The depression-era comedian Will Rogers once famously said he did not belong to an organised political party because he was a Democrat. Yet today the traditional factiousness of the Democratic coalition has been engulfed by an almost Stalinist attitude that brooks no dissent on its most treasured policies – even though these do not resonate well with the bulk of the electorate. To recover, Democrats need to find a way back to their historic base of working-class and minority voters, who now seem to be heading to the GOP. Franklin D Roosevelt’s alliance between big cities, small towns, labour unions and farmers was often awkward, but it still achieved

As long as the Democrats control the laws, policies, procedures, and the actual counting of votes, any assertions about their coming demise in future elections is premature and highly questionable.

Serious question. With a looming hot war, soaring inflation, critical supply shortages, and a predisposition by the Democrats toward autocracy, what would lead anyone to believe there will be an election in November?

The Marxists have worked long and hard to get what that they have and they're not going to give it all up in a silly 'show' election.

The projected "bloodbath" that could well be coming may not change much about Democrats' obsessions for open borders and "Global Warming."
Whoever the Democrat Party chooses to foist their Stalinist lies upon the nation in 2024, just remember that their real intent is to build upon their pernicious gains achieved by the current demented regime. Authoritarianism, and reliance on racism allegations, are tough addictions to beat, and so "lip-service" will be given until such time as the Marxists again
fool the American people into giving them power yet again. And there's always the possibility that a declared emergency by the president could "temporarily" postpone the 2024 elections should the Republican tsunami that Democrats fear make the Dems act precipitously before 2024 rather than lose their power. Stalin would be proud.

"Their historic base" consisted of racists, socialists, and union thugs. It still does.

The demosluts gave up on the working class more than fifty years ago. Now their objective is to ruin the middle class and create as much dependency on government as they can.

The 'way back' for Democrats is simple, straight and uncomplicated. Start loving this country once more. But the cabal of extreme left America haters that has the Party in their thralls is not going to permit. The lesson for Republicans - don't stop them.

We get at least two articles a week like this. It's no longer a division between workers and the rich. The division is between sane and crazy and you can't fix crazy you just need fair elections.

Never underestimate the ability of the Republicans to pull defeat from the jaws of victory. Again and again, just when it seems possible to create a majority consensus for the benefit of "middle America", the swamp manages to promote some brain dead policy platform that insults and depresses their voters, enriches themselves and their monied interests, and energies their opposition. The "Bridge to Nowhere", failure to repeal Obamacare, the Chamber of Commerce plan for "immigration reform". Mitch McConnell, John Boehner, and their obvious contempt for their base. Somehow the Republicans will manage to screw this up once again.

The Razi Party is split into two mutually detesting factions- the Stalinists-the Clintons, and the Mainstream Rats, and the Trotskyites- Obama and Biden, The Squad and Bernie.

No, Joel- the left needs to keep on doing what they've been doing for decades. Their chickens are comin' home to roost over the next few months.
