President Joe Biden said Thursday that his gun violence prevention strategy is necessary to combat rising violent crime in cities across the country and that preventing the sale of certain firearms "doesn't violate anybody's Second Amendment rights.""Making sure that people who are not allowed to have a gun, don't get the gun in the first place," the president said of his push to institute stricter background checks for firearm sales. "This doesn't violate anybody's Second Amendment right. There's no violation of the Second Amendment right to talk like there's no amendment that's absolute."
The Doofus in Chief doesn’t realize he’s in a city with the toughest firearm laws in the country. If what he said was true, then it should be one of the safest. Of course in the world he inhabits, it may be true… And it’s dangerous talk about no absolute amendments. What’s next, shutting down dissent?

On the best day of his entire life Biden was a doofus. The difference now is that he's a doofus with senile dementia.

Is it possible—because there are no coincidences with the so-called Biden administration— that THIS is why the Democrats are all-in on letting criminals run rampant in our streets brandishing illegally-purchased guns and committing theft and carjackings over 200% over last year? So they think they’re creating a mandate for us to turn in our guns?

I think they ought to disarm all the capitol police and the secret service, because there's no amendment that says politicians have to have armed guards!

The only thing that Bidet has been consistent on in his life spent in government is wanting to remove the right of American citizens to have guns to defend themselves. He will do anything he can to take citizen's self-defense form killers or tyranny away from them. The constitution is considered toilet paper by the scum in the White House.

You could own a cannon when the 2nd Amendment was written. In fact, you can own a cannon today. You fill out the correct BATF form, for "destructive devices," pay a fee and you may own a cannon. The Mayflower was a private ship and had two cannons on board for defense. Privateers outfitted their ships with cannons. This has been fact-checked as false, yet Biden insists on repeating the claim.

There is no epidemic of gun violence.
There is an endemic savage population attracted to poorly run Democrat cities where they are free to commit crime.
This is like blaming 9/11 on airplanes. No, Joe it’s not the plane.

Those big cities like Noo Yawk and Chit-Congo don't need more Gun Control.
They already have too much of that.
(When Guns are Outlawed, only Outlaws will have Guns.....still as true as ever)
What those Democ'RAT cities need - and this is the Elephant's Backside staring them in the face, that they refuse to acknowledge,-
is THUG Control!

Joe may want to be careful of that word absolute. Clint Eastwood didn’t like it at all in Absolute Power.

Biden is right if, and only if, he has the horsepower to push through a Constitutional amendment nullifying the 2nd amendment. The 18th Amendment prohibited the “manufacture, sale, or transportation of intoxicating liquors" and the 21st amendment repealed the 18th. Biden's welcome to completely abolish the 2nd if he can get a 2/3rds majority vote in both the Senate and the House, plus ratification by 38 of the 50 states. Anything short of that and he could face widespread rebellion if Congress failed to impeach and remove.

You know when repeats himself several time saying he is doing nothing to violate anybody's Second Amendment right you know that is exactly what he is doing. The whole reason for the second amendment was to insure the people had the means to defend themselves from tyranny.
On April 18, 1775, hundreds of British troops marched from Boston to nearby Concord in order to seize an arms cache.(leaving the colonists defenseless) This was considered a tyrannical act by Britain. The states thought that one day in the future the federal government might do what Britain tried to do,

This is the third or fourth time in the last few years that he’s told that lie.
Remember: when the Second Amendment was ratified, EVERY rifle was an assault rifle!
Biteme wants your 9mm automatic banned. But a few months ago, he gave about 50,000 of them to the Taliban!

Yes, this one, #2, means what it says.
The RIGHT [not privilege] of the People [that's all of us, not some subset that you approve of] to keep and bear [ own them and carry them around where ever we want to] arms, SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED. And "arms" means any kind of weapon. ANY KIND.
Any restriction is an infringement. That is why they wrote it that way. They intended NO infringement. And for those dimwitted folks who tell Joe what to say.....here's the definition of "infringe".
infringe
[inˈfrinj] -- act so as to limit or undermine (something); encroach on.
So, "shall not be limited or undermined....or encroached upon".
That pretty much cuts out everything. Essentially ALL 'gun control' laws are unconstitutional. They INFRINGE.

"Making sure that people who are not allowed to have a gun, don't get the gun in the first place,"
That's the way it is now, Brandon. Are you unaware of the law that says a convicted felon is not allowed to possess a firearm? I agree that the law doesn't seem to apply to the felon with multiple felony convictions as our big city DAs don't enforce it, but that's an enforcement problem, not a gun control issue. I would suggest a five-year minimum sentence for a convicted felon if he is caught with a gun. No excuses, no plea agreement...five years in prison. Use it in the commission of a crime and add 10 more years.

FJB, read the Second Amendment. There are no if, and or buts in the statement. The Second Amendment is necessary to keep the Fed, that is you FJB, from fubaring the Constitution and the rest of the Amendments. It is the glue to our way of life. The amendment really is absolute.

That’s true except to do it you need 2/3 of the congress, 2/3 of the senate and 75% of the states to do it. There is a reason the founders made it so difficult to amend the Constitution. Biden and the rats are the reason.

Dementia Jo gave this advice a few years ago.
'If you think the person at your door is a bad guy, don't let him in - shoot him through the door.'
That advice is illegal everywhere in the U.S.

This is terrible news! It means that, when a sensible number of congress vote to remove Joey the Simple, via the 25th amendment...he can just REFUSE to leave, and continue to rule.
