Do you ever wonder why Democratic politicians frequently resort to name calling when challenging Republicans? Why do the so-called mainstream media always seem to have the same anti-Republican talking points? (snip)Alternatively, does it seem odd that most Republican politicians and conservative speakers often try to portray their arguments as policy disagreements and their opponents as “good people” with “differing views”?(snip)The reason for this is simple: the Democratic Party over time has embraced an all-encompassing ideology that governs the way their politics and quest for power are shaped. All Democratic politicians and their pundits embrace at least some key aspects of this ideology. This fact is not readily apparent to everyone

As you read this long, serious, very important article, you will get to this: the meat of Oleksiw’s belief:
A New Republican Ideology
A new credible Republican ideology must be forward looking and appeal to the idealism of America’s youth. Republicans can not simply say “our founders got it right—let’s not change.” Instead, they need to base their ideology on a clear agenda for building a more secure and prosperous future.
Republicans should explicitly ground this ideology in natural law and the inalienable rights of man. Natural law principles will reinvigorate the founding precepts of the American Constitution, explicitly differentiate Republicans from the Left, and inspire not only new generations of Americans but the rest of the world. For the sake of this article, let’s call this ideology “Natural Law Liberalism.”
Print it off if necessary, but do read this whole thing… Our future depends upon our changing our que sera. que sera (whatever will be will be) mindsets...

When the left decided that free speech equals violence then they reduced our options to simply killing them all.
And it seems like high time that we get started.
I did the high minded talk talk thing for the 1st 70 years of my life .It didn't work.
For much too long our kindness has been misconstrued as weakness.
Our logic has been called the Cheap Trick and clever device of white people.
I've had it with all that.

It doesn't matter which party controls Congress or the presidency.
The demonrats always control both the agenda and the language. The Pubbies always accept the language imposed by the demonrats - - and always wind up quibbling the details of the lunatic demonrat proposals - - instead of flatly rejecting and crushing them.
The Pubbies don't need a strategy - - they need a spine. Until that happens - - those gutless wimps will always cave to the vicious demonrats.

Not a bad rationale to birth a coherent and unified ideology for the Republican Party to adopt. A bit too much reliance on religion since, as the author himself points out, less than 50% of Americans do not attend religious services regularly. Tying conservatism to faith in God is a losing proposition.
A pet peeve of mine is the term Judeo-Christian, an adjective that is quite new. Christianity’s foundation is based on Judaism. The adjective “Christian” contains “Judeo” within it. The adjective Judeo-Islamic doesn’t exist even though Islam’s foundation is based on Judaism as is Christianity.
I hope the author augments his thoughtful argument with strategic and tactical advice on how to get conservatives on the same page rhetorically. I’ve noticed that many on the right are now calling every lame-brained scheme from the Democrats “socialist.” There is very little true socialism in Democrat policy initiatives. Statist, bordering on totalitarian, for sure.
Now on how to encourage Republicans to fight as effectively as the Democrats. Learn from Trump and grow a spine.

The Democrat Party is becoming communist. Understand that and the rest becomes commentary.

American politics is, and long has been about giving away stuff at the expense of "The Rich" and "corporations". We use the income tax as a social toolbox, with the code to penalize some and reward others. Who cares about the revenue raised, or the spending that disburses it?
Conservatives are inactive slugs compared to progressive ideologues. They depend on satisfaction and good reason to hold back the tide of change, and they fail because they fail to meet the proposal seriously with more than dismissal. They cede the field to the progressives. In a sense conservatives are those people in the advertisement where they are getting counseling to avoid becoming like their parents. Except they badly want to be their parents and their kids and future generations to become their parents, too. They have no counter ideas because that would represent dreaded change, and change creates personal conflict.

Sadly, modern day lie-berals have ruined the word "liberal", just like they ruined the word "gay".
Now, "gay" means sodomite, and "liberal" means Communist.
I fully agree with this guy's concept, but not the use of the term “Natural Law Liberalism”. Lie-berals would just find a way to hijack and warp this concept if it has the word "liberalism" attached to it.
