The CDC COVID-19 record card you get with your vaccine is too large to fit in your wallet, yet small enough to be easily misplaced.
But the little cardboard cards are becoming increasingly important if you want to get out of the house, as venues in the Twin Cities and elsewhere require that they be shown if you want to see a show or dine out. As of Jan. 19, Minneapolis and St. Paul started requiring patrons to show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test to dine in bars, restaurants and other places where food and drinks are served.(Snip)Blinged-up vaccine card holders allow you

My procedure involves extending the middle finger of my right hand fully, while leaving the other fingers clenched. Sometimes, I shake it a bit for emphasis. It is never misunderstood.

BTW, don't forget your passport that show which race, creed and color you are. Another passport if you have any sexual diseases, if you have AIDS...and I am sure they will still add yet another passport.

Sew it on your left chest. Don’t go anywhere without it. Heaven help us.

OP, they made the card an awkward size to carry for two reasons. The first reason was so that it would be obvious if you had one. The second reason was to create a demand for electronic "vaccine passports" because it was too difficult to carry and regularly show your vaccination card.

Those vaccine cards can easily be counterfeited in places like Mexico. They really could not have made them easier to counterfeit.

Since I got the first three shots, I got a card. Fits in my wallet. Nobody has asked me for proof since Florida is Free. If some business asked me for proof, I would stop going there.

Here, you can carry mine, be sure you stick it where the sun won't shine. But a couple of enterprising nurses have figured out a way around this. Did anyone really need an excuse to say out of Mpls-St.Paul?

Yep, I know the perfect place to keep it, and you can feel free to show it for all who ask to see. But be careful because you're likely to be the "butt" of some jokester. This gives "show us your papers" a whole new dimension.
So what happens if EVERYONE with a brain AVOIDS places that require "your papers'? After a whole bunch of businesses can't pay their bills and go bankrupt, you might actually get some of your freedom back as politician authoritarians walk back their stupidity. Those people who don't much care about freedom can easily move to CUBA, comrade.

This is very discriminatory against minorities. They can't get to places to get a card, don't have smartphones or computers.

I am glad that I live in Texas.
We are not participating in this nonsense.
I've been vaccinated since March and boosted in December, and am through with playing contagion theatre.
The card stays in the console of my pickup.

First: go to your local hardware store and buy a roll of clear Duct Tape
Then: go to your favorite craft store and buy some non-toxic glue, maybe Elmer's?
Then, apply some glue to the back of the ID. Then stick it on your forehead.
Then take a strip of clear Duct Tape long enough to cover the card with a half inch overlap and affix it to the passport on your forehead.
When showering, you can put a plastic bag over your head, just make sure it's will cover the mask which has now been sutured to your face.

Our overloads haven't completely thought this CDC vaccination status business through thoroughly. Why not tatoo a scanable bar code on your wrist that will access a national database? It's happened before to identify undesirables, why not apply it to the government's desirables. No tatoo, no soup for you. It's black mirror time.

I don’t have one and don’t plan on getting one. My incredibly elderly mother got both Moderna shots (she passed away a few months later, but not from Covid and I’m pretty sure not from the shot), and I snapped a picture of “her papers” on my phone. Showing my phone picture sufficed for those occasions I had to show she’d been vaccinated (ah, the world of assisted living). Just thought I’d share for those of you who are forced to show proof.

As a federal government agency, the CDC didn't think to make these cards easily portable, even though the plan all along was to make people carry and display their "plague passports" on demand. This article features fun tips on how to comply with style and panache, including where to buy "Fauci Ouchie Pouchies." Will the USA still be a going concern 10 years from now? I doubt it.
