President Joe Biden will address the U.S. Naval Academy's 2022 graduation class and commissioning ceremony this morning at 10 a.m. EDT.
His appearance before 1,100 graduates will be at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis, Md.
It comes at a time when the United States is sending increased military aid to help Ukraine following Russia's invasion three months ago. (Live Video) Earlier this month, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin told the House Appropriations Sub-committee that the 2023 defense budget includes funds to modernizing the U.S. nuclear arsenal, a 4.6% military personnel pay raise and nine more "battle-force ships."

Their view will probably be blocked by the enormous TV screen with the speech he'll read.

My father was in the Navy during World War II. I know he would be shocked and appalled at the state we are in now.

I think it would be more appropriate for Joe’s son to address the USNA graduation. After all, Hunter is the family Navy veteran, never mind it was only a Gilligan’s Island three-month tour before he got bounced for cocaine.

What an insult to the Midshipmen.

And of course he will go on about his supposed war hero son Beau - but ignore talking about his crackhead son who disgraced the Navy officer corps.

From that fat woke clod general (small G) Mark Milley addressing the West Point Cadets to president Life Alert aka the Jotato reading TOTUS to the Annapolis Midshipmen. What's next Little Petey Boot Edge Edge speaking at the Air Force Academy? God help those future officers in my beloved Navy.

Lucky them. Will he regale them with his days as commanding officer on The Bounty? Inspire them with the story of how Hunter was kicked out of the Navy for drug use? Ruminate once more on his military lawyer son who died of a brain tumor?

I've been to the graduation ceremonies at Annapolis of several family members, and having a fool preside is a sad thing. I've also been to a USN wedding at the chapel at Annapolis, and then too few years later, a funeral service for a much beloved nephew who was killed in action at that same chapel.
Annapolis holds a lot of memories for my family, joyful and sad.

Oh no, here come the "My son Beau" stories. You know the ones, like how his son was a hero who came home with brain cancer, like so many more who fought 'over there.' Did you know serving in the military causes brain cancer? Wow, dangerous job being military lawyer.

I think that it is an insult to have this fake phony moron speaking to people that are going into service for this country. He cares nothing about them other than for political gain. Look what the nitwit did with the withdrawal from Afghanistan. Thirteen American Service members died because of his stupidity.
