To whom do liberals go when they want to tell their career-threatening stories to a sympathetic listener? Well, to be fair, they have several choices, but George Stephanopoulos is perhaps the favorite. So Alec Baldwin sought out Stephanopoulos to explain how he came to shoot and kill Halyna Hutchins. Today ABC News released a preview clip of that interview:
In his first interview since the deadly Oct. 21 shooting, a tearful Baldwin told ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos he has “no idea” how the live bullet ended up in the firearm.
“The trigger wasn’t pulled. I didn’t pull the trigger,” Baldwin said in a preview

Aaaa, wasn't the lady behind the camera recording the event? That should provide a fairly good idea of what actually happened.

Is Baldwin trying to convince us it was an “automatic weapon”.
Why isn’t he in jail. No trial date set. What gives here

SUV's that hunt down and drive over white children and grandma's, revolvers that fire themselves... what a fantastical world they live in. I guess if the dancing candle stick form Beauty in the Beast can vote for Biden, anything is possible in their special little world.

Double action revolver. It had to be cocked and fired. Nice try but why was it pointed at a person and it was you who pointed it.

While it is possible to halfcock a single action colt, let the hammer fall and it go off with out the trigger being pulled, he had already drawn, cocked, and dryfired the gun several times(according to witness statements), if he had merely thumbed the hammer short of locking back and let it fall, it would not be over a new chamber, but rather the one he had already dry fired.
He drew it, cocked it, and pulled the trigger and that is that.
BUT...
IF he was being treated as any other "Whyte Man", mention would constantly be made that he has several times in the past assaulted individuals for merely trying to take his photo...and these two were pointing a camera at him.

Baldwin is such a slimy toad. He's the first one to demand accountability from conservatives but let HIM mess up and it's another matter!

Awek Baldwin got this idea from the kid who did the recent school shooting without doing it.

Maybe instead of doing his childish SNL Trump skits, he should have used his time to take a basic NRA gun safety course.
Naw . . .

To resemble a Colt Revolver commonly used in the Wild West during that era the firearm in Baldwin’s hand would have been a single action revolver probably of recent manufacture. For the firing pin to come in contact with a round of ammunition, in this case the cartridge contained in the cylinder that was lined up with the barrel. Two things would have had to happen, first the revolver would have to be cocked usually by the potential shooter’s thumb or other hand, which would draw back the hammer to the cocked position in preparation for firing; and then the shooter would have to squeeze the trigger which would cause the hammer to move forward under spring pressure, allowing the firing pin to strike the primer contained in the cartridge causing the revolver to fire. At this stage who knows what really happened when that revolver was in Baldwin’s hand? Forensic laboratory tests will tell if the revolver was and is defective in any way. That will tell the story.

#12 nails it.
The revolver is a single action, which requires manually cocking the hammer, pounds of force over about 1.5 inches travel. Can't be done without intent. Then to fire, the trigger must be pulled, typically 5 to 6 pounds of force on most of this kind of factory guns.
If the gun was broken or altered, that is easily detected by a competent expert inspection after the fact, like now.
My bet....Baldwin's just a liar.

#7, you should look up "double action revolver". It was a single action revolver.

One easy way to ascertain whether or not a liberal is lying: If they speaking with George Stephanopoulos, they're definitely LYING! If not speaking with Georgie, they're probably LYING.

Remember, not only did the bullet fire itself but also TURNED its direction, because Alec said he never would point a gun at anyone.
Interesting dark lighting for this interview.

Single or double action revolver, it doesn't matter. The revolver cannot overcome the laws of physics and move its parts without external help. Someone had to move the hammer to the rear or pull the trigger to fire the weapon. Only one person could have done that, the person who had the revolver in his/her hand. You did it you lowlife sack of crap.

Stephanopoulos is probably not knowledgeable enough to ask those questions about guns and gun safety. Baldwin did not intentionally kill the woman, but he was negligent, and all of his tears won't change that fact.

Would any reasonable person believe “The trigger wasn’t pulled. I didn’t pull the trigger"? Should any reasonable person believe “The trigger wasn’t pulled. I didn’t pull the trigger," from a noted gun hater? Would anyone believe an emotional, gun hating, know it all that states “The trigger wasn’t pulled. I didn’t pull the trigger"? Yeah Alec Baldwin proves improper discharge does happen. I do believe “The trigger wasn’t pulled. I didn’t pull the trigger" happened in this instance. Because for a know it all, Baldwin knows precious little about using a gun.
