Biden's job approval plummets in swing-state Arizona

Original Article

Roughly 12 months ago President Joe Biden became the first Democratic nominee to win Arizona’s Electoral College votes since 1996. Today, his job approval rating in the state is cratering. In a fresh poll from Arizona polling firm OH Predictive Insights, Biden garnered a 42% job approval rating. The president is doing even worse — 35% — with independents, a key voting bloc in a Southwestern battleground that has evolved into a bona fide swing state. Overall, 55% of Arizona voters disapprove of the job Biden is doing as commander in chief. Biden’s political troubles have not translated into an improvement in the standing of former President Donald Trump.

I keep remembering how news orgs kept changing their methodology to keep Clinton’s and Obama’s pool numbers up. Hah! Biden’s numbers are so bad that nothing they do can help him. Things can’t go on the way they are now and something is going to snap soon. Keep the faith and be safe. Don’t let anyone manipulate your thoughts or feelings, be sure to know as much truth as you possibly can.

Take away the voting by the ILLEGALS and that 42% drops significantly.

The Arizona senate seat is now rated a 'tossup'. The Dems will have to unexpectedly pour a lot of money into the race to keep Kelly in office.

From Kenosha riots to Kyle Rittenhouse

The full acquittal of Kyle Rittenhouse is now in. The result was hardly a surprise to many of us who watched the trial rather than the media coverage. The jury spent days carefully considering the evidence and could not find a single count that was supported beyond a reasonable doubt. In rendering its verdict, the jury fulfilled its core function in our legal system. The jury was designed to protect an individual from becoming the grist of a criminal justice system. As the Supreme Court noted in Duncan v. Louisiana (1968): "Providing an accused with the right to be tried by a jury of his peers gave him an inestimable safeguard

The famous philosopher and mathematician Blaise Pascal once declared that "the only shame is to have none." The problem with shame is it assumes a sense of guilt over one's actions. In the age of rage, there appear fewer and fewer actions that are beyond the pale for politics. Take Adam Schiff and the Steele dossier. While even the Washington Post has admitted that it got the Russian collusion story wrong in light of the findings of Special Counsel John Durham, House Intelligence Committee Chair Adam Schiff, D-Calif., is still insisting that he was absolutely right to promote the discredited Steele dossier.

Sen. Joe Manchin of West Virginia has become a purveyor of political wisdom these days, simply for speaking out for the sensible center. Earlier this month, he drove progressives crazy with another aphorism of common sense: “We can't go too far left. This is not a center-left or a left country. We are a center, if anything, center-right country." Denying that political reality is at the heart of the Democrats’ political problems these days. Party leaders seem genuinely to believe that they can win swing-state elections by mobilizing their base and tying every Republican to former President Trump. The strategy backfired badly in Virginia (and nearly in New Jersey)

During his closing argument on Monday, Assistant District Attorney Thomas Binger called the crowd that had been rioting on the night of August 25, 2020, a crowd that "was full of heroes" because they were trying to stop an "active shooter," that shooter being Kyle Rittenhouse. "You know, we’ve had several police officers testify that in an active shooter situation, their first instinct, their first training is to go in and stop the threat. They don’t sit there and wonder, well, maybe it was self-defense. I don’t know, I’m going to, you know, wait and see. And every day we read about heroes that stop active shooters.
Biden’s Moribund Vaccine Mandate 11 replies

The Biden administration will inevitably ask the Supreme Court to review last Friday’s decision by the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals to halt its vaccine mandate. The effort is likely to be futile, however. Writing for the appeals court, Judge Kurt Engelhardt confidently predicted that the mandate’s challengers “are likely to succeed on the merits” under judicial review. Engelhardt took particular exception to the attempt to impose the mandate through the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), pointing out that the Constitution’s Commerce Clause and the nondelegation doctrine preclude OSHA from making such “sweeping pronouncements on matters of public health affecting every member of society in the profoundest of ways.”

As the 2022 midterms approach, the Democrats face what may well be an insurmountable obstacle blocking their attempt to retain their thin congressional majorities. The support they once enjoyed among nonwhite voters is softening. This phenomenon has been most obvious among Hispanics, but it is also true to a lesser extent among Black voters. It was the source of considerable comment after the 2020 election, when Trump made unexpected gains with minorities, and the trend was again evident in the recent Virginia elections. This unnerved the Democrats and their media allies who have reflexively resorted to scare tactics involving white supremacy.

It was hard to watch Kyle Rittenhouse break down during almost five hours in the witness box Wednesday. Over and over, he was forced to relive the traumatic evening of August 25, 2020, when he was chased by a murderous antifa mob and ended up shooting dead two of his attackers and wounding a third in riot-plagued Kenosha, Wis. He was 17 at the time. Taking a life bears heavily on any normal person, and the baby-faced teen was overcome with emotion as he recounted the moment when he found himself cornered, an angry mob in front of him, and an aggressive Joseph Rosenbaum lunging for his rifle.

It feeds into the ongoing narrative that white supremacy was the reason for the Democratic Party’s drumming, not that the party has gone way off the deep end on—everything. We all know that it’s about the narrative, not the facts. We know this from past false liberal narratives that have been torched to death. On this, Democrats have known for years that they need to reach out better to rural voters. They can’t ignore small-town America. A week ago tonight, as I watched the returns in Virginia from my home in North Carolina, snippets of my reporting from around the country over the course of this past year began to feel more and more like a trail of so many predictive cookie crumbs: The centrality of schools already back in the spring in the uber-political battlefield of Ron DeSantis’ Florida. The nonstop drumbeat of the talk about school boards every time I went to Ohio. Even just the consternation about masks or no masks in schools within the chatter of the crowd at a Senate campaign event in late August

Worried about the shortages of goods due to the supply chain crisis? You’re right to be. But instead of fixing the problem, President Joe Biden and his team are blaming you for it — and telling Americans to just suck it up. It’s outrageous. And short-sighted. The images of hundreds of cargo ships waiting to be unloaded isn’t one of those economic issues ordinary people have a hard time understanding. The inability of the transportation system to handle the flow of goods shipped from manufacturers is threatening to not only make it harder to get ordinary items consumers count on but also to short-circuit the annual end-of-year shopping season.

Sometimes a thing can be two things at once, one good and one bad. That requires a choice. And in a free society, that choice is usually best made by the individual directly affected. If not, then by an open, democratic process. Yet that is not what’s happening with Joe Biden’s vaccine mandate and it’s why the cure is worse than the disease. I am, by my choice, thrice vaccinated. I understand the COVID vaccine prevents me from getting sick, and it is only a day-by-day smaller population of unvaccinated people who are actually still at risk of dying. We each make a choice. The relationship between Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and their respective staffs has been on rocky ground for months. As RedState previously reported, the vice president and her camp have complained about being abandoned, even blaming racism as a possible factor, while the White House has fretted at Harris’ sheer incompetence and inability to garner support on her own. Those tensions have led to lots of speculation about what exactly happens in 2024. Harris is clearly a terrible candidate, something she showed during the 2020 presidential primary, but she’s also the heir apparent until Democrats forcibly remove her from that position.
