Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) is the latest lawmaker to test positive for coronavirus. Waters announced her test results in a Wednesday statement, saying that she is not experiencing any symptoms. The California Democrat said she is now in insolation. “Today, I have received a positive test result for COVID. I am currently isolating and have no symptoms,” she said. “I am following all protocols as recommended by the Office of the Attending Physician and CDC guidance. I am grateful to be fully vaccinated and to have received two booster shots. Thankfully, I am feeling fine and recommend everyone to get vaccinated if you have not done so already.”

President Joe Biden has reignited the fire among already outraged parents after claiming their children don't belong to them 'when they’re in the classroom.''They’re all our children,' he said Wednesday, addressing educators at the 2022 Teacher of the Year ceremony hosted by the White House. 'They are not somebody's else children. They're like yours when they're in the classroom.'Biden also took aim at parents and Republican legislators who have spearheaded efforts to ban books and bar sexually explicit or overly politically correct curriculum. 'Today, there are too many politicians trying to score political points banning books, even math books,' the president said.

Following Elon Musk’s purchase of Twitter last week, which was a triumphant victory in the ongoing war over free speech, the Biden Regime announced the creation of a “Disinformation Governance Board” that will be tasked with silencing anything deemed to be misinformation that’s related to homeland security. And, yes. It’s just as dystopian and creepy as it sounds. The new board will operate under the authority of the Department of Homeland security with a special focus on Russia and “irregular migration,” according to the Post Millennial.

Joe Biden is considering reneging on a campaign promise to cancel limited amounts of student debt, and is now mulling far more substantial coverage of the $1.6trillion in debt owed by 43,000 people. Biden alluded to his plan during a meeting on Monday with the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, where he told Rep. Tony Cardenas, a California Democrat, that he had plans that would please the group. The president previously supported canceling up to $10,000 of debt per student, but is now said to be open to forgiving a larger - if unspecified amount. It also remains unclear exactly how many students could be affected,

President Joe Biden is banning traditional incandescent lightbulbs in a push to be more energy efficient, but critics claim the switch to LED alternatives will prove costly for poorer Americans.
The Department of Energy (DOE) adopted two new rules Tuesday that strengthen energy efficiency standards for lightbulbs and will effectively phase out the sale of traditional bulbs by next year.
However, consumer analysts allege that not only are LED bulbs more expensive, costing nearly $4 each as opposed to $1 for an incandescent bulb, but are often not stocked in stores in lower-income communities. Around 30 percent of the two billion bulbs sold in the US every year are incandescent.

Joe Biden is in trouble. His Democrats are collapsing at the polls based on his disastrous first term and now midterms are around the corner.
What's a failed president to do? Dole out the goodies, of course, some big ones in a desperate bid to win back younger leftist voters.
According to CBS News:
President Biden is looking at different options to forgive an unspecified but substantial amount of federal student loan debt — a move that would thrill some of his most loyal supporters and financially strapped students nationwide, but is a departure from campaign pledges to provide limited relief.
The president shared his plans during a 90-minute White House meeting Monday

In a sign that even liberals are no longer buying what she’s selling, MSNBC bomb-thrower Joy Reid’s ratings are cratering, falling to their lowest level since her show debuted in 2020, yet another very bad omen for Democrats who are set to reap the whirlwind for the seeds of racial discord that they have spent years sowing.Despite April being a heavy news month, especially with the contentious Senate confirmation hearings of newly minted Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson, a veritable bonanza for race-obsessed MSNBC pundits, “The ReidOut” struggled to attract viewers, putting up an average of a measly 1.1 million viewers in an indication that “the race lady”

President Joe Biden on Thursday asked Congress for an additional $33 billion in military and humanitarian assistance for the Ukraine, which officials say could fund the war there for the next five months. He said the previous money allocated for the Ukrainians has been spent. 'Basically we're out of money,' he said in remarks at the White House. The money includes $20.4 billion in additional security and military assistance, $8.5 billion in economic assistance, and $3 billion in humanitarian assistance.(Snip)The $33 billion request is more than double the $13 billion that Biden asked for last month and lawmakers approved. The Biden administration has sent more than $2.4 billion

According to a report in the Daily Star, a UK tabloid, some scientists are now predicting that the world will run out of food in 27 years. 27 years and 251 days, to be more precise…as of Sunday, April 24th, 2022. (Start your doomsday countdown at home!)
So, that’s it, the science is settled, apparently. We are done by 2050.
But, what if, say, 26 years from now half of us go on strict diets and limit our caloric intake…or 60% of us are by then vegan…or 10% of the projected population has been killed off by Lyme Disease/Islamic radicals/leftist economic policies?
