The U.S. Navy recently named USNS Harvey Milk after the ‘70s gay rights activist. Amid the current fetish of erasing heroes for blotches on their records, it begs the question: If we judge Washingtons and Jeffersons by their worst moments, why don’t we judge Mr. Milk by his? He destroyed the hero who saved a U.S. president. You may not know the name of left-wing radical Sara Jane Moore, but it would live in infamy alongside Booth, Guiteau, Czolgosz and Oswald if not for the quick reflexes of PFC Oliver “Billy” Sipple. On September 22, 1975, he acted every would-be time traveler’s dream at a San Francisco hotel.

For many, it was a brave and long-overdue airing of an important and distressing subject: a painstaking investigation into claims that predatory trans women have been pressuring lesbians for sex, published on the BBC News website. But a leaked email shows that the influential trans lobby group Stonewall attempted to suppress the investigation before it had even been published–and made the extraordinary claim that debating the issues was equivalent to ‘sexual racism’. This latest move to try to stifle free speech will add to growing concerns about the influence of Stonewall, which is paid millions of pounds for advising public bodies–including Government departments, police forces and universities

Fears were growing last night for the health of US President Joe Biden, who turned 79 yesterday. One source who previously worked in the White House said: ‘Everyone knew President Reagan was losing it by the time he came to the end of his term.'Reagan left office when he was 77. Biden is 79 and only in the first year.’(Photo) Increasingly looking weak and doddery, he is given to moments of confusion and prone to gaffes.Even his White House PR team can no longer cover up for his mishaps, such as nodding off during the COP26 conference, where he also broke wind in front of the Duchess of Cornwall.

The media have largely ignored the explosive allegation made by a DOJ whistleblower about the counterterrorism targeting of outraged parents that appears to undercut sworn testimony from Attorney General Merrick Garland. On Tuesday, a whistleblower revealed the FBI created a "threat tag" to aid in tracking alleged threats against school board officials, teachers, and staff as part of its implementation of a controversial memo issued by Garland last month. An Oct. 20 internal email from the FBI’s criminal and counterterrorism divisions, released Tuesday by House Republicans, instructed agents to apply the threat tag "EDUOFFICIALS" to all investigations and assessments of threats directed specifically at education officials.

Kyle Rittenhouse, who was found not guilty on all charges Friday in a controversial trial that has divided the nation, may possibly have a defamation case against President Joe Biden over reference to 'white supremacists' in a video, experts said. The video was posted in a September 2020 tweet, which could now possibly cause Biden legal trouble, according to lawyer Todd McMurtry, who helped Nicolas Sandmann sue news outlets for upward of $800 million for defamation. The now-19-year-old famously settled with CNN and The Washington Post after they deemed him a racist when he was seen in viral video footage wearing a MAGA hat.

President Biden called on state and local leaders to follow suit of his administration to advance policies that aid and protect LGBTQ people. “Transgender people are some of the bravest Americans I know. But no person should have to be brave just to live in safety and dignity. Today, we remember. Tomorrow—and every day—we must continue to act,” Mr. Biden said in a statement. Roughly 12 months ago President Joe Biden became the first Democratic nominee to win Arizona’s Electoral College votes since 1996. Today, his job approval rating in the state is cratering.
In a fresh poll from Arizona polling firm OH Predictive Insights, Biden garnered a 42% job approval rating. The president is doing even worse — 35% — with independents, a key voting bloc in a Southwestern battleground that has evolved into a bona fide swing state. Overall, 55% of Arizona voters disapprove of the job Biden is doing as commander in chief. Biden’s political troubles have not translated into an improvement in the standing of former President Donald Trump.

The full acquittal of Kyle Rittenhouse is now in. The result was hardly a surprise to many of us who watched the trial rather than the media coverage. The jury spent days carefully considering the evidence and could not find a single count that was supported beyond a reasonable doubt.
In rendering its verdict, the jury fulfilled its core function in our legal system. The jury was designed to protect an individual from becoming the grist of a criminal justice system. As the Supreme Court noted in Duncan v. Louisiana (1968):

Media types have two modes when asking politicians questions. If they're Democrats, the questions are softballs about ice cream and the things they'll do to save the world. If they're Republicans, the questions are meant to highlight the politicians' cruelty, hypocrisy, or stupidity. One journalist, though, learned that when that Republican politician is Ron DeSantis, asking a gotcha question about conservative governance is a way to bring a rain of fire down on the journalist's head.
When it comes to Florida's governor, Ron DeSantis, I tend to agree with a comment Matt Walsh made on a podcast, which is that DeSantis has Trump's courage without Trump's baggage.

There is so much misinformation about what happened the night Kyle Rittenhouse fired his weapon at four — yes, four — attackers that it’s hard to know where to begin. But let’s start with the prosecutors who promulgated and, indeed, created some of the slanders against the then-17-year-old. In the end, prosecutors Thomas Binger and Jim Kraus could not back up their lies with evidence in a courtroom and a jury saw right through them, thank God. To put it succinctly, Thomas Binger and Jim Kraus left a skid mark on the robes of justice.

With Democrats already facing the nightmare scenario of losing control of Congress in next year’s critical midterm elections, leftists could be in for a collective traumatic shock unseen since the iconoclastic billionaire outsider Donald J. Trump pulled off the upset of the century against the “undefeatable” Hillary Clinton in 2016.Traditionally, the party in control of the White House loses seats in the midterms but intensifying dissatisfaction with the miserable presidency of Joe Biden that has brought staggering inflation, unprecedented shortages and a flagrant disregard for the Constitution has some predicting much more severe losses for power-drunk Democrats who may be forced onto the wagon by angry voters.
