For more than a year, people around Pennsylvania have been calling State Sen. Doug Mastriano “governor,” in expectation of him running for the seat. He made it official on Saturday in Gettysburg, declaring his candidacy for Pennsylvania governor.
More than 1,100 people attended four hours of speeches from high profile Republicans at the event, including General Michael Flynn, President Donald Trump’s former National Security Advisor who said the nation is “at risk—everybody knows it,” and that now is the time for action from everyone.

The “public health” response to COVID has been awful. Ever since cases first appeared in Wuhan, the reaction has been marked by mistakes, reversals, outright lying and even political manipulation. We need a thorough accounting.
And in a fast-moving situation with imperfect information, mistakes are inevitable and hence forgivable. Nobody’s perfect.
But lies and political manipulation are different. Those are a betrayal of trust, and they’re especially serious because trust is the public-health community’s greatest asset. The record here has been terrible, and we need investigation and accountability.

The number of so-called breakthrough COVID-19 cases is not a cause for concern, a top U.S. medical official said Friday.
“I think the important thing is to look at what the denominator of vaccinated people is, because it is very likely—and what we’re hearing at least indirectly, and we’re certainly going to be confirming that—that that number of individuals who were breakthrough infections is not at all incompatible with a 90-plus percent vaccine efficacy. So, I don’t think that there needs to be concern about any shift or change in the efficacy of the vaccine,” Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, told reporters

The Arizona Republican Party has filed a motion to intervene in the lawsuit filed by Maricopa County against state senators, as the county fights against subpoenas to audit voting machines and ballots.
In the 16-page motion obtained by The Epoch Times, Arizona GOP Chairwoman Kelli Ward and other Republicans say they have several interests related to the legal battle, including being registered voters in the state.
The complaint “recognizes that the Republican Electors have an obvious interest in any investigation into whether they were improperly deprived of recognition as Arizona’s true electors,” the motion states.

In other words, a trust was broken.

Fox News host Tucker Carlson blasted White House adviser Jared Kushner as one of those responsible for subverting President Donald Trump’s “instincts” on key issues that affect his presidency.
Commenting on the ongoing protests, riots and general lawlessness taking place in the wake of the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis last week, Carlson used part of Monday night’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight” opening monologue to take aim at “key advisers,” including Kushner, who don’t understand the “gravity of the moment.”
Comments:
Senator Doug Mastriano voted for Act 77 (mail in ballots). Then he runs around acting like he never did it. When cornered why he voted for the very bill that opened the door to voter fraud that led to President Trumps defeat in Pennsylvania, he told a constituent that he never read the bill.
