Rep. Richard Hudson (R-NC) introduced legislation Wednesday designed to streamline ammunition donations to Ukraine from American ammo makers. Hudson was joined by Reps. Victoria Spartz (R-IN) and Elise Stefanik (R-NY) in introducing the American Ammo in Defense of Ukraine Act. Hudson said, “In the face of Russia’s invasion, Ukrainian President Zelensky announced he ‘needed ammunition, not a ride.’ The American Ammo in Defense of Ukraine Act will do just that by cutting red tape to ensure American ammunition can reach Ukraine faster…America must support Ukraine’s self-defense and I appreciate Congresswoman Spartz and our colleagues for joining this commonsense bill.”

Former President Donald Trump said Thursday on FNC’s “Hannity” that President Joe Biden’s administration was “grossly incompetent.”
While discussing the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Trump said, “If I were president, if we have the Trump administration in there like we had tremendous years, tremendous success, economy, energy independence, all of the things, largest tax cuts in the history of our country which helped bring about the greatest economy we have ever had, this would have never ever happened. So when I look at it, and I look at the horrible things taking place, you wouldn’t even believe what is taking place.
The U.N. Security Council will hold an emergency meeting Friday on alleged manufacture of biological weapons in Ukraine at the request of Moscow, whose credibility on chemical weapons was questioned during a session on Syria.
Russia on Thursday accused the United States of funding research into the development of biological weapons in Ukraine, which has faced an assault by tens of thousands of Russian troops since Feb. 24.
Both Washington and Kyiv have denied the allegations, with the United States saying they were a sign that Moscow could soon use the weapons itself.

One person is dead after a shooting involving deputies from the Kern County Sheriff’s Office Wednesday afternoon.
According to Danielle Kernkamp, public information officer for the Kern County Sheriff’s Office, the KCSO “received multiple reports of a suspect in the 5000 block of Pierce Road, breaking car windows and committing assault with a deadly weapon. Deputies responded and located the suspect who was armed with a deadly weapon. The suspect then attempted to take an uninvolved subject into a hostage situation and an officer-involved shooting occurred.
The suspect was later identified as 25-year-old Deven Karl Moore.
McDonald’s announced Tuesday that it will temporarily close all 850 of its restaurants in Russia over Russian President Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine.
