A parent told President Joe Biden 'Let's Go Brandon!' during the NORAD Santa Tracker event with First Lady Jill Biden at the White House complex on Friday. The first couple hosted kids and their parents in the South Court Auditorium and talked to people virtually. A dad named Jared beaming in from Oregon said 'Merry Christmas' and 'Let's Go Brandon' - code on the right for 'f**k Joe Biden' - after his kids told the president what they wanted from Santa Claus. Reporters in the room said that Biden seemed unphased. 'Let's Go Brandon, I agree,' the president said in response.

Thousands of Americans will be forced to spend Christmas alone after airlines canceled nearly 500 flights and delayed more than 1,100 on Christmas eve due to staffing shortages caused by surge in Omicron infections.Short staffing due to the breakthrough infections has led United Airlines to cancel at least 177 flights for Friday, while Atlanta-based Delta said it has canceled 154 and Alaska Airlines said it had canceled 11, and JetBlue 71. More flight cancellations are expected during the day.
United and Delta said they were working to contact passengers so they would not be stranded at airports and in a statement United made it clear COVID is responsible for the cancellations.

Democratic socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Bill Bratton got into a Twitter war of words over the NYPD’s role in helping the homeless, in response to a viral tweet from the former police commissioner showing people sleeping aboard a subway train.“You know why NY’s ‘recovery’ isn’t happening?” Bratton wrote along with the photo of several people who appear to homeless sleeping aboard an E train in Midtown early Wednesday.“Why should working people & tourists be subjected to this? How’s it fair to those who need services? Imagine the cops’ frustration with no support to deal with it!” he said.

Social media giant Twitter is being sued by former New York Times journalist and best-selling author on Covid-19 issues Alex Berenson. Berenson is best known for his heterodox views on the Covid-19 pandemic, which has assailed the mainstream media for putting out demonstrable misinformation and untruths about the virus and the vaccines. Now, he is suing Twitter for selectively banning him from the platform and for tarnishing his reputation in the process.“Mr. Berenson also has a uniquely viable claim that Twitter acted on behalf of the federal government in censoring and barring him from to its platform,” the lawsuit said.

December 1776 was one of the darkest times for America: hyperinflation gripped the economy, Washington’s army lost one battle after another, the mood of the country changed from optimism to defeat. But on Christmas Day, Americans amid a raging Nor’easter crossed an impassable ice-filled river, surprised and killed an expertly trained enemy, and changed the course of history. Thomas Paine epically captured the days leading up to Christmas 1776 in “The American Crisis.”“These are the times that try men’s souls,” Paine wrote. “The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of their country; CORRECTION*

Leftism is driven by committee advice; it’s how the echo-chambering communal groupthink works. After the White House COVID “Winter of Death” messaging was ridiculed and ignored by almost everyone in the general public, the communications team quickly went back to the drawing board. You can almost hear Ron Klain instructing the team to find ways to avoid the ‘Grinch team‘ labeling. However, the ordinary emotional disposition of leftists and Democrats, writ large, is depressing, angry and negative, the result from a lifetime of blame casting.

I regret to inform you that Joe Biden is stumping for tyranny again. But before we get to the president, let’s engage in a thought experiment.Imagine a world in which Republicans control all three branches of the government, and in this world, there’s a national election coming. Further, the Republicans are heavily favored to lose. Now, imagine that the GOP then spit on centuries of precedent and introduced a federal takeover of the voting system in order to try to rig that election. Lastly, when they failed to pass it via traditional legislative means, they then moved to change the rules of the Senate in order to pass it anyway.

Texas Democratic Rep. Henry Cuellar said that he's done trying to work with Vice President Kamala Harris on border issues. 'I say this very respectfully to her: I moved on,' Cuellar told The New York Times. 'She was tasked with that job, it doesn't look like she's very interested in this, so we are going to move on to other folks that work on this issue.' Cuellar's gripes originated when Harris said she'd be visiting the border in June and a phone call from his office to hers went unreturned.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have finally shared the first photo of their daughter Lilibet Diana, six months after she was born, for their Christmas card. The family image shows Meghan, 40, holding up their giggling daughter, while smiling Harry, 37, looks on with his arm around their two-year-old son Archie in the portrait by Alexi Lubomirski, who shot the couple's engagement photos and the official family portraits on their wedding day. Archie, who looks just like his dad with a shock of red hair, is casually dressed in jeans like the rest of the family, and his face is on show.

Joe Biden says he's tempted by the prospect of an election rematch against Donald Trump in 2024.The president, who'll be weeks from his 82nd birthday on Election Day in three years, has previously said he expects to run but left open another possibility in an interview with ABC News' David Muir.Asked if he will seek reelection in an exclusive sit-down at the White House, Biden said, "yes," but then added, "I'm a great respecter of fate. Fate has intervened in my life many, many times. If I'm in the health I'm in now, in good health, then in fact I would run again."

As 2022 approaches, Democrats are privately and publicly expressing their frustration with two of their U.S. Senators who continue to back crucial legislation from passing. Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) recently wrecked President Biden’s hopes of destroying federal election integrity laws by not supporting HR1 or ending the Senate filibuster. Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) just crushed Biden’s hope of getting his Build Back Better (BBB) massive spending bill passed. Biden has been pushing to radically federalize elections, in spite of the Constitution.
