Tested on the Omicron variant, ivermectin outperformed 10 medications, including one approved for emergency use. Early treatment can lower hospitalization, mortality and symptoms of long COVID. At nearly no other time in history has there been this level of fear generated across the world (snip) The depth and breadth of the strategies used to stoke those fears has been overwhelming. Emergency use authorizations for drugs that have not proven to be effective in trials, public mask mandates (snip) and the suppression and censorship of health information (snip) many of the early effective treatment strategies that can be used at home have also fallen victim to censorship. As I explained about a month ago, a virus does not have a cell wall. It is coated with protein. Ivermectin attacks the protein. But for maximum effectiveness, Ivermectin has to be given early on in the Kung Flu infection.

Or did they wall themselves off from that angle too? Seems they'da had to have known at some point before this study. We all sort of did.

Government and corporate purges of COVID-19 "misinformation" are looking more like a beta test to control the whole range of allowed debate in every society, regardless of how democratic it appears to be. The next target is purported Russian propaganda related to its invasion of Ukraine, and even a tech platform that has long advertised itself as a less domineering version of Google is joining the bandwagon. Privacy-friendly search engine DuckDuckGo shocked its user base Wednesday when founder and CEO Gabriel Weinberg disclosed it had started to "down-rank sites associated with Russian disinformation" in addition to highlighting "quality information for rapidly unfolding topics" at the top of search results.

Evan McMullin, whom I affectionately dubbed Ivan McMuffin years ago, rides again. As you might remember, McMullin is the dunce who ran for president in 2016 to “save America from Trump” and ended up getting a whopping 732,273 votes nationally—roughly one half of one percent of the vote. But have no fear! After face-planting into the brick wall of reality six years ago, McMullin is back, this time running for the U.S. Senate seat in Utah as an independent against Republican incumbent Mike Lee. The good people of the Beehive State should know McMullin has no business running for that office, or even dogcatcher for that matter. Let’s start

As sanctions cripple Russia’s aviation industry, President Vladimir Putin signed a law on Monday allowing foreign-owned aircraft to be re-registered as Russian for domestic use, according to state-run news agency TASS. Russian airlines would have the ability to seize and operate aircraft leased by companies that are no longer operating in the country over sanctions imposed due to the Ukraine invasion, TASS reported. Russian airlines have almost 780 leased jets, with 515 leased from abroad.

China’s state-run media is signaling that Beijing will continue to side with Russia over the war in Ukraine, after seven hours of “intense” talks between U.S. national security advisor Jake Sullivan and Chinese diplomat Yang Jiechi in Rome on March 14. The two sides discussed a number of issues, including Taiwan and North Korea, as well as a “substantial discussion” on Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. A senior administration official told reporters after the meeting that the talks were intense due to the “gravity of the moment” amid efforts to end the fighting in Ukraine. They also mentioned that Sullivan had also expressed concerns to his Chinese counterpart about the emerging Sino-Russian alliance.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has collected Americans’ financial records in bulk, according to Sen. Ron Wyden (D-Ore.). Wyden revealed the existence of a DHS financial surveillance in a March 8 letter to the department’s inspector general, calling for an investigation into the previously unknown activities. Wyden said he recently learned that Homeland Security Investigations (HSI)—a law enforcement component of DHS—was operating an “indiscriminate and bulk surveillance program that swept up millions of financial records about Americans.” “After my staff contacted HSI about the program in January 2022, HSI immediately terminated the program,” Wyden wrote to DHS Inspector General Joseph Cuffari.

I came across a fascinating interview excerpt dating from 2019 with Oleksiy Arestovych, adviser to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine. What’s fascinating about the interview is that Arestovych sets out in plain terms what’s happening today. It’s not exact, but very close—so close as not to make much difference. (snip)Arestovych quickly sets the interviewer straight: Far from leading to an end of war in the Donbas, such an invitation to join NATO at a future date would prompt Russia—with a 99.9% certainty—to launch a preemptive “large scale military operation against Ukraine” to prevent Ukraine from joining NATO.

The military compound in Lviv, which is only 15 miles from the border with Poland, was being used as a military “training facility” for Ukrainian forces. Knowing the U.S. and NATO were funneling weapons into Ukraine through this specific region, it stands to reason this “training facility” was targeted by Russia specifically because it was a weapons cache for arms flowing

Sarah Bloom Raskin, President Joe Biden's embattled nominee to the Federal Reserve, on Tuesday withdrew her candidacy to serve at the central bank, ending a weekslong partisan battle over her views on climate policy, a person familiar with the matter said. Her withdrawal comes a day after Sen. Joe Manchin, a conservative Democrat from West Virginia, said he could not support her nomination. His defection would have made her confirmation nearly impossible in a Senate split 50-50 between Democrats and Republicans. Biden had picked Raskin — a former Fed governor and deputy Treasury secretary — to be the Fed's next vice chair for supervision, one of globe's most powerful banking regulators.
