Facing the rising prospect of a major conflict with China, the nation needs senior military leaders who are, well, superb leaders. We're not getting that leadership. The problem starts with the most senior military officer, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley. The Army officer had an impressive career up until his current job. A light infantry warfare specialist, Milley held commands in some of the Army's most prestigious units. As Army chief of staff, the general won praise for pushing innovation in procurement and strategy. Unfortunately, Milley's record as chairman of the Joint Chiefs has been far less inspiring.Over the past year, Milley has given explosive quotes to

Millie is a four-star dim pencil pusher. Fire him soonest. Mckenzie, too. And SecDef Austin. We are dam lucky nobody has instigated a conflict requiring these clowns to make wartime decisions. None of these characters knows how to fight a real military fight, just the day to day political snits that are spawned from the Resolute Desk.

They may not know how to win a war but they know what pro-nouns to use.

Milley must not be fired. He must be tried for treason. I know how far gone our country is by the lack of interest in the revelation that he happily was back channeling our worst enemy. I guess we are so numbed to the hourly betrayals, the massive crimes, the total corruption of every vital part of our society and the complete breakdown of any of the usual moral codes, that we sit bewildered as we watch our way of life, our collective history be smashed into scattered junk.
A couple of generations ought to be ashamed of themselves for not stopping the leftist cancer decades ago. Sorry kids, we couldn't stop obvious liars who promoted stupid ideas.

All four star generals these days are politicians. When I was in the Army I was in a position in 1962 where I got to spend a little time with a three star who was on General Patton’s staff in North Africa and later in Europe, he was a nice guy, but of course he had helped win a real war. Todays four stars are all heavily be medaled, but have never won a real war.

It would be good to see/hear a meeting between Milley and Patton. Patton with Austin, Patton with McKenzie.

There are problems, then there are BIG problems. A weak United States military is a BIG problem. The direction that the current CIC and current weak leadership at the Pentagon has taken should be enough to make a large group of freedom-loving Americans very nervous. Perhaps if there was a moratorium prohibiting retired O-6 and higher from lobbying the Defense Dept. for, say, twenty years after their retirements, they may take the job of killing the enemy a little more seriously.

Milley is what is called a 'Knee Pad General'. When told what to do he puts on his knee pads and pays homage to the Political hacks that order him. While ON his knees guess what else he's willing to do...There is no depth of depravity Knee Pad Officers won't stoop down to in order to get promoted. PERIOD!

All those ribbons signify to me, is that he flitted from post to post, getting his ticket punched(like a parking validation)as he kissed behinds to make rank. In a real fight he'd be useless, and probably fragged!

Nobody with multiple stars got them through merit! Not in today's so politically correct military! 2 Stars and up are all butt kissers of the finest order. And they all smooch rear to the tune of wokeness!

4 Star General Chuck Horner (ran the entire Gulf War Air War) was likely one of the last competent generals to wear the Stars. He got where he was because he led by example out front and never gave a sh** about his career. If his “betters” needed a crappy job done right they put him in charge. The clowns who followed him were mostly Potomac Peacocks who would occasionally go out and fill a square then scurry back to the Pentagon where it was safe and they could get back into the palace intrigue taking place there and on the DC cocktail party circuit.

It says something when Milley and Austen both said they warned biden about Afghanistan, and they're are still in place, when biden said they didn't, making biden look like an idiot, more so than usual.

There should be an investigation into just how any of these people rose to their positions they have now. One can have an impressive career without really doing anything. Promoting people who can't do a job very well is common practice in many corporations if the higher ups like the person enough. Promoting people gets them out of the way of the people who do the REAL work. I'm sure the military does the same thing. Milley and people like him may have reached their positions of power in the military simply because of who they are, and not what they've accomplished.
