Former President Donald Trump on Saturday evening played the trailer of the forthcoming explosive documentary “2000 Mules” which reveals a wide scale ballot trafficking network of ballot harvesters across several swing states. Trump played the trailer at the rally where he is campaigning with J.D. Vance, the candidate he endorsed for U.S. Senate in this year’s Ohio GOP Senate primary. The documentary, the product of a years-long investigation by election integrity group True The Vote and produced by conservative filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza, has been long-awaited and is chock full of surveillance footage showing specific instances of people taking multiple ballots to drop boxes and making trips to several boxes

I picked this up from CTH—John Durham has a new filing in the Michael Sussmann case:
GOVERNMENT’S REPLY CONCERNING THE PARTIES’ MOTIONS IN LIMINE AND
RULE 404(b) OBJECTIONS
I’ve been holding back in commenting on each and every filing, waiting for something really new to come up. What we see here is a very nice overview of what Durham refers to as a “joint venture”. In other words, a conspiracy involving two or more persons. When you substitute the true names for the descriptive monikers (Tech Executive-1, and so forth) you end up with a very nice narrative that describes the interaction among the players in the joint venture or conspiracy.

Most Americans identify the economy as the top issue in determining how they will vote in the future election, a Redfield & Wilton Strategies survey released this week found.
While President Biden continues to struggle with souring approval ratings across the board — a trend that has plagued his presidency — 58 percent of eligible U.S. voters say the economy is the top issue that will determine how they vote in the November 8, 2022 midterm election. No other issue came close, as 32 percent said “healthcare” will likely determine their vote, followed by immigration (28 percent), government spending (23 percent), the coronavirus pandemic (23 percent) and abortion (20 percent).

Very few parts of Russian society have drawn more interest than the so-called “oligarchs.” These are incredibly wealthy men with political connections to Putin’s inner circle because, in the totalitarian kleptocracy that is Russia under Vladimir Putin, if you don’t have political ties to Putin’s inner circle, wealth doesn’t bring you power; it brings you a one-way trip to a Siberian labor camp.
The first generation of Russian oligarchs emerged from the 1991 collapse of the Soviet Union, whose state control over the economy began to loosen under Mikhail Gorbachev’s perestroika, or restructuring reforms.

Truth Social, created by Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG), “successfully” migrated its website and mobile applications to Rumble’s cloud infrastructure, according to an April 22 news release.
This migration will ensure that the network can easily “scale significantly” on a “cancel-culture-free” cloud platform, the release said.
Truth Social is the first significant customer to onboard Rumble’s cloud business service.

Bill Gates is worth $132 billion, but apparently, he still needs to go beg other rich people for money to fund his various pet projects. One of those includes the climate change hysteria the Microsoft founder pushes, and that recently led him to contact Elon Musk, the billionaire who is attempting to buy Twitter.
In leaked text messages, Gates, who has been connected to now-deceased serial abuser Jeffrey Epstein, is seen pushing Musk to contribute to a supposedly philanthropic effort to combat climate change. President Joe Biden tore into the GOP as the 'MAGA party' following the release of an explosive tape of House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy in the days after the Capitol riot, termed a party dominated by figures like Ted Cruz as a 'different breed of cat.'The president referenced newly revealed audiotapes of McCarthy (R-Calif.) fuming about Trump and claiming he admonished the former president in a private phone call. One excerpt has McCarthy claiming that Trump 'told me he does have some responsibility for what happened.''I've had it with this guy. What he did is unacceptable,' McCarthy can be heard telling fellow House leaders

The newly released tape of the House minority leader suggesting the resignation of President Trump may bespeak a swamp that's more contaminated than any of us can imagine. First, who did the recording? And second, who released it? CNBC reports that Representative Liz Cheney denies leaking the tape of her conversation with Kevin McCarthy. (snip) This is looking a lot like the tip of an iceberg. Are the phone conversations of members of Congress recorded routinely? Do they know they're being recorded? And why is only this portion of the tape being released? And why now?

It was a tumultuous news cycle this week, with scores of candidates to choose from for the week’s top knucklehead. Our Commander-in-Chief allowed himself to be manhandled by the Easter Bunny, and his lady in waiting, Vice-President Kamala Harris, waxed poetic about how exciting space is. Yet neither of those options even receive an honorable mention this week. Ultimately, we could not ignore the imbecilic decision of former Fox News host Chris Wallace, whose defection to CNN has been looking worse with every passing day. This week’s announcement that CNN+ is closing its doors less than a month after they opened sealed the deal for Wallace.

Democrats and their business-backed allies are hinting they want the Republicans to okay more legal migration in exchange for keeping border barriers against illegal migration.
“I don’t think there’s any incentive for the Republicans to deal,” amid Democratic threats to lift the Title 42 border barrier against migration, responded Jessica Vaughan, the policy studies director at the Center for Immigration Studies.
“The Republicans know enough to insist on a clean extension of Title 42, not one encumbered with the Democrats’ wish list items,” she said, adding:

While the masks come off on nationwide public transit, Los Angeles leftists rejected the pandemic-restriction era’s end with their own mask requirement for buses, trains, and ride-share starting on Friday.
Residents in L.A. County, who saw the first reintroduction of mask mandates after those restrictions were lifted when therapeutics became more widely available, will still be required to wear facial coverings in line with guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

As we have reported numerous times in the past, psychedelic mushrooms are becoming increasingly popular in the US as a possible treatment for psychiatric disorders, with their main active ingredient, psilocybin, moving from the fringes of medicine, to become increasingly mainstream. Roland Griffiths, a professor who studies the neuropsychopharmacology of consciousness at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, received approval in 2000 to carry out the first experiments on psilocybin since the 1960s. He found in a survey of early study participants that more than half regarded it as one of the most meaningful experiences of their life. “The mystical experience

Before his untimely death ten years ago, Andrew Breitbart's most famous quote was "politics is downstream from culture." That concept is the basis for what is called the Breitbart Doctrine, which holds that in order to change politics, it is first necessary to change culture.Breitbart was partially correct. In a cohesive, functional society whose members generally understand assumptions regarding faith and moral ideals, politics does indeed flow from culture. But more importantly, culture is downstream from religion.Andrew Breitbart was born in 1969, when the fundamental destruction of the unifying American religious narrative and morality had begun.

For a couple of years toward the end of the last century, David Horowitz contributed a regular column to the online magazine Salon. In 1999 he gathered those columns in a book entitled Hating Whitey and Other Progressive Causes. To return to this book today is to recognize that it could’ve been published yesterday, for the issues it addresses are now even more urgent, and the bizarre ideological tendencies now even more extreme than they were then. (Snip) Horowitz takes us to the Sixties, as it were, by way of the Nineties, thereby shedding light on the process by which many of the intellectuals, rabble-rousers, and outright gangsters

The Dow dropped nearly 1,000 points today – the worst day for the Dow since June 2020. The Biden economy is doing bad and getting worse. Inflation is at an all-time high by some measurements and at 50-year highs by other measurements. (Snip) With inflation at all-time highs, Biden’s economy is a mess. The cost of gasoline has reached all-time highs. Interest rates are up near 7% now, the highest rates in years and still they are way behind inflation. This all happened due to Biden’s reckless spending.

Democrats are up a creek without a paddle as we head toward the midterms. They know that they are quite likely to get slaughtered badly. But it’s well deserved because of the horrible policies they’ve put forth, and the terrible job that Joe Biden has done. So, they don’t have too many options. They’re trying the redistricting game in the hopes that they can steal some seats that way. They’re going to try to play the Jan. 6 committee for all its worth, in the hopes that they find things to hurt Republicans with, like the tape of Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA).

Rep. Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez slammed the Supreme Court on Thursday as 'imperialist' after it ruled that Puerto Ricans were not entitled to the same access to benefits as other Americans. The court voted 8-1 that Congress had the power to exclude them from a benefits program that's available in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.
The verdict provoked outrage in Puerto Rico and disbelief among campaigners.Ocasio-Cortez, whose father's family came from the island, made her anger clear.

If you insist that the 2020 election was stolen, you’ll be accused of pushing “the big lie,” inciting an insurrection, and attacking democracy.
But if you believe that Hillary Clinton was the legitimate winner of the 2016 election, that just makes you a Democrat.
Allegations of Trump/Russia collusion have been repeatedly debunked. Special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into the allegations turned up no evidence, and special counsel John Durham is currently investigating the origins of the Trump/Russia collusion hoax. Yet, according to a new Rasmussen Reports survey, 72% of Democrats still believe that Russia “succeeded” in altering the outcome of the 2016 election, putting Donald Trump in the White House.

Barack Obama’s sumptuous Hawaiian waterfront mansion is squared away, and he is done reminding Joe Biden that he is far more popular than the present hapless pseudo-president, so what’s a wealthy alleged elder statesman with time on his hands to do? Obama could have taken up surfing or beekeeping or started appearing in movies playing the president, but instead, he appears to have decided to go to war against the freedom of speech. Two weeks ago, he called for “regulatory measures” to rein in online “disinformation,” and on Thursday he amplified that call, claiming that the First Amendment simply doesn’t apply to the social media giants

Welp, now that the left’s “Defund the Police” movement has turned into a raging dumpster fire, the left’s loony hood ornament, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who appears to know pretty much nothing about pretty much everything, has a new boogeyman: “militarily and defense based” U.S. foreign policy.
We need to really look at our foreign policy, and approach and change and shift our foreign policy to not just be militarily and defense based, but to also be climate defense based, and diplomatically based, and… uh… that right there I think is really where we’re going to have to push —

I’ll admit to forgetting this was a thing, but apparently, Democrat activists are still trying to get Marjorie Taylor Greene thrown off the 2022 ballot under the guise that she promoted an insurrection.
What’s the evidence to support such a contention? Apparently, the use of common historical terms and the movie “Independence Day.” I’m not kidding. Greene took the stand, and what followed was just bonkers.
Here’s a taste of how silly things got. [Video]
Greene previously used the phrase “we will not go quietly into the night,” which prompted a showing of “Independence Day” in the courtroom (again, I’m not kidding),

The Theatre Royal Bath is one of the oldest and most prestigious provincial playhouses in the country. The exquisitely restored venue, which opened in October 1805, is currently taking bookings for the English Touring Opera's rendition of Puccini's La Boheme in May.(Snip)But a very different kind of performance is about to be staged at the Theatre Royal Bath. House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy of California and former President Trump are on good terms following the leaked audio recording in which McCarthy said he was going to recommend the former president resign following the Jan. 6 Capitol insurrection.
A source with knowledge of the conversation confirmed to Fox News Digital that the Republican leader and the former president spoke on the phone after the audio was leaked.

Friday on FNC’s ‘Tucker Carlson Tonight,” Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) discussed his state government’s decision to eliminate Disney’s Reedy Creek Improvement District, which gave the multinational corporation the ability to self-govern.
The Florida Republican governor said the repeal of the powers came as a response to his constituents rejecting “woke garbage in our society.” Transcript as follows:
TUCKER CARLSON, FOX NEWS HOST: But here are the new rules. If you would like a big publicly held corporation to pay its taxes, then you’re a child rapist. Obviously, you’re a racist. You’re like Putin, which means you’re a fascist.
But you know what else you are? According to Joy Reid, you’re a communist.

Philadelphia reversed its decision to bring back indoor masking on Friday after just three days, and at the same time scrapped a new public health department COVID-19 response system that made it the only large U.S. city to bring back a mask mandate this spring. Health officials and Mayor Jim Kenney offered differing reasons. While the health commissioner framed the decision as one driven by data and science, Kenney cited politics and logistics. The day the mandate went into effect, a Florida judge struck down a federal rule requiring masking on public transit. Regional transit agency SEPTA lifted its requirement that people wear masks on its vehicles later that day.
