NEW YORK — The British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell was convicted Wednesday of luring teenage girls to be sexually abused by the American millionaire Jeffrey Epstein. The verdict capped a monthlong trial featuring sordid accounts of the sexual exploitation of girls as young as 14, told by four women who described being abused as teens in the 1990s and early 2000s at Epstein’s palatial homes in Florida, New York and New Mexico. Jurors deliberated for five full days before finding Maxwell guilty of five of six counts.

Could the Judge rushing the Jury to come up with a verdict before the New Years break cause a mistrial?

No surprise here. I suspect this jury was eager to mete out some justice to someone in this sordid tale, and with the chief player rotting in Hell, she was good for it.
The big question becomes will she rat out all the big players now, or even get the opportunity to before she gets hung up in her cell like her partner?

Epstein worked for Wall Street firm Bear Stearns which was bought by Citi. At least that is where he started.

Now the interesting part. Will she exchange testifying against the Big Dogs in exchange for a lower sentence? Don't care about the Prince. I want Slick Willie to be sentenced to 666 years.

Here's a deal. For every prominent name outed, 3 months jail time taken off. 6 months for Bill Clinton and Bill Gates.

It is believed that Epstein was a blackmailer.
As for Maxwell, how on earth did it take a jury 5 full days to convict her? The evidence was powerful. Her history as part of his perverted scheme was well-known.
A real head-shaker, but they finally got it.
No hugs for her attorneys, poor babies. Sometimes the perp is just too guilty to be saved by clever lawyers.

“ The British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell was convicted Wednesday of luring teenage girls to be sexually abused by the American millionaire Jeffrey Epstein.”
So, Jeffrey He Didn’t Hang Himself Epstein became incredibly rich by paying himself for promiscuous acts performed by underage girls? Girls who both willingly returned and talked their friends into doing the same. And, his madam, Ghislaine, was found guilty of sex trafficking these young girls without any disclosure of whom she was trafficking for other than Epstein. Other than knowing that Bill Clinton flew on the Lolita Express at least 27 times, we learned absolutely nothing about Epstein.

If she’s smart, she has already turned over all of the logs, photos and videos to her lawyer to be released within the next 24 hours.

I'm assuming that all of her evidence of all the big-wig men who used Epstein's "services" are safely in trusted confidant's hands.
If she gets a really harsh sentence, or becomes the victim of an "Arkanicide totally unexpected suicide" while in prison, a lot of powerful men (and the Hilldebeast) are going down hard when that all becomes public!!!

Maxwell was found guilty of trafficking a small number of 17 year old girls for sex. But how does one tell a 17 year old girl from an 18 year old girl?

I'd say the bigger threat to her life is if she decides to rat out Prince Andrew for all his misdeeds. Its not like the royal family wouldn't take steps to grease someone implicating one of their own in this type of nastiness.

It's pretty certain she wasn't getting all of these girls for Epsteain.
Why weren't some names given in court?
Convicting her for this without putting on the light about who was Epstein's customers is just abominable

The pathetic Mrs McVain now brags that she, and her John, and all their highly placed super-powered friends ...knew all about Epstein ....and his evil doings.
There just wasn't anyone w/ the courage to do anything about it.
By now it;s on twit-herd

To answer the question of 'how did Epstein get so rich?' It is believed that big corporate money and foundations, etc that needed professional money management would direct that money to legitimate MM through him. He would take a small percentage. Of a lot of assets!!! Nice work if you can get it!
I have read that while some of the big names in Asset Management were aware of him, since he was directing funds their way, but he was not an active manager. The term 'asset gatherer' is used as well.
So, yes it was blackmail, and child prostitution that he used to get the assets. If the 'client' list is revealed it will shake the World! I find it hard to believe that will happen. Even if the authorities have them now....which I think they do.

The time to rat your friends out was before the trial, not after. The judge likely will not allow any deals for reduced sentencing. That being said, if she gets a long sentence, she likely will name some names out of sheer anger.

A major question -- how did Epstein get to be so stinkin' rich? Was he blackmailing all the rich and famous libidinos?
