Sorry Democrats, Your Problem Isn’t Messaging

Original Article

As the midterms loom, panicky House Democrats are painfully aware that the political portents do not favor them. They have been consistently behind on the generic congressional ballot, and their fate will be profoundly influenced by President Biden’s abysmal job approval numbers. Consequently, they badly need competent guidance from their leadership. They aren’t getting it. The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) is instead telling its members that their policies are not the problem. According to a recent Politico report, the DCCC insists that the source of their woes is GOP “culture war attacks” and the solution is better messaging.

You can put all the makeup on a pig that you want -- but it is still a pig. ( Hillary Clinton proves that in many, many different ways -- but I guess that is for another discussion!!!) Thank God the Demon-Rats are too egotistical to realize that it's not the message, but what the message is about, that is the disaster!!!

The article claims the Democrats need competent guidance from their leadership. Of course that sadly assumes that the Democrats actually have competent leaders. They do not. Lead by the least competent of all, Joe Biden, then Pelosi, and Schumer.

The problem for the dems is that their messaging is the only thing that has gotten them elected because the messages are lies about their real intentions to allow them to pull in votes. However, Progressives, infuriated after being exposed and crushed by Trump, threw caution to the wind and have gone full bore Socialist crazy with the expected and obvious horrible results. You might be able to "message" away picking the people's pockets. When you full out assault the people, you can send whatever "messages" you want. No one is going to believe you. These numbers, 66 percent of swing voters believe their pandemic policies have “taken things too far, 80 percent say that Democrats support defunding the police, 78 percent fault them for the border crisis, and 61 percent believe Democrats support teaching critical race theory to primary school children" show settled opinions that will not be swayed by "talk". Also, senile Joe is incapable of the doubletalk that BO carried out so well. Joe just gets angry and aggressive and further alienates voters that have also come to the conclusion that he is incompetent and that the dems KNEW he was when he ran in 2020. The American People might only be annoyed at the dems picking their pockets but the People have realized that the dems, as a party, have become dangerous to them personally. That is not a belief that can be countered and will, hopefully, last a long time.

Karl Marx understood and stated that people will not voluntarily submit to socialism. I suspect American Marxists are less comprehensive in their understanding and knowledge of history and indeed are mystified that their message hasn't resonated with the unwashed masses. I doubt that the majority of American Marxists have even pondered the thought that their personal property too will become owned by the state in the name of the people "everybody" owning an "equal" share of everything. Of course we know that the ruling elite will be more equal and the vast majority of those who presume that they'll still be in the cool kids club once we arrive at the destination tied to that message, will find themselves on the outside looking in. The real question shouldn't be how the message has been rejected by so many but rather how so many have fallen for for what would even surprise Karl Marx.

When what you are saying doesn't match what you are doing the problem is not messaging -- it is LYING! The yearly Federal budget now equals the GDP (Gross Domestic Production). To stay even, every cent of GDP would have to be used to pay the current Federal budget -- an impossible situation. And, that does nothing about the accumulated National debit from past years. The Democrats answer is to increase the debt ceiling each year and print more money. When anybody in the private sector prints money, it is called counterfeiting. The problem is wastefully spending money we do not have year after year. This needs to stop. Otherwise, we will reach the point that the value of the dollar becomes worthless due to inflation. At that point, the nation is destroyed.

I don't have all the answers but here are a few guesses (1) Vote harvesting (2) the race card (3) promising 'free' (it isn't really) stuff (4) inept spineless Republicans. (5) Constant drum beat from a biased media. The Patriots have truth on their side. But in this day and age it isn't enough.

They are ill served by "yes men" in the "entertainment" and "news" industries. Those people are in lockstep with the leftist agenda and tailor their products accordingly. This creates a false echo chamber that reinforces the dems' belief that the public wants what they are pushing. They are surprised by any indication that this is not true and must flail around looking for other reasons. They cannot accept that a big chunk of the nation doesn't want their snake oil.

If messaging is your problem, manipulation is your goal. The huge success of both Rush and Trump was not in their messaging, but that they both spoke what we were already thinking. They represented our cause to a bigger audience. In contrast the Dems are trying to drive their sheep from the fields onto their narrow path.

Competent guidance from their leadership? Just who would that be? There's absolutely no competent leadership anywhere in the demoslut party. It's why the party is in the situation it's in. Perhaps they could consult with Manchin or Tulsi Gabbard, but that would betray everyone in the party. States around the nation, including Democratic ones such as New York and California, are lifting indoor mask mandates. But the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention refuses to budge. It continues to recommend indoor masking in communities with substantial or high transmission — essentially the entire country — a stance that is particularly exasperating and harmful in regards to schools. The agency recommends masking all students ages 2 and older. In congressional testimony, CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky insisted that school mask mandates continue. The following day, at a White House briefing, Walensky, after acknowledging rapidly falling COVID cases, hospitalizations and deaths, said the agency would reconsider its guidelines,

Slowly but surely, the various COVID mandates are being relaxed or removed around the country. That’s even true in some blue states, where elected officials have come to realize that people are done with the pandemic and the restrictions being imposed on them in response to it. But not everyone is ready to abandon ship entirely. New York State still has a face mask mandate in place in the schools, though the Governor is ready to “review” it again this week to decide if the time has come to lift it. Similarly, in New York City, there is a vaccination mandate in place for all municipal workers

The bombshell revelations filed late last week by Special Counsel John Durham, and ignored by most of the mainstream media, could have profound implications on Americans' ability to trust our institutions. It's significant that the Durham filing further confirms what so many voters already suspected – that President Donald Trump was right about his opponents infiltrating his private information, and that Hillary Clinton's campaign consistently lied to the American people. But beyond those obvious top line revelations, there are even more sweeping implications that threaten to undermine the Biden Administration, the Democrat Party, and our country for years to come.

When people complain about “compliance costs,” they’re usually lamenting hundreds of billions of dollars spent unproductively by businesses forced to deal with ever more red tape. It hinders growth and undermines prosperity. Every hour spent on compliance is an hour stolen from creativity and productivity. Banks have spent $50 billion more on compliance in each of the 12 years since the Dodd-Frank Act became law in 2010. Small businesses lose 3.3 billion hours and $64.6 billion annually meeting demands made by Obamacare. This is vast financial damage and lost opportunity. Yet America’s compliance culture is surely even more corrosive to our general thriving — to can-do optimism,

"And I represented a middle-class district to a working-class district, but there was one very wealthy neighborhood," he told the National Association of Counties conference in an introduction to the dog story. Biden served on the New Castle County Council in Deleware for two years in the early 1970s. Americans are growing increasingly pessimistic about the current state and future of the country as the political phenomenon of misery takes hold, presenting problems for President Biden and Democrats ahead of this year's midterm elections. As the national mood becomes gloomier under the Biden administration, a useful indicator for measuring economic pain has resurfaced after years of dormancy: the so-called misery index. Created by the late economist Arthur Okun, the misery index became widely known in the 1970s and early 1980s during the presidencies of Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan. It adds together two measures of economic pain — the unemployment rate and inflation for consumers —

There is almost unanimous consent among polling organizations at this point that Joe Biden’s support, even among members of his own party, has been “collapsing across the board.” It’s gotten bad enough that significant percentages of Democrats, to say nothing of Independents and Republicans, have told pollsters that the first year of Biden’s presidency has simply been a “failure.” But does that mean that it’s too late to turn things around? Not in the analysis of Douglas Schoen at The Hill. But those gains are being eroded by the highest inflation in 40 years, and Rodriguez’s paycheck doesn’t go as far as it used to. A mother of three, Rodriguez has to budget $200 a week for child care
How Biden and the Democrats Reignited Inflation 7 replies

As has been widely reported, the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) released the latest inflation numbers last Thursday, and they were ugly. The Consumer Price Index (CPI) rose 7.5 percent during the 12-month period ending in January, its largest one-year spike in 40 years. This dwarfs the inflation rate of 1.4 percent that President Biden and the Democratic Congress inherited in January of 2021. BLS also reported that real earnings decreased 1.7 percent from January 2021 to January 2022. All of this is directly attributable to the incompetent economic policies of the Biden administration and wild spending by congressional Democrats in the midst of a supply chain crisis.
