A Canadian teen has been arrested for threatening to open fire at a West Palm Beach LGBTQ event over the weekend, officials said Monday.
The suspect, whose name was not released, posed with a firearm while pledging to shoot up the “Pride on the Block” gathering and claimed to live in the area, according to reports.
The threat was issued on the Omegle social media platform on Sunday, cops said.
“The suspect, waving a gun in the video, said he lived in Palm Beach County, made anti-LGBTQ+ comments, and was going to commit a mass shooting on that day, at that event,”

President Joe Biden is walking back all his tough talk on the Saudis in hopes the perfidious princes will pump more oil to alleviate the global crunch that has America suffering $5-a-gallon prices. But rather than grovel in Riyadh, he should take his foot off the neck of the US energy sector.
Biden vowed to make Saudi Arabia a “pariah state” back in 2019 for Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s role in the murder of Jamal Khashoggi. But now The New York Times reports he’s looking to travel over there and shake MBS’s hand as a thank-you for OPEC’s decision to expand oil production Thursday. (Biden denies the report.)

A group of fishermen got up close and personal with a massive great white shark when it swam inches away from their boat off the coast of the Jersey Shore Saturday.
Jim Piazza told NJ.com that he was fishing off his boat with his son and some friends less than a mile off the coast of Sea Isle when he nearly ran it over.
“Great white shark right off the coast of Sea Isle,” Piazza says in a video he shot of the close encounter. “Look at that monster!”
He estimated that the big fish was 10 to 13 feet long as it cozied up to his 23-foot boat.

Two French fighter jets were scrambled to intercept an ITA Airways flight from New York’s JFK airport to Rome after both pilots fell asleep, according to a report that emerged Friday about an incident that took place over France on April 30.
AirLive reported:
A pilot triggered a terrorist alert over French airspace after falling asleep in the cockpit of a passenger jet for 10 minutes, it has emerged.
The co-pilot was also sleeping, but was taking an authorised nap within the context of a “controlled rest” period. The captain of the jet was the only one at fault, having fallen asleep accidentally during this time.

“The View” co-host Sunny Hostin railed against guns on Thursday, saying Republicans can’t be trusted and calling Sen. Mitch McConnell a “filthy liar” while branding the GOP as the party of insurrectionists and massacres.
As the hosts of the liberal gabfest raged about gun control measures, including red flag laws following a spate of deadly mass shootings across the nation, Hostin viciously tore into conservatives and called for the banning of guns.
Co-host Sara Haines pointed out that red flag laws in Florida have not hurt GOP candidates in that state who backed them following the Parkland school shooting.
“I understand what you’re saying, Sarah, that you’re talking about Florida, the state,

At a signing of the Freedom First Budget, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis tore into President Joe Biden for the economic crisis now hitting already struggling Americans.
“We have to look at what we’re doing against the backdrop of what’s going on in Washington, D.C. and particularly, there’s a fella by the name of ‘Brandon’ that people talk about that we have to contend with,” he said, sparking laughter from those in attendance.
“I see this news report where Biden is so frustrated that his approval ratings are in the toilet,” DeSantis continued. “He can’t understand. He’s lashing out at his staff. He’s blaming other people. He’s blaming the media,

In the wake of the deadly Uvalde school shooting that left 19 kids and two adults dead, the heated debate of whether to arm teachers or not has been a major topic between both parties.
In the midst of all the gun control talk, Ohio may soon allow teachers to be armed in classrooms.
HB 99, which passed by a 23-9 vote in the State Senate and a 56-34 vote in the State House, was fast-tracked through the legislature, allowing teachers and other school staff to carry guns on school premises requiring only 24 hours of training.
It would mandate at least 18 hours of general training,

Jesus said in his Sermon on the Mount, in a series of statements commonly known as, “The Beatitudes,”
“Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.”
Now that the majority of the camera lights and narrative-seeking journalists have left Uvalde, Texas, the community has the space to grieve–and they have been. But they are not alone and not without comfort, especially from our four-legged treasures.
The subject of this week’s Feel-Good Friday.
From The Oklahoman:
A Lutheran church in Kingfisher sent a ministry dog and a crisis response team to comfort grieving families in Uvalde, Texas, after an elementary school shooting left 19 children and two teachers dead.

The funerals for those killed in the tragic school shooting that occurred in Uvalde, TX, have started to take place. That comes amidst the relentless politicization of the event by the left and the media–despite the fact that in such a moment, there’s typically nothing a family wants more than privacy.
Yet, a “health reporter” from The Houston Chronicle (again, trying to politicize what happened), attempted to crash one memorial in order to take pictures. Fortunately, a group of bikers, who were there providing security, had other ideas. [Video]
If you watch the video, you’ll see the reporter hassle the bikers, saying he’s “just trying to do” his job
