Representative Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) said Sunday on CBS’s “Face the Nation” that the hearings of the House Select Committee investigating the riot at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021 would show “new information.”

Congressman Adam Kinzinger of Illinois is a member of that committee, and he joins us this morning. Good morning to you. Congressman, do you expect this to be more of building a public narrative,

All Hillary Schubach wanted to do is something good for the environment. But after switching to driving a plug-in electric sedan, she quickly realized a new complication of apartment living: Access to a charging station. Schubach’s hardly alone. Even as it appears electric car sales are hitting a tipping point, those living in apartments and condominiums around the nation can find it difficult, expensive or outright impossible to find a way to plug in when they’re at home. With nearly one out of three households living in apartments or condominiums, the goal of switching to electric vehicles to fight climate

High prices in President Joe Biden’s America are forcing Americans to change their eating habits, a Rasmussen Reports survey released Thursday found.
The vast majority of Americans, 87 percent, acknowledged that they are paying more for groceries now than they were one year ago. That includes 93 percent of Republicans, 85 percent of Democrats, and 84 percent of independents.
The overall outlook is not positive either, as 64 percent predict they will be paying even more for groceries one year from now, with just 9 percent predicting it will be lower. Once again, there is a consensus across the board, as 77 percent of Republicans, 55 percent of Democrats,

Asian-American groups are getting $20 million in the new New York State budget to fight an alarming tide of hate crimes that has shaken local communities. The money in the $220 billion annual budget deal falls short of the amount Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) organizations had sought, but it doubles last year’s funding. “The Asian American community has never been properly accounted for in the state budget,” state Sen. John Liu told the Daily News Sunday. “The need is unprecedented because everybody is painfully aware of the anti-Asian hate that has accompanied COVID,” the Queens Democrat said. In March 2020, President Biden swept through Massachusetts’ Democratic primary with a come-from-behind Super Tuesday victory. He later topped Donald Trump by 33 ½ percentage points here, his second-largest margin of victory in November. Few places lean more Democratic than Massachusetts, according to political forecasters. But even in this deep blue stronghold, Biden has fallen hard. Just 46 percent of registered Massachusetts voters say they approve of the job Biden is doing as president, with about the same proportion giving him a thumbs down, according to a new Suffolk University/Boston Globe poll. Is this the hill that patriots will die on? Is this the moment when MAGA nation says, "Hell, no"? Is this the time when hardworking blue-collar Americans say with a unified voice: "We will not comply"? Is this the legal case where the Supreme Court acts as if it is ...the Supreme Court and declares Mr. Biden's newly created Bureau of Disinformation unconstitutional from its inception? Is this the final straw, where a clear plurality of Republicans "man up" and act as the opposition party should, and refuse to fund Mr. Biden's "Ministry of Truth"?

Former Democrat congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard has been a fierce critic of her party’s slide into full-blown authoritarianism and on Sunday morning, she offered up a provocative take on the Biden regime’s terrifying new propaganda and censorship entity, suggesting that a familiar character is behind it.
Last week, Americans were given a reality check on just how rogue that the current administration has gone under President Joe Biden when news broke that rabidly partisan Nina Jankowicz would be heading up the Department of Homeland Security’s Disinformation Governance Board, a chilling step in establishment efforts to control the narrative in order to retain their iron-fisted grip on political power.

An innovative face mask for cows, designed to reduce methane emissions and slow down climate change, has won a prestigious design award. The wearable device for cattle, created by UK-based design group Zelp, was one of the four winners of the inaugural Terra Cart Design Lab competition. Prince Charles, who launched the competition as part of his Sustainable Markets Initiative, hailed the ground-breaking design as "fascinating" at an awards ceremony in London on Wednesday, The Telegraph reported. The design, a smart harness for cows, converts methane into carbon dioxide and water vapor. Cows expel significant quantities of methane, an odorless

Actor Alec Baldwin pushed gun control Friday just months after Rust cinematographer Halyna Hutchins was killed in an on set sequence in which Baldwin was holding the gun.
In a Friday Instagram post, the Boss Baby star wrote “We regulate many things in this country in the interest of public health and safety. Drugs, cars, professional licenses, etc. We need gun control reform. Now.”
Alec Baldwin did not describe the kinds of “gun control reform” that he wants to see, but he did post video in which numerous shots rang out near a South Carolina little league baseball game on Monday.

Since about 2018, Chinese officials have been talking about the moon and Mars as sovereign Chinese territory, part of the People's Republic of China. This means that China considers those heavenly bodies to be like the South China Sea. This also means that China will exclude other nations from going to the moon and Mars if they have the capability to do so. We do not have to speculate about that: Chinese officials say this is what they are going to do.
(Snip) They do not want to "compete" within the international system. They do not even want to change that system... They want to overthrow it altogether, period.

Comedian James Corden opened the 2022 White House Correspondents' Association Dinner with a sketch of him taking over the duties of Press Secretary Jen Psaki, which included a cameo from a reporter she regularly clashes with, Fox News' Peter Doocy. The Late Late Show host eagerly took to the podium to take questions from reporters following a briefing with Psaki and President Joe Biden, but the ill-prepared Corden was immediately flanked with complicated questions from reporters. Among them was Doocy, who Biden was recorded calling a 'stupid son of a b****' in January, with Psaki echoing similar remarks earlier this month. Despite the critical comments from them, Doocy played his part

Just as the internet has been roiled by the news that Elon Musk is buying Twitter and plans to turn it into a free speech forum, the administration announced its nifty plan to stifle free speech. Of course, the creation of such an office is a tell that their ideas cannot withstand the sunlight of open debate. It’s also a distraction from the real issues a competent administration would be dealing with. (Snip) The Disinformation Governance Board, announced this week, is a mysterious creation with no known purpose or need and will be headed by a highly eccentric gal who has a weird history of denouncing as disinformation

President Joe Biden on Saturday joked about the popular “Let’s Go Brandon” movement at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner during his speech. “The Republicans do seem to be supporting one person: Some guy named Brandon,” Biden said as the crowd laughed. “He’s having a really good year. And I’m kind of happy for him.” The ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ chant and signs continue to follow the president around the country, especially after the president repeated the phrase himself during a Christmas call with children.Biden kicked off his speech with a joke about Donald Trump.

Conservative historian and scholar Victor Davis Hanson recently appeared on the Tucker Carlson show and offered his impressions of today’s Democratic party.
According to Hanson, Democrats have become the party of the elite and super rich. It’s quite a difference from the Democrats of years ago that claimed to be the party of the working man.Real Clear Politics provides a transcript: VICTOR DAVIS HANSON: Well, it’s not because, Tucker, they found a new agenda, this new socialist agenda that was so popular. I think what happened is

A common narrative from anti-gun activists asserts that more guns equal more crime. But those of us who own guns have known this storyline to be false all along. It never made sense, and now we have data to prove it.
According to a recent study by the National Bureau of Economic Research, there is a direct correlation between gun ownership and crime, but that correlation doesn’t align with the storyline from the “guns are bad” crowd. In fact, shocker… it shows just the opposite.
The NBER analysis used Tennessee’s database for handgun carry permit holders, and then cross-referenced that data with crime statistics in those zip codes.

Jill Biden is not an inherently interesting person. She’s been a teacher for some decades now, wrote an undistinguished thesis to get a meaningless Ed.D., and now functions as her husband’s nursemaid. She also lacks charm. And, of course, she’s White. Why someone thought a biography of her would be interesting is impossible to understand although a biography that took two people to write hit the market this past week—and completely bombed. (snip) Julie Page and Darlene Superville, both of whom are AP reporters, thought there was something there, something people would pay $26 for a hardback to learn about.

Earlier this week, the State Government Leadership Foundation (SGLF) launched its six-figure "Tale of Two Americas" ad campaign to highlight the stunning contrast between how states run by Republican leaders and those run by Democrats fare when it comes to issues such as economic opportunity, academic achievement, and safety in their communities. [Video]
The 54-second ad contains buzzwords such as "freedom and fear." The ad distinguishes how "Our country is a tale of two Americas. One full of freedom. The other full of fear. We have opportunity or hardship. Education or indoctrination. Rule of law or lawlessness. Strength or weakness."

The “working woman” culture has been toxic to motherhood.
I can already feel the rage emanating from some mothers. Hear me out.
My mother is a Baby Boomer. She came from a culture in which mothers staying home with children was the norm (which it is in most parts of the world, by the way) and mothers going to work while their children went to babysitters seemed very out of place. Her generation fought that notion. They wanted the right to be seen as equal partners in financially providing for their families. They wanted the right to go make a career and conquer their chosen professions

Sarah Palin covered a variety of hot political topics on Newsmax Friday, namely the White House’s new “misinformation” board, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, and Vice President Kamala Harris. During her appearance on “Eric Bolling: The Balance,” Palin told host Eric Bolling that no one in the Biden administration — or anywhere else, for that matter — should be in charge of deciding

On Saturday, the annual orgy of media self-congratulation known as the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner will draw D.C. elites and Hollywood stars together to celebrate the event’s supposed primary mission — handing out scholarships to aspiring journalists.LOL. In reality, the real reason anyone shows up is for the party. When the hangover dissipates, the money given to j-school students is easily dwarfed by the lavish spending required to put on the vulgar show.Orbiting the main event, a slew of pre and post-parties hosted by the likes of CNN, NBCUniversal, Politico, and even two Hollywood talent agencies is keeping the party vibe going all weekend.

Today’s doom scroll for Democrats comes courtesy of the NPR/PBS Marist Poll, which was out in the field last week with a survey of 1,377 voters. And it provides yet more indicators that Democrats are fast losing Latinos, which, if it comes to pass and becomes a real realignment of voting preferences, is, in the words of Ruy Teixiera, “an extinction level event for the Democratic Party.”
First, let’s look at the ethnic breakdown on Biden’s job approval rating:
On the question of Biden’s handling of the economy, Latinos are more negative than whites (thought it is within the margin of error, so basically a tie):
