well-organized” conspiracy.Reporter Robert Costa asked, “Are you confident that what you have found as a committee will somehow grab the American people by the lapels and say, ‘Wake up: You have to pay attention’?”Cheney said, “I am. The threat, and it’s an ongoing threat, you know, we are not in a situation where former President Trump has expressed any sense of remorse about what happened. We are, in fact, in a situation

On CNN’s Reliable Sources, host Brian Stelter dived head first into hysteria by going into a hysterical rant bemoaning that Fox News, Newsmax and the rest of the “MAGA media” probably won’t be covering the partisan primetime January 6 committee hearings on Thursday evening. Stelter came back from a commercial break in a tizzy over the hearings, boasting “this week the January 6 committee moves to prime time. Holding a key hearing on Thursday. With previously unseen material and witness testimony.”

As a member of the House Select Committee, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) promised Americans “there’s a great deal they haven’t seen” about the events at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021.Schiff joined CBS host Margaret Brennan on Face the Nation on Sunday to tease the committee’s first televised hearing, set to air in prime time this week.“Our goal is to present the narrative of what happened in this country, how close we came to losing our democracy, what led to that violent attack on the 6th?” Schiff said. “The American people, I think, know a great deal already.

Life’s a beach for President Biden.Shortly after the president and first lady Jill Biden were taken to a safe house after a private plane violated the air space around the home they own in Rehoboth Beach, Del., on Saturday, he was spotted at a nearby beach in shorts. The photo of the president, wearing a ball cap and carrying a couple of tote bags through the sand around 3 p.m., was obtained by Fox News. A couple of hours earlier, the president was rushed to a fire station by the Secret Service after the plane was detected.

After the majority draft opinion of Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization was leaked, the left quickly mobilized with the talking points that Justices Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and Barrett lied about Roe v. Wade being “settled precedent.” It was a garbage argument, of course, as there is no such thing as “settled precedent.” If there were, slavery would still be legal. Nevertheless, it’s an argument that was endlessly repeated after the Dobbs opinion was leaked. So, my question is: Will the same people who accused Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and Barrett of lying also accuse Joe Biden’s recently-confirmed U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson of lying about the individual right

Rep. Ilhan Omar, a Democrat, is again under fire for running her mouth — or, rather, her fingers — and offending Christian conservatives and gun owners in one fell swoop. Late last week, The Recount posted a video to Twitter of Rep. Ken Buck, a Republican, defending AR-15s by noting that they’re the “gun of choice for killing raccoons before they get to our chickens.”Omar responded to the video by tweeting the following: “Jesus Christ, Republicans will literally say anything to keep the NRA blood money flowing in.”Notice the use of the words “Jesus Christ.” (Tweet/Video)

Senator Pat Toomey (R-PA) said Sunday on CBS’s “Face the Nation” that he hoped at least half of his Republican colleagues in the Senate would vote for the gun package he was currently negotiating.Partial transcript as follows: MARGARET BRENNAN: Well, we see overwhelming support in our CBS polling for background checks, which is why it’s interesting that it’s difficult. There was a Republican congressman in the state of New York, I’m sure you heard about this. Chris Jacobs. He represents a district around Buffalo where there was an awful mass shooting just a few weeks ago, he dropped out of his reelection race.

“What Is a Woman” has dropped like a bomb into the center of the political sphere, drawing a wide variety of reactions. In it, Matt Walsh interviews a range of subjects on transgender ideology, from supposed “experts” on gender to a trans-man who emotionally exposes the dangers of targeting children with so-called “gender theory” (click here and here for more coverage). But while there’s been no shortage of public praise and outrage, those you’d expect the most to give their opinions are running for the hills. According to emails published by Walsh, movie critics are refusing to even review the movie.

Elon Musk has questioned why billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein's client list has not been released by the 'leaking' Justice Department.Musk, 50, shared a meme of 'things I'll never see in my life,' showing pictures of a dragon, a dinosaur, a unicorn, and text reading 'The Epstein/Maxwell client list.''Only thing more remarkable than DOJ not leaking the list is that no one in the media cares. Doesn't that seem odd?' Musk tweeted. 'Sometimes I think my list of enemies is too short, so.'The Justice Department came under scrutiny after it was revealed it conducted several leaks and borderline aggressive investigations on reporters and adversaries of then-President Trump.
